Holiday Species SnippetsBasic Information: It should first be introduced that the Special "holiday" creatures are created in celebration of particular holidays... Their behaviors also reflect that. The Species/Breed names are not set in stone - but rather just what they are commonly called, to help identify each one individually. They grow differently from other creatures at MML... After their initial release (and hatching) on their holiday, they seem to have their growth stunted until their holiday shows up the following year! If you want your creatures to grow, you'll need to hold onto them for a long time... If there are any VSC available, they are only available for purchase during the month of their respective holiday. Stats: Can be found in the Holiday/Mansion stat thread. Species List:Corpse ConstructAssociated Holiday: Halloween Size: 5 VSCs Available: Frostbite, Smoulder Description: This terrible creature is a collection of bones, flesh, and magic.. It only feeds on living (or dead) flesh, which it seems to slowly accumulate and fuse to it's own body as it feeds - making it (slowly) stronger. The more it feeds, the more it thrives. Despite it's looks, now that it's grown - it's deceptively fast! At least it cannot fly.. Yet... Shadow LurkerAssociated Holiday: Halloween Size: 4 VSCs Available: Holy Light Description: This shady creature seems to be entirely made from shadow magic... It's composed of shadows, and only on occasion - when excited - it's eyes will glow, the only way you can truly tell it's there, lurking in the shadows. Luckily, it can't hurt you physically.. but.. in OTHER ways, it surely is skilled... Pink Fuzzy BunnyAssociated Holiday: Halloween Size: 5 VSCs Available: Black Beast of Kamaldu, Alice Description: This terrible monster is the most horrifying of all halloween creations... Just look at how vicious it is! With those little toes, and wiggly nose... Just look at that fluffy tail! The horror!... And what's with all the carrots? Why does it need such good eyesight anyway?... Truly the most disturbing of all halloween monstrosities... Or... perhaps there was just a mistake, and this creature was released on the wrong holiday? (I bet it still bites anyway). Oh.. and they loooove children! /sarcasm Candycorn BatAssociated Holiday: Halloween Size: 2 VSCs Available: Vanilla, Chocolate Description: It's a sweet little creature, isn't it? It thrives on sucking the sugary goodness out of candy.. Chocolate filling? All gone. Juicy center? It is no more! Hide your candy from this sweet-toothed monstrosity! Red DevilAssociated Holiday: Halloween Size: 3 VSCs Available: Black Devil Description: Mischievous! It's akin to fire, and the flame.. and loves to tear one's house apart... Apparently, the Candycorn Bat was the Treat.. and this thing is the "Trick"... It likes to do.. mischievous things (if that wasn't obvious).. wet toilet paper in your tree? Yup.. it might have been the Red Devil.. So might have been the smashed pumpkins, or missing shoes. Sapling SpritelingAssociated Holiday: MML Anniversery Size: 1 VSCs Available: None Description: This little creature is even more special than ALL the other very special critters! It doesn't grow every year.. Oh no, it does something far more wonderful! Rumor has it, that this magical little creature changes appearance and personalities during each season of the year.. a forever changing (but never growing) pet! Sapling Sprites are fairly small, about the size of a kitten, and love to fly about in forests, caring for them... Or causing general (friendly) mischief to people who visit them... If you own one, they are said to be the most wonderful of companions! Star FlitterAssociated Holiday: MML Anniversery Size: 2 VSCs Available: None Description: These little creatures are said to have come from the stars in the heavens. Usually friendly and playful, they love to flit around at night, allowing their tail to shine when they're happy. They are said to be creatures of "good fortune" - and somehow managed to arrive just on the very special day, that is the anniversery of MML.. then again.. you did adopt those eggs from the laboratory, didn't you? Oooh, is that a little jade on their forehead?! Crystal GuardianAssociated Holiday: MML Anniversery Size: 3 VSCs Available: None Description: These furry "reptiles" have hollowed wings that need not flutter in order to fly.. instead, they use the powers of the central earth from which they came - and hover with some sort of "magnetism" ability. Their voice is like a chime - and their laugh, a bell. A faint ring, like your finger tracing over a crystal wine-glass hums in the air as they float past. These creatures are excellent diggers, and prefer to spend