Species Name: Yumenokei Species Number: 36 Pronunciation: You - May - No - Kay Breeds Available: Bougetsu, Shingetsu, Gengetsu VSC Breeds: Meigetsu, Burumuun, Cyberpunk Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Pale Moon, Ghost Whisper Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: While it is impossible to give an accurate portrayal of the Yumenokei's habitat, they can usually be found in forest clearings bathed in moonlight, or quiet places with a sense of peace to them. Clear streams, and quiet fields are welcome, but it seems these creatures can be just as happily taken to a sprawling city, or meager town. Diet: Yumenokei do not seem to be a corporeal being, and therefor have a less than standard diet. It has been observed that they generally feed off of the creative energy released in any form of artistry. Dance, music, poetry, or art- these creatures are found frequently in touch with those highly skilled, giving inspiration and motivation in return for the expended energy of their owners. Likewise, great thinkers, and puzzling minds find the Yumeno drawn to them in an unusual way. It is said also that the Yumenokei feed upon nightmares in the dreamscape, though proof has yet to be found. As to a more conventional fare, it seems that the only thing anyone has ever been able to get a Yumenokei to physically eat, is mochi. --They are particularly fond, it seems, of ume filling. Call: A Yumenokei seems at first to make no noise at all, instead being a silent companion which depends more on vauge body language. But with enough attention and affection, these creatures will indeed begin to 'speak' to their owners, little whispering noises like the sounds of a fall breeze, and in the case of extreme happiness, a noise that can only be described as the sound of far-away chimes. Special Care Needs: Once each month, the Yumenokei seem to lose all sense of themselves to their particular auspice in a case of 'moon madness'. At this particular time, the normally peaceful and passive creatures become wild and prone to unusual behavior. For the most part it seems as though nothing at all can be done to stop their frantic urgency to escape the watchful eyes of their owners, and dash off into the night. It is best to simply allow your Yumenokei to go where it will in this stage, for in the morning they will always return to a beloved owner, and the savings you will reap in lack of property damages far outweigh the pain of having to part with your creature for a single night. Each of the breeds falls under a particular auspice, and it is advised to keep track of your calendar. Biology and Anatomy: Yumenokei are spirit-creatures, and generally lack physical anatomy and biology. Behavioral Study: Yumenokei are a strange breed of creature and though their behavior is sometimes unpredictable, it seems to be regulated to the cycles of the moon. When not experiencing ‘Moon Madness’, you can expect these creatures to be loyally beside their owners- or perhaps staying within the homes study. Epithetical creatures at the very basic, these strange spirit-like beings are driven to inspire whomever chooses to share their lives and often-times do so with minimal effort. Though they can be aloof at times, and even rather finicky- they remain soft-tempered. Often uneasy with strangers they prefer a solitary owner and a close-knit bond through which they may inspire, and their master does create. Suggested Uses: Yumenokei have a strong aversion to battle, and a penchant towards creative forces. In such circumstances, it is recommended that one have these creatures as gentle companions and beloved pets, rather than extensively trained beasts of war. Breeds AvailableGengetsu: Aligned with the Crescent Moon.. Playful, energetic, loving and easily distracted. The Gen have mixed genders, depending on the individual - and are usually one of the most highly sought after for pets, for their playful natures. Shingetsu: The Shin's time is the time when the moon's face is covered by darkness. Fiercely loyal, extremely devoted, drawn to those with a high sense of honor and responsibility, is frequently looked upon as a more 'sneaky' breed - as strange as that would seem for such an honorable creature, and is the only one to be prone to defend itself, or its owner upon case of attack. Shin are all male. Bougetsu: Bougetsu, the full moon... Quiet, reserved, gentle and majestic. The Bou are always female, if such an ethereal thing can be female - and the other Yumenokei seem to leave it in general peace, if not follow it around everywhere like lost puppies. Meigetsu: Aligned with the fairly rare Harvest Moon - Wild, prone to sudden moon-madness. Switches between hyperactive and aloof with alarming frequency. Always has an urge to 'do' something. Cyberpunk: Cyberpunk loves to dance, and usually is found in the middle of the night where there is lots of loud music and illegal activities going on. /joke Burumuun: Every once in a while, the blue moon will rise over the ridge of the earth, shining it's rare light upon the land.. This is the time of the Burumuun. Mysterious and discreet, their ways are little known, for their time upon this land is so very fleeting. Pale Moon: In mid-winter, when the frost settles upon the ground, the pale moon may rise - and with it too shall rise the Pale Moon Yumenokei, devoid of color, clear as a ghost, and pure as snow. These rare spirits are sold exclusively at the EA store in the Veil - so you may want to get ahold of one. Ghost Whisper: Only available during November of 09'.

Species Name: Pteropty Species Number: 37 Pronunciation: Pet - er - Opt - E Breeds Available: Seism, Tempest, Veetine VSC Breeds: Spore, Sunburst, Grave Robber Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Albino, Hooded Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Much like the Wiurns, the Pteropty prefer to live around cliffs, and other rocky areas. The young are kept in burrows on the side of cliffs, which later end up becoming well established caves. Diet: Pteropty are generally scavengers, feeding off of long-since dead feasts, but will occasionally hunt, if it doesn't require them to spend too much energy.. mice are often a favorite in their younger stages of life. Call: They make very few noises. When angry they'll snarl but most of the time they're silent. As babies, they call their parents by giving out small squeak-like chirps. Special Care Needs: They need their 'Venom' Milked every two weeks. Or else the venom will clog and it would be very painful for the creature.. Luckily, the Veetine breed doesn't need to worry about this. Special Care Needs: None Biology and Anatomy: Their tails lack fur in general, and are coated in a sticky substance - which is the main source of their venom.. or rather, poison.. be careful, they not only have venomous fangs - but their tails are poisonous to the touch! Behavioral Study: They seem to 'Nest' together to protect their young. But other then that they love their freedom and independence. Suggested Uses: Unknown - they make wonderful pets however, if you can avoid their venom. We suggest investing in anti-venom... In adulthood, they can (barely) carry a rider into the air (but not over land). When carrying a rider in adulthood in the air, they loose half of their speed and agility. Breeds AvailableSeism: The Seism breed is the most commonly known of the Pteropty, as it spends most of it's time on the outsides of cliffs, flittering about whenever possible - and as adults, soaring through the air in search of food. Tempest: The tempest however, is less well-known.. not because it is less common, but rather because they prefer to hide within' their cave-like dwellings, and only come out in search of food. They tend to stay in the darker places, and are more shy of being seen. Veetine: The Veetine is a special breed, in that it completely lacks Venom. Instead, on it's tail, it carries a sticky intoxicating goop - leaving one feeling euphoric Spore: These little Pteropty spent so much time in their cavern dwellings, refusing to come out even to hunt prey, that their diet changed to that of mushrooms and lichen that grows on the cave walls.. The spores of these fungus' fused with their fur, ever changing it.. their venom has also been altered with time, and has more delirium-inducing toxins, rather than deadly... though, with such hungry creatures about, perhaps delerium is just as dangerous. Sunburst: The Sunburst Pteropty is a rather cheerful creature - best associated with the Veetine Pteropty. Graverobber: The Graverobber Pteropty is found.. well, guess where..? In and around graveyards. Albino: The Albino Pteropty is not just albino. It's pygmy. Pygmy is an understatement in fact - they're miniature. At their juvenile stage of life they're about the size of a large rat. When they're full grown, they're said to get no larger than a house-cat. Because of their size difference, Albino Pteropty cannot breed with any non-miniature Pteropty. Also - "Super Rare" is less of an appropriate title.. after all, you can purchase them with credits from the Zoological Imports! Hooded: The Hooded Pteropty is one of the more "common" miniature Pteropty. *see Albino Pteropty* .. As with all Miniature Pteropty, it can only breed with other miniatures. Of course, you could always just buy your own at the Zoological Imports, couldn't you? Luckily, they're a lot cheaper than the Albinos.

