Species Name: Izer - EXTINCT Species Number: 9 Pronunciation: Eye - Zer Breeds Available: Frost, Storm, Exotic, Golden VSC Breeds: Dust, Cerulean Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Pyre, Prism Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: All Izer (with the exception of frost) prefer warmer climates, from 70 degrees F on up to the 100's. They can be found anywhere from warm forests to jungles, but never plains... Unless they're simply flying over them. They only nest in the tallest branches of trees also, making them hard to get to. Diet: Izers diet can be varied; from fruit, nuts, and seeds... To small rodents and other prey. Please refer to the breed differences however to make sure you get the right diet for your Izer. Call: These creatures were once known make a horrible squaaaabing sound as babies and juveniles, but luckily that stage is over. Now they have a nice range of noises... From the "Tsseeaaar" cry that can be heard when they're soaring high up in the clouds, to the crow-like "Kaw!" or horrible screaming noise when they're angry, and the gentle "parrot like" chatter when they're happy. Special Care Needs: As babies and juveniles, these creatures were almost completely helpless. Now however, they are not quite so... They are capable of flying, so if you haven't trained your Izer well, you may wish to put it in a cage, or tie a tether to it's leg... Or worse still, clip it's wings... We suggest you train it properly though. Izer also have beautiful plumage, which requires weekly care. They are able to groom themselves, but if you wish their plumage to stay so beautiful, you may wish to take a moist soft-bristle brush and "bathe" the bird's feathers. Their claws also might need some clipping if you don't plan on using the bird to hunt for you... They also need to have their beak trimmed, so plenty of things to chew on are a good idea. Also, they need lots of attention, so you'll have to spend a lot of time with them, or they may become depressed and molt. Biology and Anatomy: Graceful and powerful, an Izer's strength is, understandably, flight. Their wings are designed in a narrow, but broad span with the additional lift from their tail-fan, allowing them to glide on updrafts for hours or zip through forests with ease. While not the swiftest birds, they're among the most flexible, with motile necks and small wing-claws for grip. What some seem not to realize is that the 'mane' of feathers behind the Izer's neck are not simply that, they in fact house a small extension of the skull space--and help harbor the bird's fairly complex brain. The price for this, however, is energy, and while the body is small, their gut is primed to make the most out of every morsel they eat--and they eat a lot of it. Behavioral Study: If you raised your Izer yourself from it's hatching, then it should remember you as their particular owner when you walk in the room - which shows incredible potential for a good memory, or perhaps loyalty. Suggested Uses: These creatures are said to be a very graceful flying bird that is un-equaled in companionship to those who hand-raise it properly... Although Izer are flying birds, they have quite long legs, and can walk about gracefully like a crane... That along with their beautiful plumage make them highly desired in all sorts of aviaries. They are also sought after for general companionship - similar to parrots. Some of them still are trained by falconers, or even as birds to carry messages and packages. BreedsFrost: It is rumored that the Frost breed will be more adapt to the colder regions of the world (I wonder why)... The frost breed eats anything it can seem to get it's beak on, from fruits and seeds, to small rodents it finds in it's snow-covered home. Storm: The Storm breed sports pitch black feathers. It prefers to eat only rodents, and whatever other small creatures it can scoop up in it's talons. There are rumors that the Storm breed was designed after the "thunder bird", and can even cause the most torrent of Storms... But those are most likely just rumors. Exotic: When younger, the exotic breed had dull reddish-brown feathers. But now it's plumage is vibrant pink with highlights of odd colors. Truly eye-catching. The exotic breed is also the only Izer capable of Mimicking human speech, as well as other various sounds it may hear (such as a cat's meow). The Exotic breed does not hunt, but rather eats fruits and nuts only. Golden: The Golden breed truly deserves it's name, for it's feathers shimmer and shine like gold! By the opinion of most, the golden breed is sought after as the most beautiful of the Izer. It is said that these amazing were designed after a golden bird-god, worshiped in a land far away. The golden breed prefers an herbivore diet, but it is not unheard of that it will hunt small animals. Earthen: The Earthen breed was made as almost an afterthought, and pumped full of growth hormones to cause them to hatch and grow very quickly... Unfortunately, both the crafting, and the chemicals had.. side-effects.. The Earthen breed (rightly named) lacks most of it's coloration, and is instead quite.. dull.. like dirt. It also seems to have difficulty flying in it's adult stage of life, but.. it CAN get off the ground.. Pyre: is known for it's brilliant plumage, and is rumored to even have fire powers like the legendary phoenix it was designed after. Only owners who are ready for such an energetic pet should take on the care of it. Pyre comes in either male or female, upon request only - however! Pyre is indeed the counter-part of Dust, and there can only be one Pyre in the world for every two Dust Izer! So, unless you're the first adopter of Pyre, you must wait until two Dust Izer are adopted out before your chance will arrive to own an amazing and vibrant Pyre.