most of their time scraping away at the earth, attempting to find beautiful crystals that resemble the ones that make up their chest. King of the EvergreenAssociated Holiday: Winter Holiday Size: 3 VSCs Available: None Description: This little creature can (rarely) be seen hiding within' it's forest homes. Although they seem more like... Plant-rodents, they're rather more related to elves! Who would have thought that little elves would walk on four clawed feet? The berries that grow upon them are magical, and have healing properties - and the horns that decorate their head seem to cause all creatures in the forest to treat them with general respect and wonderment... During the winter. If there's a "hidden life and beauty" behind the freezing death of winter, the King of the Evergreen is sure to be there! Snow FlurryAssociated Holiday: Winter Holiday Size: 4 VSCs Available: None Description: Snow Flurries tend to live in the coldest, most harsh parts of the world, and are only seen during the winter holidays - the only time of the year their rage seems to turn to benevolence. Normally, they dine on the flesh of creatures that have frozen to death in the snow (or.. they hasten the death), but during the winter holidays, they seem to have a more playful spirit - instead of maiming, they throw snowballs, and other such playful activities... You'd best tame it up to be friendly, before the winter is out! Jolly BirdAssociated Holiday: Winter Holiday Size: 1 VSCs Available: None Description: This joyous little creature, about the size of a small house-cat, loves to frolic in the snow, and sing beautiful songs during the winter months.. after all, during winter, it's nearly only it's song that can be heard in the cold! These little creatures love to hop about, and feast on seeds left out for them - oh my, you did remember to leave seeds out, didn't you? Ice BurrowerAssociated Holiday: Winter Holiday Size: 2 VSCs Available: None Description: Often times considered a "pest", these little creatures use their horn to drill deep within' the ice.. unfortunately, many children playing in the snow step on their little needle-sharp ice-crystal backs; causing much crying during the winter months... They mean no harm though, really, they're just looking for good treats to eat, and a nice and cool place to sleep. Mr. MeltyAssociated Holiday: Winter Holiday Size: 3 VSCs Available: None Description: Mr. Melty was given away during a special event in the Winter of 2008 - where people had to find his various ingredients (snow, carrot, kerosene, etc) - and give them to the old granny who would help them build their very own fire-breathing snowman! Unfortunately, Mr. Melty lives up to his name during all the "non winter" months... Love PlushAssociated Holiday: Valentine's Day Size: 2 VSCs Available: None Description: These cute little critters are actually plushies, that have been magically animated to come to life, and... well, as all puppies (and kitties) do, love absolutely everyone they see! Just stare into those adorable blue eyes, and watch it's cute little tail wiggle back and forth.. Now, it used to be - that it was just a love pup.. where did this kitty come from?! Daaaw, don't they just make the cutest couple? Beast of FoolsAssociated Holiday: April Fool's Size: 2 VSCs Available: None Description: April Fools! XD Oh my! What ... what happened? One could SWEAR that thing was a disgusting blob on the 1st, and on the 2nd...? It... It just changed! This horrible beast seems to be made of cloth. It floats around the world laughing maniacally quite frequently, always carrying it's dice with it... Can you handle such a prankster creature? Egg SnatcherAssociated Holiday: Easter Size: 3 VSCs Available: None Description: Often called the "bunny-snake", this creature normally eats foxes and hawks - but during the easter holiday, they hide in the bushes, and expose only their fluffy front-half, convincing small children to leave them painted eggs (to devour). Careful though, they bite, and are quite poisonous. DuckyAssociated Holiday: Easter Size: 1 VSCs Available: None Description: What's so special about a ducky..? Well - we don't know, but the labs sure like them - and.. aren't they cute? ^.