Renathan ran to the Trader's as fast as he could when he realized that there were healing berries here. He had harvested his garden the best he could, and came running with all of the times he knew that he had procured for the process. He was sure that there were not going to be many, if any, left if he didn't hurry! He was carrying what had to be the biggest ever basket of springtime garden items, including a strange fossil he had nearly tripped over, hoping that it would be enough for what he wanted to do! Once he got there, he nearly slid up to the tables, breathing raggedly. "H-Hello, I uh, I was wanting to trade for healing berries, as many as you have left." He might have to go get more things, he was sure, if there were too many, but he hoped he had brought enough for this to work out. He hoped he didn't sound too rude.
The Trader peered into the basket the man was holding and then held out their own basket. There were three bunches of healing berries inside of it, and the Trader took them out and placed them on the counter, motioning for the man to do the same with his own items.
Renathan had never met the trader before, but now he had a second, he was a bit concerned as to who this individual was. They were shrouded in mystery, and not even Renathan's nose could really tell him what kind of person they were or even a scent that was normal for him to smell. Renathan tilts his head. The individual was not speaking with him, and instead offered the berries. Renathan began to realize what was going on. He nodded, so as not to alienate the individual, who may be mute as far as Renathan knows, and Renathan sits his own items down for the individual to look at. He tries to put them down in such a way that the Trader could, if they wanted to, look over each item for quality. A few of the flowers were pretty dead, but they were that way when he had harvested them, after all! He watched for some indication that they were okay.
The Trader stared at the items for a moment before picking each of them up and putting them in separate baskets, placing them underneath the counters as they did do. It was for later one, when they needed to trade for something else. With a nod, they pushed the healing berries closer to the man and then settled back again, pleased with the trade.