Species Name: Majikiuma Species Number: 38 Pronunciation: Ma (as in "mad") - Gee - Key - U - Muh Breeds Available: Msaka, Msungo, Ndume VSC Breeds: Murk Depths Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Maji live in the coldest of climates, usually tundras or polar areas.. As babies, they stay on the snow and ice - but it is said that when they get older, they will become masters of the water. Diet: Majikiuma are entirely carnivores, and as a general rule, will eat anything that they can catch.. and as they are pack hunters, there is little that they cannot "take down".. however, as babies - milk would be the best bet. Call: Maji babies whimper and whine like puppies.. And, when they really want your attentions - they make cute little "barks". Special Care Needs: If you intend on training your Maji early to swim in the water, we'd suggest teaching it with room-temperature water, as they're too young yet to handle colder temperatures of water (it soaks right through their protective fur!). As they get older, into their juvie stage, they can handle cold water for longer periods of time, and often enjoy playing in it. Biology and Anatomy: These 'sea-puppies' are built for life in the chilly waters of northern lands. They have two layers of thick, soft fur. The outer layer consists of long guard hairs that assist in keeping the icy waters from ever actually touching their skin. The inner layer is made up of shorter, warm-and-fuzzy underfluff that keeps the majikiuma relatively warm. In addition to protective fur, all majikiuma build up a sizable layer of body fat right under the skin which also helps to conserve heat. All these heat-conserving characteristics result in a pet that can keep warm in the coldest of waters and turns the majikiuma into one of the most fun-to-hug pets in MML! Behavioral Study: Maji are indeed pack hunters, and live in large prides in the wild. The females (msaka) are the primary hunters, and the most vicious of the prides in the wild. Ndume (males) usually rely on the Msaka for food and safety.. Unless, of course, the male happens to be the most dominant of them - the mighty Msungo. Not even the females can rival with the Msungo! Beware of wild prides of Maji - they surely wouldnt' have any problem in eating you (or your pet). Suggested Uses: Aren't they so cute and fuzzy? Who wouldn't want such a cute pet? Plus - when they get older, they're bound to be one of the best "water guard dogs" you could ever find! Breeds AvailableMsaka: Msaka are all female, and the vicious hunters of the packs. They usually have shorter temperaments - and even shorter temperaments when raising young (best not try to steal a baby!). They are the more serious of the Majikiuma - and tend to be more grumpy by nature.. but don't let that distract you, if you gain their loyalty (and they -are- pack animals), you've got the worlds best aquatic "guard dog". Ndume: Ndume are all male. They generally are more relaxed, and rely on the Msaka for food and safety. They rarely live alone - and often squabble among-st themselves over "breeding rights".. though, the final call is really up the females - who seem to have all the power. They spend most of their day lazying about, and sometimes playing.. and - if they are paired up with a female, it's generally their job to give it lots of love and affection - where-as the females do the more serious teaching, caring, feeding, and protecting of the young. Msungo: Msungo are also all male. Often times, they can live quite peacefully on their own.. they need no females to bring them food or keep them safe. Though, if they get the chance to impress a pride of females, they'll surely take it.. Although Msaka are usually intimidated by Msungo - they still won't let anyone (or anything) push them around. Though, Ndume are usually going to have a lot of problems after that.. Oh, a Msungo usually won't kill them, but they certainly will have quite a few less "privileges" after that. Mighty and Impressive, the Msungo is the most awe-inspiring warrior of the seas - and is often used as a symbol for sailors Murk Depths: This Majikuma is rumored to be able to swim to the deepest part of the ocean when it grows up! Of course, that's probably just hog-wash, after all, it still has to breathe air! It is however, very good at being stealthy in the water.. it's rather hard to see a dark object in the roiling black seas

Species Name: Bwee Species Number: 39 Pronunciation: Buh - Wee Breeds Available: Truffle, Static, Rage VSC Breeds: River, Tapir Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Domestic Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Bwee like warmer climates - anything from 55 F and up.. to help keep themselves cool, they usually take "dust baths". Diet: Bwee are not by any means picky eaters, and will eat anything that is edible, really.. Meat, fish (though they're not good at catching it), carrion, fruit, veggies, tree bark, mushrooms, bugs, etc... If it's not a rock - they'll probably give it a try. Call: Bwee are acutally named after the noise they make - "bwee bwee bweeeee!" Special Care Needs: Bwee are easy to care for, smart - quick to learn, and easy enough to feed. They do however have very sharp tusks when they grow up, which will easily damage a person - so you'd best train yours before it grows too big. The quills on a Bwee's back however - (hard and sharpened hairs, like that of a procupine) should be something you avoid.. a loyal Bwee's owner may find that they are soft to pet, but a stranger would find a handful of foot long quills sticking into their skin. Biology and Anatomy: These small pig like creatures have spikes along their body in the same manner as a porcupine would. They use their spikes along their body to defend themselves from opponents. They all have skilled scenting, and they are often used to scent out truffles for their owners. These small but powerful creatures are great family pets, truffle finders, and and the Rage breed is a very talented fighter. At the baby stage, sure, they are decently strong, but it is not recommended at all for you to fight with them, though you could use them to find truffles for you, they'd sure love that. Behavioral Study: Bwee can live in social groups - but fair well on their own as well. They generally take good care of their own young (sporting rather large litters), and are even known to take care of young of other animals as well!... Though, you should probably not try to introduce young animals to them without extreme supervision - they will eat almost anything, after all... Suggested Uses: Bwee (the truffle especially) are very good at finding food, roots, or.. well - anything you want hidden beneath the earth... But what most people unfortunately use them for is for fighting. Though they can make good guard companions - for some reason, people feel the need to pit them, rather than train them well enough to be a companion. Breeds AvailableTruffle: Truffle Bwee are the most sweet, docile, and friendly of all the Bwee.. But, keep a wary eye - they still will have sharp tusks when growing up.. They are so named after their ability to easily locate Truffles (mushrooms) hidden beneath the leaves and dirt. Static: Guess why the Static bwee was named so..? Yeah, you guessed it.. for some reason, the quills on the back of the Static bwee can easily carry an electrical charge - and they do so.. Though the Static Bwee can control it - you'd best be cautious when handling yours (or a stranger's). Rage: The Rage Bwee is by far the most difficult to train, and a favorite of the "pitters".. They are short tempered, and though they get along well with other Bwee - they generally don't get along with other species. They're quite territorial and pushy... and have a habit of fighting beyond the brink of death. Tapir: The Tapir Bwee is very similar to the Truffle Bwee, except for it's unique coloration. River: The River Bwee, as it's name suggests, lives in the muddy beds of rivers. It is not however, what you would call an excellent swimmer - though it usually does know how. Instead, it prefers to eat the grubs that hide along the banks. Domestic: The Domestic Breed was commissioned and mass-purchased by the Zoological Import store, and as they hold the rights to the breed - they also hold the rights to sell it, which they do... Want to buy one from them?