^; Love PlushieAssociated Holiday: Valentine's Day Size: 1 VSCs Available: None Description: Did you love your Love Plush? Well, apparently, they love each other so much that they made a Love Plushie or two! Congrats to all of you who got one during Valentines! Now.. the real question is; is it a puppy? Or a kitten? MortlingAssociated Holiday: Halloween Size: 2 VSCs Available: None Description: Mortlings are the sons and daughters of the great beast known as Mortavos. He is a vile beast, and has granted you his spawn. Please note that mortlings are not dead nor skeletal - it is merely and illusion of their biology. Mortlings are not evil by nature, but can easily be trained to be the nastiest sort of beast... Mortlings are only available during October of 09'. SparkulvAssociated Holiday: April Fool's Size: 3 VSCs Available: None Description: The sparkulv is easily the coolest creature ever made in the Labs City. It's bright and beautiful fur makes it one of the prettiest and most unique creatures. It's not vain, though- everyone loves its chill and laid back (but also SO random) personality. It's even said that they can find rare gemstones and always know which way is North. They can move without being seen or heard, and strike from the darkness. I hear that every Sparkulv has a rippling six pack of abs under its fur. That it knows seven kinds of karate. That it can cook a souffle with its eyes closed. It can even bite a sword. WELP Corp cannot confirm nor deny the veracity of any of these statements. (Sparkulvs were collectively created for an April Fools' poll in April '22.) There are plenty more species that can be found in the Eccentrics Mansion!

Mining Species SnippetsBasic Information: The Mining Familiars are generally hard to get a-hold of indeed.. For they are only found in the mines... Did you happen to mine one up by accident? Well, you might want to do a bit of research on them, and now you can. Unfortunately, for the Mining Familiars, the word "familiar" is a skewed one.. it comes from the latin "familiaris", which just means "friend"; thus - these "friends of the mines" often can help you mine up new and better things - but this does not by any means grant instant friendship! It's just the title they are given. Stats: Can be found in the Mining stats thread. Species ListGem DragonSize: 2 Varieties: Topaz, Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, Diamond Description: Gem Dragons are by far the most intelligent and clever of the "gem" familiars. Though they don't seem to have any set personalities, it is easy enough to say that each one is in individual.. Some are tricky and naughty, while others are only benevolent - and some are just down-right mean! They are however, fairly quick learners, and for obvious reasons highly prized.. even if they aren't real dragons. Gem DrakeSize: 2 Varieties: Opal, Crystal, Cherry Quartz, Amethyst Description: Gem Dragons are by far the most intelligent and clever of the "gem" familiars. Gem WyrmSize: 2 Varieties: Garnet, Jade, Marble, Onyx, Hematite Description: Gem Wyrms have the intelligence and temperament of a large snake. They are not by nature "mean hearted", but instead rather "heartless".. They can however be trained to perform simple enough tasks (so they say), such as to follow the owner, and to attack on command.. though, it is cautioned to be wary of these creatures, as they harbor no true loyalty to their owner. Tunnel WormSize: 1, 3, and 5 Varieties: Mini, Giant, Really Big Description: Tunnel Worms are not "mean" by nature - but instead considered to be territorial.. If you can manage to tame one however, they are often good pets.. and they are very good at their "job" of burrowing great tunnels in the earth.. Be aware that they may also eat your gems, if you do not give them careful directions.. and remember - simple words are the only kind that a Tunnel Worm can understand, even when fully trained.. "Sit, Stay, Staaaaay... Good." Runic GargoyleSize: 3 Description: Runic Gargoyles, to the lab's understanding - are creatures trapped within' the depths of the mines.. They are magical beings cursed to an existence of earth and darkness, the runes upon their stone bodies a tell-tale sign of the magic upon them. They are highly intelligent, though not capable of speech, they do understand it once they learn the language. Like all the Gargoyles, they can be imbued with a gemstone to alter their form. Winged GargoyleSize: 3 Description: Winged Gargoyles are also intelligent, though they lack all the culture and rich history that the Runic Gargoyles once had. They are clever in their own ways, but most likely the lack of arms adds to their lack of ability to "learn and do".. it's hard to write with no arms. They do however, make excellent servants, as many miners have found out - but as usual, the labs does not support the ownership of intelligent creatures. Wingless GargoyleSize: 3 Description: Wingless Gargoyles are not quite as intelligent - but rather seem to be the "guard dogs" of the Runic... None have been yet found by the public, or documented in full - but they are rumored to exist.. do you think you can find one? There are plenty more species that can be found in the Mines!