Species Name: Salaves - EXTINCT Species Number: 10 Pronunciation: Sal (like "sally") - uh - ves (like in "vest") Breeds Available: Arid, Humid, Void, Frost, Ember, Hydro VSC Breeds: Rosebiter, Cryptdust Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: *see breed differences* Diet: Salaves will eat anything (living) that will fit in their mouths.. and their mouths can open quite wide - so be cautious, as they can eat children if not watched after properly. Call: These creatures normally don't make any noise at all, but have occasionally been heard making a light "hiss" sound... The only exception seems to be the "void" breed... Special Care Needs: Most of the breeds (with the exception of frost and ember) are cold-blooded, and must be accommodated appropriately... Too cold and they'll die, likewise - too hot and they'll die. Biology and Anatomy: Something that many owners might find interesting about the Salaves is it's 6 insect-like legs with webbing that stretches between them like the hood of a cobra, or the flight membrane of a flying squirrel... However, since they've reached their adult stage, most of the mysteries about this "membrane" have been solved.. these creatures are capable of gliding through the air just as gracefully - and with as much endurance - as a manta-ray in the sea. They cannot "take off" from the ground however, and use the insect-like parts of their "legs" to help climb trees, and grab a hold of prey. Behavioral Study: Salaves are loners, preferring to hunt on their own and only coming together if they happen to share the same rock in the sun. They're territorial, and if confronted by an enemy, they will rise upward as far as they can, perfectly balanced and poised. If that doesn't scare the intruder off, they use their insect legs to stretch out the membrane and appear even larger. The bigger the Salaves, the wider the birth the others give you. After all, fully grown ones have been known to eat smaller ones to solve territory issues. They, unlike the newer, sleeker versions, are bulky and more awkward, thus easily underestimated. When they take aim and prepare to strike their prey (which they swallow whole, of course, alive or after suffocating it with their thick coils) they can move extremely fast. Preferring to keep to themselves, they will bond with a human with the ease of, well, a snake. They are smart and cunning, and know who feeds and takes care of them. Be kind and watchful, and you'll have an agreement that they will not eat you nor your other pets. Ignore it, and you or your pets will be added to the menu. Suggested Uses: Good question.. why WOULD somebody want a pet snake? BreedsArid: The arid breed's scales match the sands and rocks that surround it's habitat. These creatures can be often found in all sorts of deserts and wastelands, and occasionally in fields and some forests. They prefer the warmer locations with less rainfall - as too much moisture may damage their scales. Humid: The humid breed's scales match it's lush green habitat... These creatures are often found in areas of the world with heavy rainfall, such as jungles and rain forests... On occasion, they may be found in regular forests or fields, if there's enough humidity to support them. Void: It used to be veiled in mystery.. but in it's adult stage, a few new qualities have started to shine through.. for example.. the Void breed is perfectly capable of speech... It can speak any language that it managed to pick up during it's younger age... Quite handy.. or creepy... Because of this new-found ability however, the adoption rate went up, and now they're all gone... Frost: The frost breed is unique like it's ember counterpart. It was bred to be infused with the elements that make the world cold - and therefore can withstand the most freezing temperatures. An "ice snake" so to speak. Because of it's unique abilities, this creature (already rare) was quickly adopted out and no longer available for adoption. Ember: The ember breed is also (like the frost) a rather unique creature. It was bred to be infused with the elements of volcanos and fire - and therefore can withstand any amount of heat it may be exposed to. A "fire snake" so to speak. Because of it's unique abilities, this creature (already rare) was quickly adopted out and no longer available for adoption. Hydro: The hydro breed was more designed for underwater life it seems... Rather than gliding through the air, they can "glide" through the water with absolute grace! Although, they're perfectly capable of going on land, and even gliding through the air when older, they tend to stay away from it. They prefer to eat fish. Cryptdust: is a fairly common, if you only know where to look... Should you ever unearth the deepest crypt, filled with naught but bones and rats.. that's where you'll find them, feasting on the corpse-bloated rats... And sometimes, the skeletons themselves.. they're not too picky. A few have been extracted, and are now available for adoption - if you're able to handle them.. Their years in the dark have made them mostly blind, and rather sensitive to the light.. and it's still unknown as to what other odd abilities they've picked up amongst the dead...

Species Name: Salaves v.2 Species Number: 10 Pronunciation: Sal (like "sally") - uh - ves (like in "vest") Breeds Available: Blaze, Blizzard, Jade VSC Breeds: Celestial, Precious Feral Breeds: Arid Super-Rare Breeds: Heartless, Sweetheart, Softmint Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: *see breed differences* Diet: Salaves will eat anything (living) that will fit in their mouths.. and their mouths can open quite wide - so be cautious, as they can eat children if not watched after properly. Call: These creatures normally don't make any noise at all, but have occasionally been heard making a light "hiss" sound... Special Care Needs: *see breed differences* Biology and Anatomy: Similar to the regular (and less superior) Salaves, the Salaves v2 have 6 insect like legs along their side, with a thin "gliding membrane" stretching between them.. however, unlike the original salaves, the v2 salaves can fold these legs neatly along their side, to prevent them from getting caught or torn. The protective and large "scale covers" over these legs act like rattles, vibrating when irritated. Behavioral Study: Salaves V2 are sleek and quick, quicker to strike but less intimidating. Their scales are brighter, more welcoming, which makes them more popular with the citizens. They, too, are intelligent, and will often be caught staring at you, seizing you up. Quick to strike without much warning, it's best to use caution, unless you've trained yours well. More social than their predecessors, they gather in groups willingly to soak in the sun, but when it comes to hunting, again they go solo. They go after things their size or smaller, though they aren't so quick to attempt to eat a human, even if it could fit past those jaws. It's not uncommon to see a group of the same species living together in a warm corner. They tend to get into things more, knocking everything over on a table or wedging themselves under a door in an attempt to explore, they go everywhere their skull can fit through, and somehow find their way past every rock holding a lid down. Unlike the original Salaves' intimidating membrane and legs, these possess much the same, only more protected. When a feud erupts between two or more Salaves V2, they rattle their legs against the protective scales, with the loudest and most threatening becoming the victor. Suggested Uses: Good question.. why WOULD somebody want a pet snake? BreedsBlaze: The blaze was bred to be infused with the elements of volcanoes and fire - and therefore can withstand any amount of heat it may be exposed to. A "fire snake" so to speak. Blizzard: The blizzard breed is quite special like it's blaze counterpart. It was bred to be infused with the elements that make the world cold - and therefore can withstand the most freezing temperatures. An "ice snake" so to speak. Jade: The jade is not only considered to be the "standard" of the v2 salaves - but is also quite poisonous! Be cautious when handling the jade.. The jade is also the most delicate as far as environment goes, as they are cold blooded.. too hot, or too cold, and they may die.. Luckily, they are designed to easily withstand "jungle" temperatures.. However, if left in a cooler environment, they hibernate during the winter. Celestial: breed is considered the "sky" breed - or even at times the "holy" breed, though this is debatable.. One thing is for certain - it's shimmering mother-of-pearl scales are that which makes collectors of rare herps drool. Precious: is just that.. for all intents and purposes, it's the Jade breed - but with a little more "zing" to it. Collectors just simply must get their hands on this breed! Though, you should always (as with the jade) be aware of it's venom. The Heartless: is considered the next "void". It's cunning is only matched by it's intelligence, and it's personality is said to match it's name. Only the battle-masters are able to acquire one.. do you have what it takes? Sweetheart: Was only available for purchase for a short time during February of 2009. Arid: The Salaves that prefer the desert landscapes seem to have evolved and adapted... Though they have no technical relation to the "v.1" Arid Salaves, the labs thought it appropriate to name this breed akin to it - seeing as it lives in the arid places of the world. Softmint: Was only available for purchase for a short time during December of 2009.

