Another day, another breeding, that's what she thought at least. She wanted to get these last two breedings in before the end of the month, which was fine really as long as she focused on it. It wasn't hard to breed Pachee at least, they were pretty receptive to breedings, which was probably why the Labs had released them for free back when they were first created. She had gone crazy over the species and she couldn't imagine life without them, she figured with a little smile as she led the two down to the Breeding Center from her home. Sometimes it was nice to do a breeding every now and then, she figured with a little smile, and the woman wished that there was something else she could do to make things work out pretty well other than this. Jack sighed a little and walked the two Pachee toward where the Breeding Center was, contemplating their eyes as she went. Horace had the traditional eyes of the Black Pachee, while Gladis' eyes were a little darker, almost purple, it made it easy to tell them apart when they were looking at her at least, she figured with a little chuckle. Not that she needed much help.

They were easy to tell apart anyway because of the pollen on Horace and the slit in Gladis' forehead, but the eye color helped out too, and she wondered how that managed to happen. Maybe the mutations were taking over more than she was hoping for, but she knew what she was hoping for with this pairing at least. She just hoped it would work, but she had gotten albino babies from this type of pairing, that had to count for something didn't it? The berries were all the same as well, and she hoped that the outcome would be how she wanted it to be. Jack pushed her hair back as she continued to lead the Pachee pair, feeling like they hadn't made any progress whatsoever so far, but they had to have, the house was well behind them at this point. Giving a little chuckle, she just wished she could hurry up the whole process, but at least it didn't take as long as an Orbaru breeding did, those were done best with another person to give you something to do for awhile. That was the issue, but that was where she had met Renathan and she didn't regret it at all.

She loved breeding her Orbaru and Pachee, and she smiled down at the two she was bringing with her this time. She didn't know what else to do about things just yet, but that was fine, at least she had something to do and wouldn't get too terribly bored, or at least she hoped she wouldn't this time. Jack knew she had to pace herself, but Horace was already giving off some pollen to Gladis at this point, which was fine, but irritating at the same time considering the issues with the PaDEPA at the Breeding Center. Hopefully she wouldn't be pregnant by the time they got there, she didn't want to be considered a bad owner for keeping them together like that, but they were headed to the Breeding Center already, there wasn't much she could do about it. Jack was sure she would get what she wanted out of this pairing, but kept an open mind just in case. Either way, she was going to be happy with the breeding, and she knew it was just going to work out no matter what. She chuckled and reached down to pat them on the head, both of them, and hoped they would do well for her.

She just knew that things were going to work out for her, she just had that feeling. She was fairly lucky with things, though not as lucky as some people like Renathan. Everything just seemed to fall into his lap somehow, and she worked hard for everything she did. That wasn't to say he didn't work hard as well, he just seemed to have it a touch easier whenever he did. Smiling, she thought about him and then reached down to pick up Gladis, hugging her a little bit as Horace walked along behind her on the leash. She was happy to do what she could for the man, and she knew he loved the Pachee she had given him from one of her recent breedings as well. She just hoped he would get around to breeding him at some point, it wouldn't make sense not to, right? Jack chuckled a little, she didn't know how they would turn out, but that was alright when it all came down to it, and she wished him the best of luck with his breeding. Jack didn't know what else to do at the moment except to keep walking though, for some reason it seemed like it was taking longer to get to the Breeding Center today.

Maybe it was taking longer because she had come from the house instead of the garden, that almost had to be it she figured with a little smile on her face. Jack didn't know what to expect from it taking so long, but with all the pollen in the air she was a little worried the kits were going to come out a little deformed. That wouldn't be good at all, and so she picked up Horace as well, one under each arm, and picked up her speed so they could get there a little sooner. She didn't want a bunch of unknown pollen getting into Gladis and making things difficult for the kits, that wouldn't be good at all when it came down to it. She sighed a little as she walked, she didn't know what to think of things, but at least she was trying to do something, she figured with a little chuckle. Jack flipped her hair out of her eyes with a head twist, she really needed to get it cut, and then she wondered what she was going to try and do whenever they got there. She supposed one of these days she needed a breeding partner...