Species Name: Chelcauda Species Number: 40 Pronunciation: Shell - Cow - Dah Breeds Available: Baenarch, Castanea, Chlorderm VSC Breeds: Stoneskin Feral Breeds: Brindle Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Varies by breed - see breed differences below. Diet: Chelcauda eat fish (which are devoured whole), and other small animals (which are not).. They are completely carnivorous - but will sway toward scavenging, if there is not enough fish to be found. Call: The baby Chelcauda chirp and chitter.. but, as the species grows, it is known that they have many particular (and easy to read) vocalizations.. A high-pitched shriek is considered a challenge, where-as a deep throat-ed gurgling noise is affectionate. A muted hiss (plus the waving of the tail) is to serve as a warning - and after they win a battle (or take down prey that is not fish), they always have the desire to let out a mighty roar. Special Care Needs: The baby Chelcauda are quite chubby to resist the cold.. However, this means that they need to be kept in cool areas, or they may suffer a heat stroke. It may also be suggested to keep an eye on them when let outdoors, due to their very young age they are quite curious and ignorant of dangers at first. Biology and Anatomy: Although all Chelcauda are cold-blooded, they are not considered to be reptiles. Although the Chelcauda are (usually) territorial - they seem to prefer to intimidate rather than fight, and thus, they have vibrantly colored neck frills, which they use to frighten off foes. As an interesting tidbit, their tail is not only used as a mighty "club", but also doubles as a "rattler"! Though Chelcaudas eat primarily fish, they aren't fast of swimmers, and they aren't too wonderful at running either.. their strategy for catching prey would rather be "stalking", which they (along with tracking) are experts at... especially with their thermal sensors on their jaws. Behavioral Study: In the wild, it is uncommon to see two or more Chelcaudi moving together as a ’pack’, due to them being solitary. Even when born as siblings, the parent usually drives the siblings out into the world at separate times. However, should that not take place, the siblings may travel and hunt together for a while, forming a protective bond between one and another. The ’domestic’ (lab-made) variants of the Chelcaudi are assured to not drive away any young they may have due to changed genetics, instead the drive being replaced with a sense of competitiveness among the young. This reflects early on in games for power and play fights, where usually one of the siblings gains certain influence over the others in such a manner. Suggested Uses: Although their adult stage would be certainly large enough to carry a rider, they cannot due to their spinal spades.. they can however, be used to carry loads of heavy objects, if properly equipped.. The good trainer however, finds that they make excellent trackers... and these creatures are most certainly "battle ready". Luckily (or unluckily) Chelcaudas are always protective of something.. be it a territory or a mate.. if one is raised from a baby, a lucky (or talented) owner can re-direct that "protecting need" toward himself, which makes an excellent and loyal "guard dog". Breeds AvailableCastanea: Inhabiting the more artic and snowy areas, the Castanea is also the largest of the breeds. Having adapted almost completely to the harsh conditions set before them, they've taken on an unusual coloration - resembling snow covered patches of grass. They prefer snow-covered mountain regions, and are (due to the efforts of the labs to make a successful breed) the only warm-blooded Chelcauda. Chlorderm: Prefers mild and warm climate, sub-tropical and heavily forested areas. Chlorderm are often regarded to be the smallest of the Chelcauda. They travel south where the weather is warmer during the winter when it's too cold in the northern areas. During the summer, they return north to the temperate climate woods when it becomes too warm in the south. A normal temperature for them is in the 20 degrees C range. Due to their migrating habits, they are not very territorial and hence are more placid than the other breeds. Baenarch: The Baenarch is the reason that this species is available at the labs today.. They were believed to have been an extinct species (due to there being only fossils found), until a clutch of eggs was found at the base of a volcanic isle in the middle of the ocean.. These eggs were the foundation of the new genetics of the rest of the breeds, which you see today. The Baenarch breed that was adopted out at the labs were direct clones of the original eggs (which are in cryo-stasis). For some reason, this particular breed (though cold-blooded) is always warm to the touch - and they never need sleep. Stoneskin: The Stoneskin Chelcauda does not actually have "skin of stone". It is instead named such because of the coloring of it's hide. Of course, it's hide is a little thicker than the other Chelcauda's... Brindle: The Brindle Chelcauda was an attempt on behalf of the labs to "bring back" the species in the wilds. They were released far to the south at a "testing facility" - isolated from the rest of the world... Or were they..?