Robot Species Snippets
Basic Information: Ever wanted your own robot slave-*cough* I mean.. partner..? Well, with a little work, you can own one! Stats: Located in the Robots section
Robots List:
Trainer Replacement Druid (sometimes called "Trod") Size: 4 Varieties: Alloy, Catalyst Description: This robot is two parts... We will be placing a chip within' your brain (don't worry, it's harmless after the first 3 seconds) - which acts as a remote control to the robot itself. The robot itself waits at your kennels while you go out on adventures. At any point in time, you may tap into the robot's brain - allowing you complete control. With this robot, you can be both on adventures, and training your creatures in the kennel at the same time! The only dis-advantage is that your creatures do not build up any loyalty to you.. but at least your creatures can get used to your voice! As the droid mimics the sound of your voice to teach your pets... Also - it's sure to make sure the more "attention needy" pets get full attention - as the droid is just as affectionate as you! Basically, it's you with a metal alloy body!
Bionic Dash-Claw Size: 4 Varieties: Sandy, Sable, Brown, Green, Dark, Sky Description: These wonderful bionic creatures are trainable! Sadly, due to their robotic side, they will never grow... Even though they can be used to attack things, we suggest you use them as mounts... They're quite intelligent, and have a lot of history behind their lives.. After all, they did live a full life before we grafted electro-- Oh, never-mind.
Clockwork Avian Size: 3, 6, 3 Varieties: Standard (6 different colors), Giant, White Description: These hawk-sized clockwork creatures have a superior mind, and thus, can be trained like normal pets. Keep in mind though, it's advanced artificial intelligence does not grant a loving heart! The Giant Clockwork Avian however, due to it's enormous size - it's much more expensive.. after all, it can easily carry a rider into the skies as a mount! On top of which, it can be a mighty battle-pet. The super-rare white clockwork avian is just like the standard avian, only it's capable of emotion! Who wouldn't want a robot pet, that's actually capable of loving you?
Living Liquid Steel Size: 2 Varieties: Basic, Cat, Lizard, Dragon (super-rare) Description: This little cat-sized creature is actually composed of billions of microscopic robots - allowing it to work together as a "sentient" creature.. Literally - like a liquid steel. They are supposed to be very malleable, and able to take many, many shapes... Kapper promises to create many many disks that will allow the Liquid Steel to transform into many useful shapes, such as spiders, dragons, dogs, etc... Each form has it's uses - but the disks that transform them must be purchased separately. They are also trainable.. but each form must be trained to use it's ability.. so, if you get it a form that has wings - you have to teach it to fly, etc.
Scuttle Size: 2 Varieties: Gold, Silver, Bronze, Steel, Titanium Description: Scuttle is a very handy machine indeed! It scurries along the floors (and sometimes walls and ceilings), picking up trash in it's pincers - and sweeping up dust particles with it's tentacles - quickly disposing of them in it's dome cavity as it turns the trash into ash with a quick zap from the electricity producing copper crown. These handy little things will never allow any trash to be in your house, ever! Luckily, you can program them to NOT eat your socks if you leave them out of place, and they're decent as battle-pets too... *Ker-zaap!* Don't worry though, they can't hurt YOU, they're only about a foot in diameter.
Scuttler Size: 4 Description: Scuttler is a bit different from the smaller scuttle.. The Scuttler is about 5 feet in diameter, and is designed to go into the harshest places; like the turbulent seas, or the farthest reaches of outer space (comes with it's own rocket fuel)... These robots, in contrast to the scuttle, were not designed for trash pick-up, but rather for literally scuttling ships... They'll make quick work of the hull of any ship or space-ship, tearing huge chunks of metal right from their sides... Oh, who wouldn't want one of THOSE by their side in battle?! And don't forget, they're electrical! *Ker-zaap!*
Blade Dragon v3.8 Size: 4 Varieties: Acid (acid), Golden (lava), Slag (lava), Steel (acid), The Red One (super-rare) Description: These creatures were designed purely for battle! With powerful jaws, talons, and blades upon their back, they're ready for war! I mean.. battle! *cough* You know, they even spit lava or acid, depending on their variety!! Blade-Dragons are the size of Lions, but cannot be ridden - be cautious around them!