Species Name: Lerrel Species Number: 11 Pronunciation: L (as in "Long") - air - EL Breeds Available: Blond, Cocoa, Grey, Albino, Black VSC Breeds: Wingless, Pharaoh Feral Breeds: Spotted Super-Rare Breeds: Dove Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Lerrel prefers to live in places that are warm and extremely wooded... Jungles are common places they can be found, just as dense forests are... Any place it seems, where plant-life is overflowing, these little creatures can be found. Diet: They eat a varied diet of Nuts, Seeds, Fruits, and Vegetables. They have also been seen eating Bugs, Eggs, and small Lizards of Birds even. Call: This little creatures are chatty things. In fact, they never seem to shut up.. They can "crab", "bark", "chitter", "purr", "hiss", and make many, many other noises. Special Care Needs: These little creatures need companions... If their owner ignores them, then they'll become depressed and perhaps even die... They also have a LOT of energy, so their owners should be aware that these little balls of boundless energy may very well keep you up all night long. Biology and Anatomy: The lerrel are petite creatures. Their bodies are small, usually not extremely muscular. Most though have fairly long fur, though in cities owners trim it to keep their beloved pets cool. The lerrel's bones are hollow, making it able to fly more easily... But the wings are still greatly muscled for flight. And even that is a hard task. Big ears help the lerrels hear, more than most pets can, but their eyesight is monotone, and less accurate than most. Their scent is fairly good, as well. Lerrel's claws are sharp and curved, used for gripping and stopping. The tail is used for mainly balance Behavioral Study: They live in tightly-knit social groups, and spend all day chittering amongst themselves. They have very high energy levels, and with their four wings, they can even glide.. Some rumors suggest that when trained properly, they can even fly.. But these are just rumors. Let it also be known that these creatures are extremely smart - as smart as monkeys they say... And thus, they can solve many puzzles, and some people say they can even learn to use basic tools (but.. those are just rumors, right?) Suggested Uses: These little critters make excellent companions for people who have no other pets to take up their time... They also make great scouts. BreedsBlond: There aren't any differences between the breeds other than sheer color.. And the blond seems to be quite the popular color.. With it's light pelt, and blue eyes - it seems to have been all adopted out! Cocoa: Cocoa is one of the "standard" colors of Lerrel - and blends in fairly well with it's surroundings. Grey: Grey, like Cocoa, is one of the "standard" colorations of this species. Albino: The Albino breed was all snatched up as soon as they hatched for it's pelt is by far the most beautiful.. However, because they are albino, they do have a certain sensitivity to light. Black: The Black breed is quite special - and.. even though lerrels normally are active at night, the Black breed is extremely so.. it refuses to wake up during the day-time, and can become quite sick if you attempt to change it's sleeping habits. Dove: The Dove Lerrel is only available to Arena Champions.. and is also the only Lerrel with "dove wings", or feathered wings... do you have one?

Species Name: Inkrum; EXTINCT Species Number: 12 Pronunciation: Ink - Rum Breeds Available: Seaspray, Sunset VSC Breeds: None Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Striker, Flutter Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPrefered Habitat: Inkrum live at the seashore, be it beaches or sea-cliffs... They nest on the sandy shores, but to escape danger, are perfectly able climbers and climb the hazardous cliffs with perfect skill. Diet: Although their preferred food is bamboo, they eat very little of it as their preferred habitat is the sea-side, and there is little to no bamboo there.. They rarely go inland to feed, but are able to store lots of food within' their shell. Call: These creatures have not been known to make any noises. Special Care Needs: Because they are quite sturdy, these creatures are difficult to damage... You could probably drop one 200 feet and it would not suffer any damage. They can withstand a great amount of weight as well, as one could have a car placed on top of it, and it's shell would still not be crushed. However, this sturdy body also provides a stubborn mindset, and many owners have as much of a difficult time training one as one would have with a mule. Biology and Anatomy: The inkrum is a curious creature indeed, many mysteries surround them as they have supposedly died off, but some people have seen these majestic shelled creatures upon the beaches playing and sunning themselves. They are shelled, yes, like a turtle which is their main defense against any creature or attacker (if it is humanoid in nature) and also serves as their "home" when they are out and about. Wings adorn each side of this protective shell, they are feathered, like a bird, and sure enough they can carry this creature flying if need be, assuring any owner that they are indeed light despite their heavy appearance. The only parts of their body unarmored are their six legs and their ears which are always sticking out from their shell. Their ears are delicate so keeping them with a seeker is not a good idea (even though they are heavily armored) Any owner should take pride in their shells seeing as they are very rare to see and any person could be proud of their shining armor, besides, they can't clean it themselves all too well. No one really knows what's in the inkrum shell as they never seem to come out to say hello, even to their owners! Behavioral Study: Excellent jumpers, they attack their predators by leaping at their foes, and hurling their own shelled body at them. Little damage is ever done to the Inkrum this way... It does not really do any damage to their predators, but it is a spectacular scare tactic. The Inkrum love this activity so much, that it is not uncommon to see several Inkrum playing "leapfrog" on the beach, which is quite the sight to see (like a jumping beetle). Although they are a shelled creature, they are anything but sluggish - though, one of the least dangerous creatures you could encounter. Suggested Uses: Their cliff climbing ability is sought after by mountain climbers - for this creature is very sturdy, and able to climb a sheer cliff, even with a full-grown man holding onto it's back... Almost a free ride for anyone wishing to scale a dangerous cliff-side. BreedsSeaspray: Other than simple color, there are no differences between the two breeds. The Seaspray breed however, is the preference of the species' purchaser, Griffin, who wanted such a creature to have a green shell. Sunset: Other than simple color, there are no differences between the two breeds. The Sunset breed was only created because the scientists at MML felt the creature should have more matching colors - and thus, the Sunset breed was born. Sadly though, because this creature was not what the client requested, there were not so many made - and they have become limited edition due to lack of supply. Flutter: If you use a special potion on your Inkrum - it may very well turn into a Flutter Inkrum! The Inkrum shown here is the Seaspray variety - but any color Inkrum can be turned into a Flutter, even customs and Offspring!.In addition to this - from now on, when you breed Inkrum, it may be a Flutter or Striker (you never really know). Striker: If you use a special potion on your Inkrum - it may very well turn into a Striker Inkrum! The Inkrum shown here is the Seaspray variety - but any color Inkrum can be turned into a Striker, even customs and Offspring! In addition to this - from now on, when you breed Inkrum, it may be a Striker or Flutter (you never really know).