Species Name: Felusine Species Number: 41 Pronunciation: Fell - Loose - Eye - n Breeds Available: Mocha, Tawny, Silver, Snow VSC Breeds: Calico, Marked, Runic Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Festival Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Felusine primarily live in forested areas - and most breeds prefer temperate climates (with the exception of the snow). If it's comfortable for a human to live in, then the Felusine just may be there, as long as there are enough trees. They do not fear open spaces however, and will travel across them - but they do not usually dwell there. Diet: Felusine's diet is strictly carnivorous.. They eat small rodents and birds, small mammals (like rabbits), and occasionally larger mammals, like baby deer - but never any prey larger than that. On rare occasion, they can be seen eating grass or berries - but that is just to help move along their digestive system, or for extra nutrients. Call: The Felusine make many noises that can be heard from dogs, cats, and foxes alike.. They "cat growl" when angry, "hiss" when afraid, "howl" to communicate through long distances, "Yip" when playing, "whimper" when sad... The only thing they don't seem to do, is bark.. Although, I'm sure it's not impossible. Special Care Needs: None.. If you can care for a dog or cat, you can care for a Felusine. Biology and Anatomy: The Felusine primarily live on the ground, but are perfectly capable of climbing trees (like a civet). They use their long furry tails to curl around themselves during the colder weather, and their hearing and vision are both excellent (not to mention their sense of smell!).. The most remarkable thing about the Felusine however, has to be their feet. Their feet do not have "paws", nor do they have "fingers", but rather a strange mixture of the two.. Primitive hands with no opposable thumbs.. this allows the Felusine to crudely pick up items with it's "pads", and manipulate them in very simple ways. A last note, is that Felusine are ridiculously clever, and easy problem solvers - rivaling both ferrets and many varieties of monkey. Suggested Uses: Yet another "perfect companion".. though perhaps not as good of a "guard dog" as a vulticus, who's bite is much more severe, these creatures will loyally defend their owner - if they're properly trained. They're clever enough to learn easily, and are fluffy enough to earn a petting or two. They're just in general good companions. Breeds AvailableTawny: The Tawny is considered one of the more "simple" breeds, and is usually seen in the most comfortable of human temperatures (in the 70's of F). Silver: The Silver is, for all intents and purposes, just the same as the Tawny - but with much more beautiful fur... Unfortunately, the beauty of their fur is also their downside, as they are frequently hunted for it. Snow: The Snow is the only breed that can be seen in colder climates.. they can be perfectly comfortable in weather about 60 F, but can easily enough survive their entire lives in the snow-laden pine forests of the north. Calico: Calico is just like the Tawny! Only.. calico? Marked: The Marked Felusine is said to be "marked" with the gift of thought.. I wonder what that means? Runic: The Runic Felusine is not only frequently hunted for it's magnificent "glowing" pelt, but it also has the ability to touch the realm of magic! Festival: The Festival Felusine was only available for purchase during December of 2008.. Were you lucky enough to get one?

Species Name: Vespa Species Number: 42 Pronunciation: Ves (like vest) - Pa (like pa-pa) Breeds Available: Amber, Amethyst, Ruby VSC Breeds: None Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Emerald, Sapphire, Onyx, Moonstone Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Vespa usually are seen in the great wooded mountains of the north (where their prey is primarily abundant) - but it is rumored that some variety are found in the dense jungles of the south - and few still are found nested within' the canyon walls of the deserts in the west. Diet: Vespa are often called "Dragon-Eaters", and their diet is (obviously) rumored to be.. dragons. Surely, a little worm such as this (which only seems to really eat bugs) would not be a "dragon-eater". Call: Trills and Chitters mostly, at least when they're worms. They make noises rarely however - and they are often strange, and difficult to translate into "happy" and "sad" (as you would be able to do with a purr or hiss). Special Care Needs: Parent vespa take very good care of their young - and as such, they generally need caring for (though no more than a puppy, in fact - probably less). Biology and Anatomy: Vespa are extra-ordinarily agile flying creatures - and fast too. When they grow up, it's said that they are large enough to carry a rider, and beautiful enough to attract any dragon. Their sting is perhaps the most deadly part of them (as their bite isn't that powerful).. Their sting carries a toxin that will take effect in a matter of seconds, and temporarily paralyze their victim for two minutes.... This is not strong enough of an effect to kill a human (or even a dog, for that matter) - but a dragon..? Can you imagine the terrible effect of being paralyzed in mid-flight, half a mile in the air..? Behavioral Study: Vespa have extraordinarily good eye-sight, better they say than that of a hawk. As such, their beautiful gem-like eyes should be protected, and they spend a good part of their day using their arm-like appendages to clean them and their short antennae. Suggested Uses: Do not be fooled by the gem-like appearance of their eyes - they are not gems, and are not valuable. Their value is only present when they are alive and healthy - which is probably why they have been surviving so well. We're not sure why you'd want a worm.. a "dragon-eating" worm no less.. which... doesn't eat dragons. O. o BreedsAmber: If there would be a "standard" breed of Vespa, the Amber would be it. They are by far the hardiest of the Vespa breeds produced in the labs for the public, and can go much longer between meals than the regular breeds. They seem to be the only breed able to live in such arid climates as the deserts - but do not prefer it. Ruby: Ruby could also be considered a "standard" breed - it is the breed that is seen in the wooded mountainous regions. Anywhere there is both large rocky areas and plenty of trees to hide in, the Ruby Vespa will probably make it's home. Amethyst: Though Amethyst is a "standard" breed - it is considered by many to be the "royal" breed - having the royal colors of "royale" (purple) and "gold" (yellow). The knights of Genevi have all been provided with a "royal" Vespa as a pet or companion, and thus they are now retired - as they were all taken by not only the Knights, but the public. Emerald: The Emerald Vespa used to be a simple VSC - but once it reached it's cocoon stage, it was no longer available for purchase.. did you manage to get one before they became super-rare? Sapphire: The Sapphire Vespa used to be a simple VSC - but once it reached it's cocoon stage, it was no longer available for purchase.. did you manage to get one before they became super-rare? Onyx: When the Vespa were still eggs, these rare Vespa were able to be mined from the mines.. These cave-dwelling vespa are indeed rather special.. did you manage to dig one up? Moonstone: This Vespa is only able to be purchased by the greatest of Arena Champions... Can you climb to the top?