Nitor (often called "Geko") Size: 2 Varieties: Metal, Precious, Baby (super-rare), Talking (super-rare), Bronze (super-rare) Description: Nitor was designed to be a little bundle of love... So people would perhaps become a little more used to having a robot in their homes. These robots (when programmed correctly) are capable of love - and their job is simple.. they walk around your house, looking for people who need attention - and give it to them... Some of them act like dogs, and some of them act like silent loving purr-bots. Whatever the case, they can all walk on walls and ceilings with their gravity-generators on their feet, and their "gems" glow a soft light - providing.. well.. lighting for your home. They're quite affectionate - so be prepared to give it attention.
Walking Scrap Metal Size: 2 Varieties: Various Chaotic Styles Description: Some of you may recall the old Robotic's Workshop... Sadly, due to lack of spare parts, the workshop had to shut down... There were nine robots in total that people managed to build themselves.. We're terribly sorry if you missed your chance at building a robot...
Mag-70 Size: 3 Varieties: Basic, Monochromatic, Copper, Sky Metal, Shadow Iron Description: Mag-70 is the ultimate Magnet... It can easily control the magnetic field to lift, pull, push, and manipulate all manners of metal. They are also designed to dig through the earth - and thus they are used to find (and retrieve) metals in mines. They should not, however - be ever kept around robots or electronics, and thus - the Mag-70 will remain de-activated until you get it home.. To activate your Mag-70, simply pull out the tab. Luckily, the Mag-70 is also trainable, and fitted with a "personality program".. A much simpler program than the Nitor has - it can at least pretend to love you.
Trainer Replacement Druid Upgrade (sometimes called "Trod") Size: 4 Varieties: Alloy, Catalyst, Nova, Refined Description: The Upgraded version of the Trod is much like the older version of the trod... With a few minor adjustments. First, it is slightly larger. Second, it is (when you choose to temporarily sever the connection with your brain) smarter - and can mimic emotions.. but has none truly. And lastly, it has the ability to (when you choose to sever) become nothing more than a mech-suit, granting the user some really nice armor. Although the Trod (upgraded) can fly, it sadly cannot fly with the increased weight of a pilot.
Pumpkin Picker Size: 2 Varieties: Chrome, Rust, Caution Description: Don't look at the pumpkin. It's just a pumpkin. Look below it. Lower. Yeah, there, see it? That little robot holding the pumpkin on top of it's head? Yes, that one. This cute little robot has a thick tail for balance, and a flat head for carrying. It has "picker" arms, designed specifically for picking low-growing plants, like pumpkins, squash, and gourds. It also has a bad habit of stealing jack-o-lanterns during Halloween. This friendly little robot is available only during the Vai Min Mur celebration during October.
Zombie Destroyer Size: 4 Varieties: Chrome, Rust, Caution Description: It's thin and sleek, and can get into anywhere. It can climb almost any cliff and over bodies with those centipede-like legs. It has a cold-seeking tracking device in it's head. It has mandibles, armor, and a decapitation-device on it's tail. It even shoots lasers!! Yes, that's right, the Zombie Destroyer is made to do it's job perfectly! Of course, there was that one issue during Halloween.. poor kid dressed like Frankenstein... but no matter! The Zombie Destroyer is only available during the Vai Min Mur celebration in October.