Species Name: "P.H.I.L." (Prototype of Hardy Indestructible Life-Remover) Species Number: 13 Pronunciation: - Breeds Available: Common VSC Breeds: Blood Iron, Frost Steel Feral Breeds: Snow Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: "Phil" prefers the wooded habitat - be it pine or leaf-filled forests. This species however, was designed to withstand great cold temperatures, and be able to also withstand incredible heats. Diet: "Phil" only eats meat.. And lots of it. Call: "Phil" can make subtle sounds like "grumbling, growling, and grunting".. But the most famous sound it makes is a terrifying roar. Special Care Needs: "Phil" can be quite chaotic, and thus it needs to be watched at all times. They are also quite clever, and can figure out how to get into almost any food container. "Phil" also can be quite violent (randomly), so one should be cautious with it. Biology and Anatomy: Coming Soon... Behavioral Study: These creatures are curious, clever, and aggressive... They'd prefer to "watch" than attack though... but.. then again, they ARE quite chaotic... Although, rumor has it that they can also be quite playful. A quick strike from the powerful tail, then a rend of the claws, and a clash of the teeth.. even when striking back, unless you hit the soft belly, the armor usually prevents the "Phil" from even feeling any damage.. be extremely careful when dealing with them! Suggested Uses: These creatures were custom designed for a foreign government... They were made to be bullet-proof, and able to tear apart enemy soldiers... Please PLEASE use these creatures with caution. BreedsCommon: This is the only breed available. Snow: Found in the mountains of the north, and the tundra of even farther north. Blood Iron: Missing Information.

Species Name: Seryn Species Number: 14 Pronunciation: Sei - Rin Breeds Available: Aurora, Kelp, Spring, Reef VSC Breeds: Charcoal, Rainbow, Koi Feral Breeds: Muddy Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: The Seryn are completely aquatic creatures, and cannot survive out of the water. All Seryn with the exception of spring live in salt water - but the temperatures vary by breed... Also - habitat specifics vary by breed, so please read below. Diet: In the wild, Seryn eat various things from aquatic plant-life, to small bugs.. but all owners feed their Seryn Industrial Fish Food, that's the easiest. Call: Most would say that a fish can make no noise... but a few owners have been blessed with hearing the Seryn's "song"... have you heard it? It's supposed to be so beautiful to almost make you want to cry. Special Care Needs: The Seryn cannot survive out of the water - so make sure they have plenty of it, and that it remains clean! Seryn also have a particular need for temperature type and preferred hiding places to keep them happy, so please read about them in the breed differences before setting up it's habitat. Seryn also, strangely enough for a fish, need attention.. Perhaps you should sit by their tank or pond and read them stories? Wait... This is odd.. well cared for Seryn.. they can Fly! And thus, no longer require water to live... they can swim through the air, just as gracefully as swimming through the water... wow. Biology and Anatomy: The Seryn seems rather like a typical fish species, shiny-scaled and smooth-finned, but many differences become evident upon close inspection. For one, they are particularly light if you ever care to touch their sleek bodies, with thin, fragile bones, in order to reduce weight through flight, and their front fins are oddly long and soft. This, however, is not enough to actually allow them to fly by means of pure physics, and therefore it is often suggested that there is some element of magic about this matter. Different too are their oddly human-like eyes, in contrast to the black buttons that a typical fish has, and their variety of colors are often considered beautiful by Seryn owners, whom selectively breed them for a wider range. Behavioral Study: Even though at the baby stage, they're mostly concerned with learning to swim and eat correctly, in their juvenile stage, they seem to want to explore the waters given to them, and often surface to greet the land-dwellers that wander their shores, or tank-edges. They are in need of company, and though they don't swim in groups usually, the DO interact with other species, such as dolphins, or humans quite frequently. Suggested Uses: Who wouldn't want a beautiful, magical, and lucky fish? Granted, at the moment, all it can really do is look pretty - but... perhaps the best loved and cared for Seryn will end up having.. additional uses to bless their owners with..? ... speaking of additional abilities.. these "wish fish" are indeed special.. if they were well cared for in their younger age, they can even.. Fly! BreedsAurora: The Aurora breed lives in the coldest waters - pretty well in any cold water that's not yet ice.. They like to hide amongst the icebergs, and are seen (although rarely) watching the northern lights in large groups. Rumors also suggest that their song is the most beautiful - as they are capable of singing in harmony, as opposed to just by itself. Kelp: The Kelp breed is designed mostly to "blend in" with it's surroundings. They prefer medium temperature waters, and hide from predators within' great forests of kelp... It is said that they are the guardians of the underwater forests - but most of the scientists just think that they're widely hunted by predators, and hide because of that reasoning. Spring: Spring.. as in.. "natural spring" - a pure water source usually filled with minerals.. these Seryn are the only kinds you can find in fresh water, and the minerals seemed to have soaked into their scales, giving them a metallic golden sheen... They seem to like to collect pebbles, and various shiny things. Reef: The Reef breed really stands out as far as colors come - and they don't seem to mind. They live in the warmer waters of the world, and seem to be full of energy - almost playful. If you should dip your fingers in their water, they're sure to receive a playful nip. Rainbow: The Rainbow Seryn is quite simply put the most beautiful of all seryn, white in color - pink eyes, and shimmering in a literal rainbow of colors.. the Rainbow Seryn in particular enjoy flying around rainbows, and that is where they are more frequently found Charcoal: Though darker and more dull in color than the other Seryn, these little fish are by no means lesser! Koi: The Koi Seryn are prized for their unique coloration - being the only seryn with spots, rather than stripes. Muddy: Found in Freshwater.. Unable to grant wishes. "Old" Seryn: All Seryn (with the exception of muddy) are able to learn to fly... the love and devotion that their respective owner has for them not only allows them to grant wishes, but allows them many abilities which are a symbol of their hearts' love. Grant wishes, fly, and protect their owners in the harshest of seas and deepest of oceans, and highest of skies... Did -you- love your Seryn enough..?