Species Name: Puff Rayzor Species Number: 43 Pronunciation: Puff - Razor Breeds Available: Azuline, Cardinal, Xanthic VSC Breeds: Albino, Dark Feral Breeds: Treebark Super-Rare Breeds: Columbine Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Puff Rayzors always live in semi-tropical environments.. It must be hot where they live, usually 75-110 F.. Humidity is optional, but remember that these creatures cannot live without water, and must drink frequently enough.. One often finds them in jungles, rain forests, and hot woodlands. They live in trees. Diet: Omnivores, these creatures are fairly opportunistic eaters.. Bugs, small birds, berries... They will eat anything that is "edible", with the exception of nuts (as they don't know how to break through the hard shells). They will however, scavenge - though never carcasses, instead, they'll gladly dig through your trash - so be wary! Call: Small squeaks and chitters, to screaming calls and hisses, these are all the sounds a puff rayzor makes.. One has never heard them growl or bark, but "Ook ook" is a sound that ranges closely enough. Special Care Needs: The silky fur of a Puff Rayzor must be groomed on a frequent basis, or mats will start to present themselves. One should also devote at least 3 hours per day with their Puff Rayzor to prevent it from getting bored or lonely, or at least find it a companion to play with. We also suggest you keep in mind the "rayzor" in their name, and though they are fluffy, that "crest" on the top of their head is sharp! Biology and Anatomy: The first unique thing about their anatomy is the reason that their name has "Puff" in it.. Their twin tail-tips explode in a large fluffy ball when they are happy. It's entirely harmless, but a rather grand (and soft) display of fluff in a vibrant color that matches their crest. The unique trait that should be noted about the Puff Rayzor is it's vibrant crest.. This crest acts as a warning to all predators that "danger, I'm poisonous!".. not only is the Puff Rayzor venomous, but it's crest is quite sharp, like the fin of some fish, so watch your fingers! Luckily, the crest can raise and fall (according to mood) much like a cockatoo, so petting them when they're happy is easy. Behavioral Study: There are a few odd behaviors that one should note about the Puff Rayzor. The first is their nesting habit.. The parents will hollow out a large toxic fruit and allow their infants to grow inside (much like a kangaroo in a pouch). By the time the infants are ready to leave the fruit (and have eaten their way out of it), their fangs are quite venomous. Suggested Uses: Puff Rayzors are entirely companion animals... Perfect for sitting on your shoulder, or lounging in your lap. They also are highly trainable and intelligent... For an animal. BreedsAzuline: The Azuline gets it's name from the bright blue fur that it has. It's crest is vibrant orange. Other than fur color, there doesn't seem to be a difference between it and it's fellow Puff Rayzors. Cardinal: Cardinal is a shade of red.. and like the name of the color, the Cardinal Puff Rayzor matches! It's crest is a bright green, which matches the glossy leaves where it lives. Xanthic: The Xanthic is the "golden" Puff Rayzor.. Though in reality, it's just "yellow", people seem to hold it and it's royal purple crest in some sort of higher light, and have adopted them all out. Albino: The Albino is only unique in that it lacks pigments. This makes it's skin and eyes much more sensitive to the sunlight, but also makes it very rare and highly prized. Dark: The Dark, unlike it's name - is generally a sweetheart. It's favorite food for some reason is honey, but.. as honey isn't exactly the most healthy of foods, it should be given in moderation. Treebark: Found in wooded areas, usually in warmer climates. Columbine: This little Puff Rayzor was part of a special set during April Fools of 09'. We're terribly sorry if you missed out on getting one of these super-limited creatures.

Species Name: Snorfle Species Number: 44 Pronunciation: Snore - Full Breeds Available: Bubblegum, Caramel, CottonCandy, Leche VSC Breeds: Giant Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Snofle are perfectly willing to live anywhere they can find an easy source of water, and plenty of fruitful bushes to eat... Where there is no bushes or water, they will not be found. Jungles are the most common of places, but they have no problems living in "regular" forests, or even the outskirts of them - along fields and open plains. Occasionally, a family of Snorfle can be seen crossing the desert - either because they know where the food is hiding, or they're just passing through to greener lands. Diet: Snorfle are fairly squat creatures, and they eat fruit and berries.. Luckily, they can use their fairly long and agile nose to pluck tasty treats off of the taller areas of the bushes. On occasion, they will eat tender or sweet leaves as well - but berries and fruit seem to be their main diet. Call: They "snuffle" when they're happy, "squeal" when they're afraid, and "trumpet" when they're angry (or trying to call other snorfle to their assistance)... On rare occasion, one can hear a low rumbling (fairly quiet) growl coming from them - but nobody knows what that stands for yet. Special Care Needs: Snorfle always need something to do.. whether it's the owner spending time playing with them, or just giving the little critter plenty of balls to pick up with it's nose and toss around - it needs "stuff to do", so be sure to provide it! Biology and Anatomy: A snorfle not only has a great deal of fat to help it deal with the more extreme temperatures of the world - it helps it swim! These fat little creatures are very good swimmers - and their large ears can swivel in nearly any direction, giving it excellent hearing. It's sense of smell is also extraordinary - and it's nose is rather prehensile. Their large middle claw is not designed for either attack nor defense, but rather for "digging out" small pits to lay in during the heat of the day. Behavioral Study: Snorfle live in small family groups - ranging in members from 2 to 6.. Usually the family group consists of the mother, father, and their offspring until they are ready to find their own mates... Though snorfle do not mate for life, the male will always stay with the female until the babies are ready to leave the mother - at which time, the male either leaves also, or produces another litter, and thus stays even longer with the female. Suggested Uses: Snorfle, though a common prey animal, are rather curious and intelligent creatures - and enjoy a good romp. Many people find the Snorfle to be a restful companion - and something of an "alarm system" - as their large ears can easily detect predators - and they'll be more than willing to squeal for their owner to come save them from the big scary whatever. BreedsLeche: A white Snorfle? You bet! These cute little creatures prefer to live in the shade, so either keep them in it, or provide their fur-less skin some sun protection with sun-screen! CottonCandy: The CottonCandy Snorfle is no different really from the Bubblegum, but for some reason it's special color didn't catch on quite as well. Caramel: Caramel is by far to be considered the most "standard" color of Snorfle Bubblegum: It is the dream of many-a-child to own their very own pet Pink Snofle.. and because of the "spazzing" of parents to get a hold of one for their child's early birthday, they are unfortunately all adopted out. Giant: The Giant Snorfle is much larger than their "normal" cousins - so much larger in fact, that in adulthood, they could actually carry a rider! Too bad it's coloring however, is quite dull...