Whatever happened, the three of them needed to get to the Breeding Center. They were having fun being held under her arms, and she wondered if she was squeezing them too tightly. That was hard to do though, and finally she saw the Breeding Center crest over the hill. It was going to be great, and she hoped that these kits would turn out fine, even with all the extra pollen in the air at the moment. Jack let the two Pachee on the ground just outside of the door, then pushed it open and went on in with the two of them trailing behind her. She smiled at the attendant behind the desk and got everything filled out. Gladis had never been to the Breeding Center, but Horace had of course, a couple of times at this point she thought, and she wondered if things were going to go well in spite of it all. All of the pollen was carefully brushed off of Gladis' fur by the attendant before they went to go sit down and wait for a room. She wondered if they were going to be in the same room as the other four had been so far.

Jack was pleased with herself, she had made it to the Breeding Center in decent time, and it looked like Gladis wasn't going to be reeling from all that extra pollen that was in the air this season. It was going to be a rough year for that kind of thing, but that was fine, she figured it would all work out in the end. Jack pushed her hair back as she sat down, the leashes still on the two Pachee, and she wondered what she was going to do when it was time to go home with four Pachee instead of two. Maybe they would even have more than two kits, it had happened before, oddly enough. One breeding had even given her four of them! Things were looking up, she figured with a little smile, and she hoped that the breeding would turn out well like she was hoping for at the moment. Jack pushed her hair back again and then finally tied it back with a hair tie. It was so annoying having long hair, she hated taking care of it, and she really needed to get it cut again some day. She gave a little chuckle, who had time?

All she knew, she figured as she watched the pair of Pachee lay around at her feet for now as they waited for a room, was that she wanted to get it cut, but she was definitely always busy. Unless she made the time for herself, it was never going to get done, which was a shame because she thought she looked better with it short. She smiled and touched it for a moment before giving a sigh and shaking her head. She didn't need to start thinking like that, it was hard enough to deal with everything else, she didn't need to deal with herself as well. They waited and waited and waited some more, and she wondered why it took so long, she was the only one who was breeding at this point, she didn't think anyone else had taken advantage of the Breeding Center since it had re-opened. Jack frowned a little, maybe she needed to start something up, she really didn't know though, that might be a bad idea when it all came down to it. Well, not bad, but imagine the influx of the species if she started a club or something! It would be rough, definitely.

The attendant finally called the three of them back and led them to the room she was quite familiar with by now. Giving a small chuckle, she ushered the two black Pachee into the room and then settled down into one of the comfy chairs, stifling a yawn as she did so. It was going to be rough staying awake, but at least she had something she could do for just a moment now. Jack dug into her pouch of goodies and pulled out three berries, a blue one, a cluster of pink ones, and a large pink one, and then tossed them toward the two Pachee. Horace was the first to notice and snatched up the blue one while Gladis got there second and snagged the cluster of pink berries. It was good they had chosen those, she figured with a little chuckle, and watched as they mashed up the berries and took in the nutrients with their little paw tendrils. It was interesting watching them eat when they had no mouths, and Jack wondered if anyone else had thought of that as well. They had to have, she figured at this point, and she chuckled a little as time went on.

The big pink magical berry was left, and the two Pachee pounced on it and shared it, both sets of tendrils taking in all they could with the berry. Gladis looked a little shy, she had never been here before of course, but Horace smacked his tail on the ground a few times, letting the pollen into the air and the female's forehead slit. She was sure they were going to give her the kits she was looking for, but it was only a matter of time to see if that was really the case or not. Jack scratched under her own chin for a moment and then closed her eyes with a yawn. She was tired, it was a long night whenever she had her nightmares, but that was alright, she could deal with it a little at a time. Sooner or later these nightmares would fade, or at least she hoped they would. Images of her own broken bones being tossed around by herself came to mind and a shiver ran down her back. She didn't want anything like that to happen again, and she shook her head and focused again on the Pachee, forcing a smile. It wouldn't happen again.