Species Name: Faeron Species Number: 15 Pronunciation: Fay - Ron Breeds Available: Frolic, Rascal, Starlight, Earbiter VSC Breeds: Shimmer, Shine, Aquabubble, Snowdrop, Knothole Feral Breeds: Temple Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Faeron all love to stick to the leafy forests of the world. The cold seasons are not their friends, and they usually prefer to stay most active during the springs and summers.... During the winter, they usually seek shelter (like.. a hollowed out tree for a lovely den). Diet: Well.. It's usually not known what Faeron eat, for nobody's seen them eat anything consistent. The Frolics are said to dine on candy and sweets, where the Frolics will drink your milk and rummage through your bread loaves.. The Starlight is still a mystery (though most say they eat fruit), and the Earbiter eats.. well.. Ears? ALL faeron however, have a habit of devouring small shiny objects (such as gems, and pocket-watches). Call: Faerons usually make a "mewing" sound, similar to kitten. They have also been known to "giggle" (be it cute, or evil sounding) - a sound that seems very similar to that which a small child makes! They also squeak when surprised. Special Care Needs: Can you handle your Faeron's personality? Please check the Breed Differences for more information. Biology and Anatomy: About the size of a small cat and warm blooded, these hyper creatures need lots of room to fly. They have a distinctly dragonish look about them, but give live birth. With six wings, they flit around constantly, similar to hummingbirds. They are very delicate, so make sure they don't get torn. Their scales should be oiled about once a week to prevent cracking, which causes great discomfort to the creature. Their claws grow quickly, so weekly trimming is advised, or wearing leather all over. They may look and act like dragons, but they don't breathe fire, which is unfortunate. Though they don't become any larger once they reach their old stage in life, they do gain quite a bit more aerodynamics... Loop-dee-loops? No problem. Hover? No problem. Turn on a dime? You bet! Good luck catching them. Behavioral Study: *please see breed differences* Suggested Uses: Many people keep Faeron for pets.. or rather, fairly intelligent minions.. Though they can't talk, they DO seem to be able to (mostly) understand human speech, and (usually) stay close to their human companion... Though, that won't stop them from causing them trouble. There are several people however, who think all "faerie dragons" (of faeron) should be squashed like the insects they are upon sight! BreedsFrolic: Frolic are by far the most friendly of all the Faeron. They have no mischievous nature to them, and instead of playing pranks, they'd rather be fed candy, and pick flowers to give as gifts. They like watching butterflies, and blowing bubbles, and rolling around in the grass, giggling on a sunny day. Unfortunately, their friendly nature is also their downfall, and they never can quite tell when they should stay away from people - for anger does not translate well to them! If you are angry with a Frolic Faeron, and "smack it away", it will mostly likely blink in confusion and hurt, then come right back with a giggle to give you a lick on the cheek. Rascal: Rascal are fairly similar to the Frolic, in that they're generally harmless and kind... However, don't let their generally friendly nature fool you! Have you ever lost your left sock? Or had a wind blow up your skirt, making it a reverse umbrella? That may have been the (light-hearted) prank of a Rascal Faeron! While they are usually friendly, the LOVE to play pranks on folk, and cause general mischief, and are thus sometimes hard to control... and like their Frolic brethren, they just don't know when to stop! Starlight: Starlight is quite the opposite of almost all other Faeron... Rather than "not knowing when to quit", they would rather do.. well, nothing at all. These little Faeron prefer to stay far away from all other people and creatures, preferring a life of quiet, and peace. They'd much rather spend their time staring up at the stars, which their own hide resembles. They also, are only seen at night, though it's rather rare - as they're a shy lot. Earbiter: Earbiter gets it's name for a reason! These little creatures go beyond harmless pranks, in fact, they seem to get joy out of the more nasty kind! The most frequent complaint by those who encounter them, is that they will fly up to bite your ear! Some Earbiters are so mean they say, that they'll bite a chunk of it right off! Be careful around an Earbiter - although they can't kill you (you think), they can be quite nasty! ... Then again... Why DID that piano fall, anyway..? Shimmer: What a cute little Faeron indeed! Shimmer is most similar to the Starlight breed in personality - it's quite quiet and shy, fairly friendly - but keeps to itself. They have a very metallic pelt, and shimmer in the sun.. Ah yes, the sun.. their very favorite thing! Shimmer LOVE gold, and shiny things more than all other Faeron it seems, and they prefer to only be out and about on the most bright and sunny of days, so their pelt reflects even more! These creatures would have been regular MML adoptables.. but sadly, because of their shiny pelt, they've been hunted to near extinction, and only a few are left! Shine: What a beautiful little Faeron indeed! Shine is the sibling, so to speak, of Shimmer, can't you tell? It's slightly more playful than it's Shimmer brethren, but - even more shy... hm, what a paradox! They have a very metallic pelt, and shimmer in the moonlight.. Ah yes, the moon.. their very favorite thing! Shine LOVE silver, and shiny things more than all other Faeron it seems (except the shimmer), and they prefer to only be out and about at night, as they're nocturnal. These creatures would have been regular MML adoptables.. but sadly, because of their shiny pelt, they've been hunted to near extinction, and only a few are left! Aqua-Bubble: The Aqua-Bubble Faeron cannot fly like their siblings, but rather are found only under water. They can "float" in mid-air outside of the water, but as they must "breathe water" to survive, they cannot be out of it for long.. No more than a minute or two. They're mysteriously elusive creatures, much like the Starlight Faeron - and catching a glimpse of one is to be considered a rare treat Temple: The Temple Faeron is said to only exist around a single temple, hidden deep within' the jungles of the south.