Species Name: Lamadidron Species Number: 45 Pronunciation: Lamb - uh - Dee - Dron (like "fawn" with a "d") Breeds Available: Stonemoss, Core, Glacier, Copper VSC Breeds: Atomic, Peackock Ore, Luster Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Varies by Breed - see Breed differences below. Diet: These strange creatures seem to have a diet that consists entirely of stone.. their favored "flavor" of stone however, varies from breed to breed. Call: Lamadidron have a song that could remind one of a swan. Special Care Needs: Generally, Lamadidron have no special care needs.. but some breeds are more "delicate" than others, so be sure to read the breed differences below. Biology and Anatomy: Lamadidron have "oozy" or "slimy" skin, with large hard knots and bumps resembling solid dried stone speckled throughout their bodies. This "ooze" constantly seems to change, and often times glow - it's temperature varies from breed to breed. If the creatures' skin ever dries out and becomes hard, it will crack - and the creature will surely die.. Luckily, this happens only rarely - usually when it's extremely ill or old. Behavioral Study: The Lamadidron are generally patient and solitary creatures. Though they are not usually aggressive to others of the same species - they do prefer their "space". Suggested Uses: For those who are seeking a more "elementally inclined" traveling pet - the Lamadidron may be for you.. it's fairly smart - and can learn quickly enough - but "quiet" and sometimes "stubborn". BreedsStonemoss: The stonemoss has no temperature requirements - and to the touch it is the temperature of the air around it... If you leave it on a heating pad, it may stay warm for a while - but for the most part, it's "room temperature". This particular Lamadidron can (and does) grow moss on it's "stoney" skin, and it's diet is any sort of rock at all.. be careful not to feed it metals - as this upsets it's stomach! The stonemoss is the only Lamadidron to live in grassy or forested knolls. Glacier: The glacier breed is quite cool to the touch, verging on cold. It eats stones that are only cold - so keeping an ample supply of river stones in your fridge may be a good idea. Also - a good treat is to put sand with water in your ice-cube tray - and feeding "frozen sand blocks" as snacks... they love to munch on ice, but ice itself has no mineral value for them. The Glacier cannot survive the hot summers - and should not be kept in any temperature above 75 (f) degrees at any time. The glacier usually lives.. well.. where it's cold - and there is a lot of ice. Copper: The copper breed is quite odd to the touch.. when you touch it's skin - your hair stands on end! Luckily, this does not electrocute you - but we suggest you don't touch anything metal for the next hour, or you'll get zapped every time! The copper breed has a fairly specialized diet, as it only eats .. well.. copper. Though you could get copper in it's rawest form, pennies would do just fine. The copper prefers to live in the desert, but is perfectly happy to live within' caves. Core: The core breed is burning hot to the touch (unless you touch it's "stones") - so we suggest gloves. It prefers to eat pumice or lava stones (the spongy kind) - or can even settle for nibbling up ash. The core breed must be kept at a temperature of no less than 75 (f) degrees at all times - it cannot possibly survive the winter.. when sleeping, we suggest a warming pad. The core lives in regions where there are plenty of active volcanoes. Atomic: The atomic comes from the moon (or some other far-off planet.. at any rate, it landed here on a meteor... er.. um.. the labs made them? Oh, I don't know!)... no really, it does.. and.. um.. don't touch it.. Seriously. We don't know what they eat either.. moon rocks? Good luck finding those.. well, they seem to like bananas. Luster: The Luster breed is a creature of entirely precious gems and minerals.. silver, gold, crystal, and diamond. They eat precious gems (only) - so they're a rather expensive creature to keep.. I suppose you could always have it as your companion for mining, I'm sure it wouldn't mind. Peacock Ore: The Peacock Ore Lamadidron isn't that much different from the Luster.. except that they will be just happy enough to eat semi-precious stones, rather than precious - so though they're still "high maintenance", they're a lot cheaper to keep.

Species Name: Floof (often called "Air Skates") Species Number: 46 Pronunciation: Floof? Breeds Available: Cirrus, Daybreak, Nimbus VSC Breeds: None Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Floof live in the sky. They very rarely have need to land, and tend to only do so when they are breeding... When they do "land" for breeding, they prefer to be up high, and nest in trees. Diet: Floof filter food out of dust particles in the air, much as a whale filters krill... When food is scarce, or when nesting, they will "scrape" lichen off of trees. Some owners can provide supplementary food of various lichens. Feeding them though, is luckily not only very easy, but hypoallergenic.. after all, they'll gladly sift all the dust, mold, spores, and pollen out of your home. Call: Floof have no need to communicate with their sounds, and generally are not heard with ears. They -can- make a very faint and musical "humming" sound, but again - it's rarely heard. Instead, they communicate with their extremely sensitive antennae, which are capable of connecting to other Air Skates - and can allow them a wonderful connection with their owners, often refereed to as an "Empathetic Link". Special Care Needs: Floof are very delicate creatures, and one should be careful not to damage their fragile bones. Granted, they don't have a lot of bones, but they do have them. The most sensitive part of their body is their antennae, which are not only sensitive to "mind energies", and "static electricity", but also sensitive to the touch, and can be easily harmed. Biology and Anatomy: A Floof is a creature of "strange anatomy". They lack hard bones within' their body - but rather contain a lot of cartilage. Their digestive systems is more of a "filter" system - and their bodies also have tendrils of bioluminescence (which is clearly not for communication or attracting prey, so it's function is unknown). Within' their bodies, their main organ system is their "air sac" - a series of gas-producing pouches that help keep the animal afloat, even when it sleeps. Behavioral Study: Floof in the wild would be seen floating through the sky like "angels" or even "ghosts" as some people would call them. They're surprisingly light - and while an adult Floof would get to be the length that a man is tall, they'd only weigh about 15 pounds at that size! They're rather social creatures, and "float" in packs.. Though "pack" is loosely structured, as they could happily be "near" their pack-mates when they're a half-mile away. Their empathetic connection is so strong, that they can "feel" other Floof in a 10 mile radius.. thus, what THEY think is a tightly-knit pack, a human may not even be able to see. Suggested Uses: Floof are restful companion animals. They're also good for filtering the air of allergens, and to a gentle and loving owner, they'd gladly land every night to "be a soft and warm blanket". They can be "used" as a cloak, for the owner who's gotten their Floof to trust them the most, as landed is when a floof feels most vulnerable. If you're a good owner, you could have a floating, empathetic, loving furry blanket! At the base of their tail is bioluminescent tendrils that constantly glow - and can even shine quite brightly at certain times (like when attracting a mate, or on command, if it's trained).. so some people keep them as mobile light sources. BreedsCirrus: The Cirrus is no more common than the Nimbus, but it is the most commonly seen simply because of it's habits. They migrate to the "clearer" part of the skies, where the fewer clouds, the better. They love the daylight, and prefer to nest at night where they can't be easily seen by preying Nimbus Izers. Nimbus: The Nimbus doesn't mind "floating while it sleeps", nor does it mind dark and stormy clouds. They pay no mind to lightning, and it's rumored that they're immune to it. They avoid bright lights, and prefer to stay hidden within' a cloud, rather than in the open sky... thus, why they're rarely seen. Daybreak: The Daybreak is a strange (and colorful) mixture of Nimbus and Cirrus in it's habits. During the Sunrise and Sunset, when the sky is "on fire" with color and light, they flit around in a merry manner, happy to expose themselves. However, during any other time of the day (or night) they prefer to fly slowly within' the safety and cover of a cloud to avoid being seen. They prefer times when daylight is visible though, and are much more shy at night.