Garden Species Snippets
Basic Information: Creatures from the gardens are wonderful indeed! Unlike most creatures, that grow into adulthood - the plant creatures (usually) change with every season! Where can you get these wonderful little plant-creatures? Why, at the Herbologist's Delight in the xRoads! However, obtaining one is quite difficult, and actually requires roleplaying.. Why not socialize with other folks - and end up getting yourself a plant creature? Or.. you could just skip all that, and buy one with real-life money. In fact.. a newer feature on the xRoads is the Gardens themselves.. and rumors have it, that many plant creatures will be able to be harvested for fruit, berries, or.. other such rarities! Stats: Located in the Plants thread.
Species List:
Bellaroxi Size: 0 Varieties: Pink, Lavander, Sea-Green, Yellow Description: These tiny creatures are only the size of a shrew! They were found one day, hiding among the blossoms in the Herbologist's Delight... Be careful! Though they are beautiful and delicate, their little stingers are extremely poisonous! Though you cannot train them, they are no doubt quite handy in your garden, protecting the flowering plants from all sorts of insects (their favorite food)... These little creatures are also, not technically plants (or so we assume), and so they do not change with each season - nor do they grow - as all Bellaroxi adopted out are already adults. Sad to say, it seems Bellaroxi are no longer for sale.. Not even in the Herbologist's Delight!
Dragon-Oak Size: 4 Varieties: *Various shades of green to brown Description: For some reason - the dragon oak (which happen to come up to your waist in height) is a very rare and expensive species... Rumors have it that there are multiple shades of Dragon Oak - and that there's even one large enough to ride upon! But.. we don't appear to have that in stock, sorry. The Dragon Oak does not change with the seasons.
Leaf-Scatter Size: 1 Description: These cute little plants resemble rodents.. or.. cats.. one can never be sure. They enjoy spending their days rummaging through the leafy forests, foraging for food (nuts and stray berries). They are excellent at climbing trees (or people), and love to live in social groups, often chattering away and grooming their friends. Surely a cute pet for any creature-trainer. During the winter, they spend most of their time sleeping - and in the spring they come into bloom. Fall causes them to produce a single berry, which is used in many magical potions.
Holiday Sapling Spriteling Size: 2 Description: Oh my! It seems this creature doesn't belong here in the gardens! Or.. does it...? Well, in all technicality, it is the first plant-creature MML had to offer... But then again, it's a Holiday Critter! So special!
Mussimander Size: 1 Varieties: Desert, Rock, Edible, Toxic, Magic (super-rare), Giant (unique) Description: The mussimander is a cute little creature, only about a foot long from head to tail... The mushrooms growing on it's back are intoxicating, edible, or even poisonous - depending upon the variety you've got... Unfortunately, if you own a bellaroxi (which is the size of a bumble-bee), you'd best be careful - as bellaroxi are the mussimander's favorite food! The mussimander does not change with the seasons.
Succulent Worm Size: 3 Description: These sand-dwelling creatures are designed to look like cactus in bloom.. actually, they ARE cactus in bloom, they're just... living, you know? They don't stay in one spot, instead, the burrow through the sand like a worm, and pop up whenever they need sunlight or food (in the form of bugs, or nectar-eating birds and bats)... Be careful about your hand though, they usually can't tell the difference, as they're totally blind... They have an excellent sense of touch though!
Whiptail Vine-Snatcher Size: 4 Description: These creatures are quite vicious! You should only take one if you are a very cautious owner - and a remarkable trainer. These creatures are completely blind, but using echo-location, can see their prey. They frequently stalk about the jungle floors, constantly in search of food. The Autumn is when they are said to be most dangerous, and are extremely violent (even more so than their normal times) - for that's when they carry their babies, and they are very protective parents! Also, if you have any dogs - be cautious! Even though the Whiptails are only the size of an average dog, they usually become tasty snacks, so keep your puppies safely hidden!
Branchaeopter Size: 3 Varieties: Common, Tropical Description: Though the Branchaeopter looks like a bird or dinosaur, it is in fact a plant.. the body seems to be made of some sort of malleable wood substance, and the feathers are instead leaves! These creatures are quite clever, and capable of flight, and can even manipulate objects with their claws upon the edges of their wings. They prefer to eat large insects, small rodents and lizards - and are very good at removing the world of pests. The Branchaeopter does indeed change slightly with the seasons.. during the colder months, it's "feathers" are browns and reds; yet during the warmer months, it's "feathers" are greens. The Tropical Branchaeopter is very similar to the regular kind, but is much more rare. It prefers to live in climates that are always hot and humid.. tropical forest, rainforests, and jungles. Because of this, they never change colors during the year.. and are highly sought after because of their plumage.