Species Name: Gallor Species Number: 16 Pronunciation: Gal - Or Breeds Available: Celerity, Dauntless, Glamour, Stealth, Aptery VSC Breeds: Ravenfeather, Whitemane, Goldenfeather, Cheeky Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: The Gallor are found in various places of the world, each breed with it's own habitat, please check breed differences below for details. Diet: Gallor will only eat meats - and are picky eaters at that.. they won't eat anything "processed", so industrial carnivore feed is out of the question... Even the most friendly of Gallor eat meat! So don't be deceived by bright colors, and buy fruit! Call: Gallor make all sorts of cries, usually the kind that reminds one of the great eagle's "tseeear" - but sometimes, it's rumored that an angry Gallor can roar gallantly, to frighten away opponents.. and.. it's also rumored, that they can purr. Special Care Needs: Gallor are very vain creatures, and need to be groomed frequently... Make sure to pet them often, and oil their feathers, and brush their fur... If you don't, they get grumpy, and a grumpy gallor is never a good thing... Juvenile Gallor are especially tough, as this is the age when they start to explore everything! Be prepared to have them knocking over vases, digging in potted plants, jumping up on counters, and using your sofa as a scratching-post! Biology and Anatomy: Gallors are a delecate balance between a bird and a feline. They have a basic body structure of a cat, but with bird claws and head, and wings sprouting from their shoulder-blades (the Aptery breed being the only exception). They all have cat-like tails, which are used to aid in steering while in flight, as well as balance. Their bones are hollow like a bird's, so as to keep them aloft while flying. However, as with the bumblebee, many people say that they shouldn't be able to fly. Non-retractable claws and a sharp beak keep them safe from natural predators, and deliver the killing blow to prey. Gallor have cat-like ears, which can rotate in almost any direction, giving them keen hearing. Their eyes are more akin to bird's, though they do have the feline's ability to see in the dark. If you shine a light just right, the Gallor's eyes will glow. Behavioral Study: Though extremely vain and high tempered, once in a group, Gallor work well together. There's usually one lead male in the group, and several females... One might be reminded of lions - where the female is the most important part of the group, but the male is much needed as well, and the core protector. Males can get along together, but are usually too territorial to try - it's best to introduce males at a young age... Though males are the "protectors", they tend to be more relaxed when around family, and can be the most affectionate, where as the females are usually more independent - though great group workers. Suggested Uses: Many use gallor as fighting companions, such as one would use a lion.. the Dauntless Gallor is rumored to be used as a flying mount when an adult, and the Glamour.. Well.. it's just for show, and is often used as an exotic pet. BreedsDauntless: Dauntless are quite powerful, and the largest of all the gallor.. Their temper is also one to match, as there seems to be nothing that will cause them to change their mind, once it's made up... Stubborn, that's the best way to put it.. If they're loyal, they'll often die in battle for their owners, or family members, as NOTHING will ever make them flee. Glamour: Glamour is small.. about the size of a small dog... It's bright feathers usually catch everyone's attention, and they tend to be extremely playful, like a kitten, or a parrot... In fact, it's rumored that those two very creatures are their origin! Stealth: Stealth prefer to live in the colder regions of the world.. in fact, too much heat is bad for them, and they can easily die of heat exhaust. When both stalking, and flying, their feet and wings are silent.. they make no noise when they move.. and thus, can easily sneak up upon their prey. Celerity: Celerity is by far the fastest of the Gallor, reaching ridiculous speeds (90 mph on ground, and almost 275 in the air!).. They're quite dainty though, and can never be ridden by anyone larger than a small child (no more than 110 lbs). They prefer open spaces though, and can get quite jumpy and nervous when in an enclosed area, even a wide forest! So be careful not to cramp them! Aptery: The Aptery breed lives in burrows underground. Usually found in either woodlands or dryer regions (such as deserts), these burrowing (wingless) Gallor are much larger than their cousins. Hefty, Bulky, and fierce protectors of their dens, these gallor make wonderful guard pets Cheeky: Cheeky is the Lead Scientist's favorite breed of Gallor, and had all the aggressive genes removed from it.. it's the only Gallor that eats fruit instead of meat.. and.. is only the size of a house cat! These loving little creatures are sure to give you some snuggles.. but.. they do tend to have temper-tantrums, every now and then...

Species Name: Tat-Lung Species Number: 17 Pronunciation: Tat (as in "Tap", with a "t" at the end) - Lung Breeds Available: Pearl, Agate, Lapis, Coral VSC Breeds: Dynasty Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Jade, Silver, Gold, Crystal Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: The tat-lung seem to only swim in fresh-water, and cannot survive in salt-water... Most people place them in simple shallow ponds for easy viewing. When Tat-Lung reach their "mature" stage of life however, their bodies are no longer limited by the water it seems - and some can even take to the skies! See details in breed differences for more information. Diet: The tat-lung eat all sorts of bugs that stick to the surface of the water, and can be fed industrial fish food... Once they reach their juvie stage of life, they start to eat smaller fish, and even (very shiny) stones they find at the bottom of their pond. In their "mature" stage of life, the tat-lung seem to enjoy eating shiny stones and gems - as well as fish, poultry, and fruit.. it really depends on the breed, so check below. Call: The tat-lung make no known noise when they're babies - but when juvies, they can make a hissing noise on rare occasions. Once the tat-lung reach their "mature" stage of life however, their vocals change dramatically! Anywhere from a beautiful sound of a low gong or bell (or even whale-song), to the higher pitches of a violin in it's most beautiful form... They can even make a growling rumble like thunder in the sky, or hiss like the crack of electricity, or the serpents of hell! Special Care Needs: There are no special care needs at the baby or juvenile stage of life - other than to make sure to keep the water clean, and never let it freeze... In the "mature" stage however... Well, they require a lot more attention... But, such information has yet to be discovered - I hope you raised yours well! Biology and Anatomy: Tat-Lung can only be described as beautiful, in any stage. With glossy, shining scales, or shimmering fur, they almost immediately draw all attention to themselves, and hardly ever seem to mind. Being as intelligent as they are, it's not uncommon for them to come across as vain, but who could blame them? Each Tat-Lung breed is unique, but they all share some common characteristics. Large, elegant heads, with wispy tendrils that form along the nose of the creature, and long ears. Most breeds have horns that jut from their skull, and each year, they shed them for a new, larger, and even more imposing pair. Long and lean, Tat-Lung are regal in their appearance, and very proud of themselves. Behavioral Study: The tat-lung seem to be more intelligent than the average