Species Name: Scuta Species Number: 47 Pronunciation: Sk-OO-Tuh (as in "tub") Breeds Available: Glacier, Juggernaut, Sandstorm, Shrubbery VSC Breeds: Outback, Phase Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: The Scuta usually live in more "arid" environments. That does not mean they live only in deserts (though some breeds prefer to), but rather, they tend to live in "scrub" environments... The kind where water is not always easy to come by, but sharp trees and bushes can still grow. Diet: Scuta usually eat a strict diet of bugs. That aside, it's not unheard of for them to lap up milk, munch on berries, or steal a person's steak off their dinner-plate. Call: They mew, and purr, and hiss - just like a kitten. Special Care Needs: Though the scuta are generally solitary creatures, they do enjoy company. Confused? Think of a kitten. Cats are naturally solitary creatures, but for the most part, a kitten that is raised properly will seek out human attention like a bug to a lantern. Because they like to curl into a ball - or rather, because they feel the need to when frightened, be sure not to get your hand caught "in" them when they do it - you may loose your hand.. Not even a crowbar can get them to uncurl unless they want to! Biology and Anatomy: If a Scuta were to curl into a ball, wrapping it's thick tail around it's exposed parts (which it does often) - it's hard scales are nearly impossible to penetrate. Not even a full-grown Balgor can bite it's way into the Scuta's defense, which is just as well. A Scuta's underbelly however is extremely soft and fluffy - not many people get to find this out though, as a Scuta is very protective of it's belly. It's limbs are not only very strong for digging, but they're also quite agile for climbing as well. Many breeds climb through their entire lives, while some grow so bulky that they are forced to stay on the ground. Behavioral Study: These creatures are generally considered "cowards" - though that's hardly the most accurate word used to describe them. It is true, that at the first sign of trouble, they will happily curl into a ball, and stay that way for hours if need be, to make sure the danger is gone. Unless of course, it is easier to duck into it's burrow underground, or climb the nearest tree. Suggested Uses: Although it would be a rather difficult thing to do, a good trainer would be able to teach their Scuta to "not be a coward". As such, they'd have an extremely hardy companion - with a very strong and thick tail for "smacking some sense" into people. If one were not afraid of anything, could you imagine how hard it would be to pick a fight with a Juggernaut Scuta, who's scales are harder than steel? BreedsSandstorm: Sandstorm really does like to live in deserts. Though they never truly loose their ability to climb trees, most of them are so out of practice because where they prefer to live .. there usually isn't a lot of trees to climb. They do, of course, excel at digging burrows. Shrubbery: The Shrubbery gets it's name for where it is most commonly found. It is rare to find one burrowed beneath the earth, but rather - look up! Or.. sideways? They sleep in the highest trees, but usually forage for bugs along the lower bushes. Glacier: Glaicer is not found in the middle of the water, floating on a giant chunk of ice.. But rather, the glacier is found in the "frozen deserts".. the Tundras. They can tolerate extremely cold temperatures, and generally don't like to live where it's warmer. Was that chunk of ice moving? Juggernaut: Where the other Scuta's scales are hard as stone, the Juggernaut's scales are harder than steel. Truly. They have a hard time (because of their weight and bulk) climbing trees, and as they age - they do so less often. They are good at digging burrows, but you can usually find them sleeping on flat ground, curled into a ball.. Why bother digging a burrow, when nothing can harm you in ball-form? Outback: The outback Scuta not only has a very... very weirdly shaped "nose" (which seems to be like a long tube with a tiny mouth at the end), but it also has little thorns in between each of it's scales! Ouch! Phase: The Phase Scuta is capable of not only changing it's own body color like a chameleon to "blend in" to it's surroundings, but can also bend light to make it almost literally "disappear"!

Species Name: Balgor Species Number: 48 Pronunciation: B-hal-Gore Breeds Available: Crimson, Tawny, Miasma, Temblor VSC Breeds: Tsavo Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: Spectral Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: They enjoy living in wide open spaces, but often "den" underground to keep cool. The place they feel most comfortable is on a mountain-top overlooking a great plain, where they can hunt below. They have no problems in dealing with the heat of the day on the plains, nor do they have a problem surviving a cold evening where frost covers the ground. Diet: Strictly carnivorous. They eat anything small enough for them to catch. As young creatures, they start with what their parents bring them - but as they get older, they begin to catch things like wild equillion. Call: When they're young, they only seem to make a pathetic "Mrrowl!" When they are older however, they are renowned for their vicious sounding roars, which can be heard for miles. Special Care Needs: Their fur should be brushed at least once a week. You should also provide them with a lot of "stuff" to do to keep them occupied, or their habits may turn to the more destructive. One saying that is quickly catching on for this species is; "Befriend the valiant Balgor, or fear his terrible fang." Biology and Anatomy: These creatures generally have thin and whispy fur. Around their necks and heads, their fur thickens to protect their vitals (chest, neck, head). Their tail is also quite thick in their fur, which they use to wrap around their bodies to keep warm. Their claws are not large compared to cats, and in fact, their claws can best be considered akin to a dogs'. The most noticeable, and common thing to note about a balgor though, is their Fangs. Their "fangs" (which grow in as they mature) are actually tusks. These tusks are used as the Balgor swings it's head from side to side, to damage foes that may be attacking from the side, or behind. Attack a Balgor from the front, tend to it's teeth. Attack a Balgor from the side, tend to it's tusks. Attack a Balgor at all, and you'll still have to work your way through their thick manes. Behavioral Study: These creatures are generally solitary, unless they find a mate. They do, after all, mate for life. There is no visual difference between a male and female balgor - as they both sport manes, thick tails, and "fangs". They live alone, hunt alone, and sleep alone. When they do find a suitable mate however, they life, hunt, and sleep together to raise the babies. When the babies are mature enough to leave home, they go their separate ways. The parents' however, will remain together forever. In training a Balgor, the owner generally "replaces" this need - making a wonderful and loyal partner for life. Suggested Uses: These creatures are wonderful guardian companions. Treat them with love and respect, and you'll have a marvelous and valiant beast by your side. Ignore them, and you may be eaten. BreedsCrimson: The Crimson breed is a rather special creature, and by far one of the most popular to this date. It's blue eyes make it very attractive, as does it's striking red fur. It's true charm however, comes with the fact that within' it lives the spirit of Fire. Tawny: Tawny is by far the most common (and least desired) of the breeds. It lacks any connection to the elements, and was the first to make it's way into the wilds. Sadly, it is not uncommon to see a Tawny Balgor tethered to the end of a chain in somebody's yard to guard their house. Poor creatures. Temblor: The Temblor has a magnificent coat, and is sadly poached for it. This creature is the most majestic of the Balgor, with a lot less hunting instincts, and more "family" instincts... Though never assume it is friendly by nature! These creatures make the "best" guardians, according to the opinions of some, and within' it's heart is Purity. Miasma: Many would consider the Miasma breed to be the "corrupt" breed, but this is simply not so. Just as a skunk uses noxious chemicals to defend itself when in danger, so does the Miasma.. Except the Miasma's chemicals have much more... deadly.. effects. Tsavo: The Tsavo is the "corrupt" breed of Balgor, and is a true man-eater, as can be clearly seen by it's blood-red eyes. Of course, like any Balgor, with proper training they can be wonderful guardians.. but... Would you be willing to take that risk? Spectral: The Specter Balgor was only available for purchase before they hatched.. Since January 1st, 2009 - they've not been available. These Balgor are "ethereal" .. truly magical creatures. Many people call them "ghost balgor".