Skutirut Size: 1 Description: The Skutirut can move in any direction, thus have no true back or front, but most may consider the "flower" as their front side. They're both blind and deaf, but are great at picking up vibrations trough the ground by their spindly legs as well as feeling smell trough their root hairs. They are mute but can communicate using smell. Normal humans can't feel this very easily, but for example, they let out a sweet smell when happy and a foul one when enraged. They do not eat, but constantly root themselves to absorb nutrients and water thought the roots. As any plant, they need to receive a balanced amount of light and water.
Bellafaux Size: 1 Varieties: Iris, Merigold, Chicory, Rose, Clover (march), Black Rose (october), Snowdrop (december) Description: After realizing that the Bellaroxi were a "big hit", the labs decided to make a "better" version of their tiny cousins. Now, these new creatures, the "Bellafaux" are nearly the size of a house-cat.. and trainable! Sadly, in genetically modifying these creatures to be bigger and smarter, their poison has been dumbed down.. Though, be wary, a sting still may put you in the hospital! These small creatures are also not technically plants, and so they do not change with each season - nor do they grow - as all Bellafaux adopted out are already adults. Some varieties are so rare, that they're only sold during specific months of the year!
Fungal Leech Size: 1 Description: These creatures were found deep within' the southern jungles.. They're listed as quite dangerous creatures, so we're limiting one per customer... They've gills along their side to breathe, Spore Frills along their back (for producing spores), tendrils on their heads (for catching spores), tiny hair-like roots on their bellies, and two tentacle-whip tails for strangling their victims into unconsciousness... We don't know a lot about them.. but we -do- know that they live in trees, drop from them onto a victim's head and attach... They will "choke" them into a black-out and take root... I've seen plenty of people walking around with one of these -permanently- attached to their heads... and they don't seem right... The fungal leech can be found in the Zoological Imports.
Treat Gourd Size: 2 Varieties: Unripe, Boo, Autumn Description: These magical gourds have been enchanted to come to life. The soft glow coming from their innards never goes out, and they're quite friendly. Because these gourds had no way to move around, the owner of the Herbologist's Delight hand-sewed a little cloth body for it, and stuffed it with magic beans. Indeed, this friendly little pumpkin creature can move around, and is quite happy to give out hugs, and go trick-or-treating with you. This creature is only available during the Vai Min Mur celebration during October.
Trick Serpent Size: 5 Varieties: Nightshade, Strangleweed, Creepingwither Description: Sleek, serpentine, and deadly. Cut off a head, and three grow in it's place. Of course, it takes about a month for the new heads to grow (and they're much smaller than the original), but nobody's counting. These venemous thorny plants resemble snakes, and they live to choke the life out of their prey and swallow them whole, digesting them slowly with acidic juices. This dark creature is only available during the Vai Min Mur celebration during October.

Fishing Species Snippets
Basic Information: There are some creatures in the world that can only be acquired by fishing. Most of the creatures listed here can only be fished up in the River Below the Canyon of Eterra... Do you want to try your luck at fishing? Some of these creatures are more rare than others, and are exclusive to other areas - such as the Bay in the South. Stats: Located on the Fishing thread.
Species List
Mudfish Size: 2 Description: The Mudfish is a "simple" fish that scavenges for food along the muddy bottoms of the Eterra River. Despite it's simple looks, it's quite clever compared to the more common fish - and can even be trained. Be cautious of it's wide mouth though, they are opportunistic eaters.
Pinball Size: 1 Description: The Pinball Fish is a comical yet clever creature - who generally is found in good humor. They like to play pranks, and yet at the same time - get quite nervous if a "prank" is played on them. They eat plants, and do not enjoy the jokes of "would be predators" - be careful, they will defend themselves!