fish, but it's really had to tell, as they tend to stay by themselves.. but those who are dedicated to training them know that they are perfectly capable of being trained. When they mature however, they are majestic, beautiful - and hold the highest amount of animal wisdom, to the point where one would swear they were more intelligent than humans! They LOVE pretty things, and prize them more than most things in the world. Suggested Uses: At this their younger stages of life, they seem to be nothing more than a neat pet to display... However, when they reach their majestic "mature" stage, things change... Oh, how they change! These creatures are FINE companions, and each one holds it's own special abilities.. you should read below to help you understand them more. BreedsPearl: Because of their beautiful coloration, the pearl were all adopted out! Terribly sorry if you missed your chance. Pearl are also the most loving of the Tat-Lung, and will always love their owner. However, one must be truly bonded with them to enjoy the wonders of their empathetic link. Agate: The Agate is a curious breed - and though mighty, has quite a friendly disposition. Lapis: The Lapis was the first to mature.. more information will be coming soon, after some more research is done.... On that note, we'd like to thank Yamase for donating the original Jade eggs that the genetics were borrowed and altered from - without that original egg, we wouldn't have these wonderful creatures with us today. Coral: The Coral love to live by the ocean-side, and also one of the most temperamental, just like the coming tide.. sometimes it washes over your feet, and sometimes it sends forth in a crashing wave. Dynasty: The Dynasty is "snoody" - for lack of a better term. It is the Tat-Lung that would be most likely to actually read a book.. and, for that matter, keep a catalogue of all books within your library, and where they go on the shelf.. They tend to have a "better than thou" sort of personality, but with a loving owner - they can overcome that... for their owner. Jade: The Jade isn't a Tat-Lung at all, really.. The Jade is one of the few original Eggs (of a Zong-Lung) that had been delivered to the Laboratory to have their DNA extracted.. In fact, it was the Jade eggs that made the rest of the Tat-Lung! These creatures are extremely rare, and had only been given out to a select few people. Jade? Vain. Silver: The Silver (like the gold and crystal) were given out during a special event or two when they were still but only eggs. The Silver is fluid, graceful, and intelligent. It is quite vain, but not so much as the Jade.. Nothing is as vain as the Jade... The Silver is the most common of the three event Tat-Lung. Gold: The Gold (like the silver and crystal) were given out during a special event or two when they were still but only eggs. The Gold is the most "regal" of Tat-Lung.. Oh, I'm sorry - does the Dynasty disagree? Oh yes, the Gold and Dynasty don't seem to get along very well at all.. they fill the same role, and all that. Crystal: The Crystal (like the silver and gold) were given out during a special event or two when they were still but only eggs. The crystal all seem to have a unique coloration to their gems and crystals, which decorate their bodies - making them even more "precious" than their silver and gold brothers and sisters.

Species Name: Malii Species Number: 18 Pronunciation: Mal (as in bad) - E Breeds Available: Akui, Zeni, Fire, Woodland, Gem VSC Breeds: Foxfire, Raincloud Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Anywhere with lots of companionship. Diet: Malii are very picky eaters, and eat seafood only. If you have a Gem Malii, they may choose to eat poultry, but once you feed a Gem Malii either poultry or seafood, it sticks with that for the rest of its life. Wet cat food flavored like their favorite food serves as a special treat, and is handy while training. Call: Malii make a very soft sound as babies, somewhere between a meow and a baa, but they grow into loud 'BWARK' as they get older. Any Malii, male or female, no matter what breed, make a sound like a cross between a piano and a howl during breeding season, and the female picks the male with the sound closest to her own. Special Care Needs: Malii are extremely easy to care for, and aside from the occasional horn polishing (careful, it's sharp!), they don't need any more care than you would give a dog. Biology and Anatomy: Although they may look cat-like, these critters are actually more closely related to creatures such as the fossa and mongoose. Their five distinctive tails move uniformly, although it is possible for them to move one at a time, it is much like a human curling their toes- easier to move all at once. Their horns are quite sharp, and it isn't advised to test the tip on any vital body parts. Although their eyes are eerily white, Malii are perfectly capable of perceiving and understanding optic stimuli. Behavioral Study: Malii are perfectly capable of acquiring their own food, through differences in the breed differences section. However, through trial and error, researchers have found out that whatever type of Malii you have, they absolutely loathe having their tails touched. It is speculation that if a Malii allows its owner to touch its tail, good fortune will befall the owner. If you happen to have a Malii that allows you to touch, or even to stroke its tails, you either have a very stupid or a very loyal Malii. It is said that Malii that are cared for by one owner since they were eggs are the most loyal of all, and will allow you to pet their tails. Suggested Uses: Malii are companion animals by nature. BreedsAkui: Akui Malii are by far the most antisocial of all Malii. If you are looking for a companion, the Dark Malii should be the first choice you cross out of your list. They are often good fighting pit fighters, because of their apathy for the pain of others, but they are occasionally disqualified for attacking something other than their opponent. Dark Malii have horns that seem to also be infused with odd powers.. Most of which, are unknown. Zeni: The Zeni Malii is by nature the most loyal Malii of all, and will often allow a female to pet its tails (like unicorns). Their horns look as though they are made of pure diamond, and some researchers think that it is infused with some sort of magical power. Fire: Fire Malii are the most aggressive of the Malii breeds, and with the combination of their fire and their temper, they can be deadly to anyone who doesn't know how to take care of them! They can also be fierce fighters in the fighting pit, but only with the proper training and guidance. Woodland: The woodland breed is quite outgoing - and usually causes trouble. Their mischievous nature tends to cause trouble when training, but they are by no means hyper, or "snobby" like vulpine vulticus! They're actually quite passive, and prefer to watch the world go by with a rather wise gaze... Gem: Gem Malii are the most common of the Malii, and their brightly colored pelt makes them highly sought after as pets. Raincloud: Raincloud is the most bored and depressed little Malii you've ever seen! It will lay about for hours on end, sighing to itself, and staring longingly out the window... Rumors have it, that when it rains, the raincloud is responsible.. And when there's a rainbow in the sky, the creature's personality flips to become the sweetest and happiest thing in the whole world! Do you suppose it can grant wishes..? Foxfire: Foxfire is a tricky little creature.. It's fire is not hot, nor is it cool.. why is it called foxfire do you suppose..? One thing's for certain, foxfire is a clever little critter, and loves to cause trouble.. be it for good, or bad.