Species Name: Enileaf Species Number: 49 Pronunciation: En (like end) - eh - Leaf Breeds Available: Honeysuckle, Lunar, Radiant VSC Breeds: Eclipsion, Powderpuff, Taro, Bobtail Feral Breeds: Stray Super-Rare Breeds: Kalavan's Treat Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: The Enileaf are generally considered mystical creatures, and whatever forest they live in becomes enchanted.. of course, that's only a consideration - a honeysuckle enileaf, for example, cannot make the flowers bloom! They will live anywhere there is the companionship of a "person", be that person a human, fae, or demon. Diet: They are carnivorous, and will eat anything they can catch with ease.. usually this is bugs, mice, and small birds. Call: They sound just like cats and kittens! Special Care Needs: Their fur is quite thick and silky, and you should help brush it at least once per week to help keep it from matting. Biology and Anatomy: At first glance, these creatures look like nothing more than little kittens - but do not let them fool you! The only noticeable difference between they and kittens are their 'eyebrow whiskers", which are much thicker and longer than that of a normal kitten. These will come in very handy for sensing the delicate shifts in wind when they grow up and acquire their wings. Their "wings" are actually individual digits (or "fingers") that stick out of it's back and tail at various locations, with extra skin stretching between them, similar to a bat's wing. Covering these digits and membranes are downy feathers - giving them the appearance of "feathered bat-wings", and sometimes at first glance "many birdwings". Behavioral Study: Their favorite place to be is around a chosen person. This may be a person of either good or evil, but as it stands, they generally don't "group up" other than a single individual. Rumors speak of them enchanting forest groves, and making them magical, but it has never been proven. As far as choosing mates go, these creatures usually only choose a mate that is owned by "their person", and hardly ever share affection with them - instead, they produce kittens, raise them together (with their owners' help), and casually give each other plenty of room... Staying "aloof". With their owners, they are anything but aloof, and are the most affectionate, helpful, and clever of small companions.. As kittens, of course, they're just playful little kittens... Have a string anyone? Suggested Uses: Familiars, companions.. think of them as you will - just don't have any illusions of battling them, they're rather fragile. BreedsHoneysuckle: The Honeysuckle is a playful breed, and certainly the most colorful. They are so named for their vibrant fur, as is a honeysuckle flower. They enjoy people with energy, and tend to get in all matters of trouble themselves. Lunar: The Lunar Enileaf is one of the two more common breeds (honeysuckle being the other), and is so named because of it's tendency to prefer the night... Also, it's fur is a slate-blue, like the dusk it so dearly loves. It has no preference for people that it prefers to make companions with, and is generally more placid and observant than the playful and energetic honeysuckle. Radiant: The Radiant is said to be kissed by the sun - and it's fur shows a certain... hint of it. Almost pure white, with hints of light gold shimmering in their guard-hairs. These creatures prefer to be around during the daytime, and rarely "choose" a person of evil nature as their companion. Eclipsion: Wizards and Evil folk alike seek out the Eclipsion Enileaf for the powers that it is rumored to contain... Of course, collectors of the rare and beautiful also seek it out for it's remarkable star-splattered coat. Stray: Stray... what more can one say..? Powderpuff: The Powderpuff is soft, sweet, and floppy. It cannot survive in the wild, and doesn't mind the company of their "chosen" companion.. in fact, they enjoy company of many people - more than just their companion. They're super affectionate and fuzzy, and "flop" at the first sign of danger.. or belly-rubs. Taro: The Taro is much larger than the other breeds - twice as large in fact! It acts similarly to the Powderpuff, only it's afraid of strangers (and would rather prefer it's companion). Bobtail: Though it's coloring is quite unique, I wonder if it's tail will end up matching it's name as it grows older...? Kalavan's Treat: Aaaw, it's Kalavan's personal Enileaf kitten dressed up as a widdle pirate! Complete with a dead parrot! Kalavan's Treat (kitten) will never grow. And it was available during the Vai Min Mur celebration of October 09'.

Species Name: Murp Species Number: 50 Pronunciation: Murr-P! Breeds Available: Black, White, Brown, Strawberry VSC Breeds: Polyester Feral Breeds: None Super-Rare Breeds: None Stats: HereSpecies StandardsPreferred Habitat: Murp only live in open areas where there is plenty of grass to graze on. Fields, Prairies, Plains. Very rarely do they live in scrublands where food is more scarce, but they have been known to be sighted there. Though they can easily travel through woodlands, they avoid them. Diet: The Murp are grazers, eating grass and grains alike. Their bellies aren't too good at digesting harder plants like bushes, so they usually eat the greener stuff. Call: They give out a long (or sometimes short) bleating call that resembles their name, "Murp, murp, muuuurp-pa-pa!" Special Care Needs: Brush their fur every day. If you don't, they'll get painful mats in a hurry. If you are unable to brush their fur, you should at least trim it (though that will prevent them from being able to withstand cold nights as easily). Their cloven hooves should also be trimmed at least monthly, or they'll grow out too long like fingernails. Biology and Anatomy: Murp are stocky animals - and though they look fat, they're quite the opposite. Beneath their thick fur rests thin legs and a chest packed with muscles. Their fur is not only to protect the more cold-vulnerable parts of their body from heat-loss (head, chest, ankles), but it also serves as a puffy "armor" to prevent predators from biting their vitals, like their neck... Much like a lion's mane helps to protect itself from a fight with other lions. These creatures are also rumored to grow great horns as they grow older - the larger the horns, the more healthy the individual... But of course, as babies, they just kinda' wobble, roll, frolic, and eat and cry. Behavioral Study: They're very similar to thundergugs in nature, but less stubborn. They live in large herds - sometimes reaching the thousands in quantity, and would generally rather flee than fight. However, if their young are in danger, or it is a large male defending the herd - they are creatures you perhaps would not like to be on the sour side of. Suggested Uses: On one hand, this is a favorite food to many Draconics, and Wiurn alike.. On the other hand, they make marvelous pack animals - and some people claim that they make good companions. BreedsWhite: The White Murp is the easiest to spot in a field, and therefore is one of the favorites of shepherds. Their coat also makes the "cleanest" fabrics if one were to shave them. Brown: The Brown Murp is by far one of the most common - and one of the more hardy breeds. Because it's coat is not so appealing however, it's not favored by many shepherds. This is the breed most commonly found in the wilds. Black: The Black Murp is a "collector's favorite". It's not actually a different breed to itself, but rather a genetic oddity of the White murp (much like white tigers).. As such, the Black Murp is more rare, and though it's less favored for it's coat quality by shepherds, they want to keep them anyway - as a mascot or even "prize". Strawberry: Haven't you seen a picture of a Strawberry Murp on a skirt? No...? Oh, well.. maybe that's a different animal. At any rate, they're very popular, and have been adopted out quite quickly. Polyester: All natural... Really. >.>;