Pinchclaw and Snapclaw Size: 2 Description: Though they may look like a simple crab - do not think of them lightly! They are intelligent enough to be trained - and have a rather territorial temper. They will defend their food, water, and home... even if that "home" is their owner. They have a bad habit of not knowing what is "too much" - if they get started in a fight, they will rarely stop until they have slain their foe - or until they are slain themselves.. Something like the "wolverines of the waves". Luckily, they're slow to anger.
Skippernipper Size: 3 Description: For such a large amphibian - they're rather hard to find! These predatory creatures use ambush tactics, and are more elusive than one would expect for something light blue at the bottom of the river. Regardless of their habit in diet, they are friendly by nature (if very shy), and warm up quickly to their owners... if you can catch one.
Whippersnapper Size: 3 Description: The Whippersnapper is just as it's name implies. It uses it's long whip-like body to swim through the water's strongest currents - and it's long jaw full of jagged teeth are used to snap of their unsuspecting prey. Fast, agile, and lots of teeth. Luckily (or un-luckily), these creatures are also rather intelligent. Think you're good enough to train one into loyalty?
Squirt Size: 1 Varieties: Common, Deadly, Ghost Description: They say that a Squirt is actually a baby Kraken... I beg to differ. These creatures are rather shy, and make good use of their ability to "run away" and distract their enemies with their ink. Of course, each variety has a different method of dealing with predators... Beware the Deadly Squirt!
Halberd Shark Size: 5 Varieties: River, Bay, Ocean Description: The Halberd Shark is by far one of the most prized creatures of the water. It is also one of the most dangerous. Did we mention it's intelligent enough to be trained? Oh yeah, these things are awesome. Unfortunately, if you catch one - you do sort of start with a negative amount of loyalty... after all, why would they take commands from their food? As their name implies, they have several metal-like "horns" on their body - which are extremely sharp. The older the shark, the larger their "Halberd"... We would like to suggest not holding onto it.
River Sand Skimmer Size: 1 Description: This (intelligent) creature looks rather familiar, doesn't it...? I wonder where I've seen one before... Hm, well - anyway... These creatures live by skimming along the sands at the bottom of the river or along the beach, finding miniature particles of food to eat.
Sea Pony Size: 2 Description: The Sea Pony is one of the most prized creatures of the waters - even more so than the Halberd Shark! The Sea Pony is in fact a baby Sea Mare or Sea Stag. Every year, the Sea Mares and Stags will go up-river from their Ocean home - breed, and lay their eggs there - only to retreat back into the Bay. The Sea Ponies stay in the River once they hatch, until they're old enough to head to the Bay as adults. If you manage to get a hold of a Sea Pony, take good care of it! You may have a very special aquatic mount on your hands!
Ram Fish Size: 4 Varieties: Mud, Algae Description: The Ram Fish, despite it's name - is not related to a Ram, but is rather named for it's bony plate upon it's head - which it uses to.. you guessed it - ram into things. It's a rather large creature, and like most of the creatures listed here - quite intelligent. They are a more primal creature though - and prefer to stun their prey (by ramming into them), then snapping them up in their jaws. Their long fins are not very delicate, but rather can move much like hands, helping them to "crawl" along the rocky bottom of the rivers and reefs.
Blarg Whale Size: 4 Description: The Blarg Whale - though intelligent enough to be trained (with effort), is considered to be a "cow of the water".. they're slow, simple minded, and mostly swim by allowing their stored fat to help them float along - their fins mostly there to help guide them. They have poor eyesight, and aren't very fast or agile. Needless to say, they're a favorite food of Halberd Sharks.. It is rumored that the Blarg Whale is a closely related cousin to the far superior Kodai Whale.
Vacera Size: 4 Description: The Vacera is actually only found in the deepest parts of the ocean, perhaps close to the underwater city - according to rumors. These creatures glide smoothly along the waters, and are considered to have poor eyesight because of the depths that they travel. Their two antennae glow to lure in prey.
