Leafy approached the cart with a spring in her step. Buying injections was always an exciting affair. She had been doing a lot of buying recently, which she supposed wasn’t ideal for her wallet, but she’d had a lot of things she’d needed to buy.
“Hello,” she greeted Alan. “I’d like to purchase a Cold Injection and two Psychic Injections.”
She got straight to the point. She’d been here before and while the other wares were interesting, she was only interested in the injections at the moment. The Psychic Injections in particular might have been pricey, but the things they could do were completely incredible. The Cold Injection on the other hand would be given to Antony. He was lacking as far as his potential for fighting moves. An elemental move would certainly serve him well. Right now, he was stuck with the basic physical moves that a Vulticus could learn.
Alan leaned across the cart with his usual grin. He bends down and picks up the injections from the display, gently placing a cold injection, and two psychic injections in the typical boxes, stacking them gently. He'd seen this individual before. "Yes, could I manage to get you any other injections, miss?" He's grinning. "Perhaps a nice acid one, or even a ribbon of telepathy for your beloved pets?" He was always willing to try to get another sale, of course. "But, if not, your total is 2,200 credits." He winks mischievously. What a big purchase this customer was attempting to make.
She took a quick glance at the wares, just to verify she hadn’t forgotten anything. For now, those three injections would be sufficient.
“That’s all for me today,” she smiled back.
Leafy pulled out the pouches containing her credits. She selected the ones that held the requires amount. She opened them up and counted out the correct amount of credits. The whole thing she knew was just for show. The second he got the credits Alan would just count them up himself. It was more of a verification for her than it was for him. If she accidentally gave him too many credits, there would be no way he would correct it.
“That’s 2200 credits ready to go,” she said holding them out to him.
She kept her eyes fixed on the injections he’d brought out for her. They swirled with an almost ethereal like energy and it enthralled Leafy to no end.
Alan grinned his greasy smile and then took the credits offered, counting them out speedily. As soon as he was done, he leaned up, grinning, and pushed the credits off into his own pouch. "Here you are, feel free to come back more whenever you feel like picking something up that no one else has." He winks, and then slides the boxed and bagged items over to the customer. Repeat customers were good and everything, he was making a tidy enough profit as was.
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?

Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.

Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)

Riku: I got three pet levels and 15c out of it. <3 And all the necessary posts for my job salary form.

Riku: In mine my crossbreed used foxfire to burn it - but then it used incendiary illusion, which was extra scary because my cross is a plant pet with thick fur. It used the distraction to escape. I’m proud of it, and it’s okay that I won’t finish this month.

Renathan: *But of course, the RNG was not having that. / In Morgan's story, the Nyssa was a real thing, so I wanted to have two different situations for the variety.
May 31, 2020 18:15:27 GMT -6
Renathan: Yeah, the 'finished the story but the RNGods are being a butt' thing is a rather unfortunate situation to be in. I had already decided that in Ren's story, the elderly woman had lied about the nyssa and just wanted someone to talk to*

Riku: That makes sense. I've considered that before. -nod- I hope your non-hxr life is going smoothly.

Haix: Just quitting the job. Don't believe I'll be making the ten posts required per month any time soon. XD
May 31, 2020 16:34:01 GMT -6
Riku: Note to haix, I believe you can post the new application form at the same time as the quitting form. Unless you are simply taking an overall break from the job system.

Fiera Ferella: even AT the gardens yet. XD It sucks when you've finished writing your story and haven't gotten a success, because then its like "well... now what?" XD
May 31, 2020 15:51:47 GMT -6
Fiera Ferella: ive found that when there's a quest that might take longer like this, its a good idea to try and space out the story beats to try and roll a success before i get to the meat of the story. XD Like, by the time i was 5 posts in my character wasn't