Species Name: Mosca Species Number: 19 Pronunciation: Moss - Ka Breeds Available: Flighty, Warrior, King, Huntress VSC Breeds: Mighty, Shaman Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Most Mosca prefer to be in the jungle regions of the world, where-as some can stretch themselves out into the wide open savanah lands... But wherever they live, it's always in a hot region of the world. Diet: Strictly carnivorous - eats animals ranging from creatures the size of antelope to ones the size of mice. Call: These creatures can make a large range of noises similar to your average house cat, such as meows and hisses, along with a chirping noise mothers often use to call their cubs. The Warrior breed also hefts the ability to boast an impressive roar. Special Care Needs: Baby Mosca are quite weak, and need lots of love and care. Because of their need for extra care, they usually don't live very long - unless taken care of by a good parent, or good owner. Once they reach the juvenile stage of life, they tend to be more mischievous - and get into... well.. everything, so keep an eye on them. Biology and Anatomy: Mosca are built by design to be one the most lithe but deadly forces of the grasslands. There are some slight differences between breeds, but in general they are of lighter build, quick paws, thick tails to help them balance and steer, and powerful wings that help them conquer the skies as well as the earth. Also, it should be noted -although Mosca have four wings, by the time they reach adulthood only one pair is built for powered flight. The other two wings are much smaller, having evolved to give only some extra lift and to aide in steering, and are often hidden behind the other two wings. Behavioral Study: Mosca prefer a life of secrecy... It's rumored, that in the wild, they live in tightly knit groups, but their behavior in captivity (independent) suggests otherwise. Skilled at being hunters, they seem to have a great sense of pride, which can be easily damaged... Also, more intelligent than the Estharne, be careful not to hurt their pride - for they might understand an insult! Suggested Uses: Frequently owned and used as a "hunting companion"... sorta'... similar to a falcon that catches doves, the Mosca catches larger prey for it's owner.. if trained properly.. They're also used in races.. BreedsFlighty: The Flighty breed would be the "scout" of the Mosca, if they really do have a society... They are the only Mosca that can stand to venture out into the open plains and Savannah - in fact, they prefer it. They tend to dislike the crowded world of the jungle, and excel at speed. Warrior: The Warrior breed is known to be more aggressive than the other Mosca. Their pelt is riddled with the most beautiful of stripes, helping it hide within' their jungle home, and strike with the upmost power. King: The King breed has a beautiful marbled fur pattern that helps it hide within' it's jungle home. Not much is known about the King breed, as they are truly a secretive creature! Not only is the King breed considered to be the most beautiful of breeds - but it's wings are entirely ethereal! Able to sprout either one or two pair of ethereal wings at will, the King breed is by far the most magnificent. Huntress: The Huntress breed is the most "pack-like" of the Mosca.. They're all female, and very similar to the Warrior in their behaviors and strengths... along with their weaknesses. Shaman: Shaman is a quiet breed of Mosca, always secretive and simple... One never truly knows the ultimate purpose of the Shaman Mosca, but it surely has it's name for a reason. Mighty: The Mighty Mosca is the "power-house" of all the Mosca, even more-so than the Warrior Mosca! These creatures sport a mane that resembles that of a lion, and general are void of special markings on their body... They're not too graceful of flyers, but they can fly - and oh my can their roar be heard for miles!

Species Name: Thundergug Species Number: 20 Pronunciation: Thunder - Guh (as in "guppy") - g (as in "gold") Breeds Available: Tundra, Wasteland, Forest, Savannah VSC Breeds: Plastic Feral Breeds: Natural Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Varies from breed to breed, please read below. Diet: The Thundergug is a strict herbivore. They tend to stick to grains and vegetables more than fruits though. Call: They make a very loud and deep trumpeting call... They also snort when angry. Special Care Needs: The Thundergug tend to be a rather stubborn creature... not dumb or violent, just... stubborn - keep that in mind when training them. Biology and Anatomy: Massive and solid, a thundergug is a powerhouse combining the best bits of mammal and reptile anatomy. Like most reptiles, weight for weight thundergug muscle is four times as potent as mammalian muscle. Additionally, a gug's crest and tail are not only ornaments--they act as fat storage for tougher times. This in mind, gugs require tremendous amounts of fodder to keep them healthy (a fat gug is a happy gug!) and can suffer vitamin deficiencies if their diet is forcefully restricted. Left to themselves however, a gug is perfectly capable of mowing its hungry way through your favorite roses (and anything else they feel like eating at the time). Behavioral Study: They live in groups of 4-14 in the wild, and so - they get along easily with their owner. Very hard-headed creatures, they tend to be far too stubborn for their own good (you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink). Very little frightens them - very little indeed, and not much can make them move if they feel the need to stay put. It is rumored, that when an adult walks, it makes the very ground shake, to create the sound of "thunder". Suggested Uses: Because of their ability to not move if they don't want to, or rather, to move when they want to regardless of what "holds them back", they are often used as creatures to lead wagons, or other various heavy objects. One can easily see an adult Thundergug pulling a war wagon behind it. Breeds AvailableTundra: The tundra breed lives in the vast open plains of.. well.. the frozen tundra. They munch on the small shrubby plants there, and are able to survive in the harsh environment there, able to last quite a long time with scarce food. Many people seek them out for their pelt coloration, and thus, they were all adopted out. Wasteland: The wasteland breed gets it's name from the coloration of it's pelt - matching the blackened ground where volcanoes had once erupted their fury... Like the tundra breed, they are able to survive in harsh environments with little food or water available... Even though their home originated at the base of a volcano, they have since spread out into various deserts of the world. Forest: The forest breed live in smaller groups (3-7), and usually reside... well.. within' forests... Other than that, there are very few differences between them, and the other breeds. Savannah: The savannah breed is the most "typical" breed of the Thundergugs. They live in vast open plains... usually... They also border on deserts, but tend not to venture too far in, for the environment can be too harsh for them. They usually have the largest of herds. Plastic: The Plastic Thundergug is not actually made out of plastic... but it's smooth and shiny hide might be mistaken for plastic by it's texture.. and the coloring.. might remind one of a childhood toy or two... Natural: Found anywhere the trees are sparse.. Er.. not including oceans, frozen wastelands, and deserts, of course.
