Morgan could see the large black... Zombie Dragon practically, scrambling up the hillock. They couldn't help but smile, feeling quite glad that he was coming up; and this time it didn't sound like he was breathing so laboredly either. Thank goodness, Morgan couldn't help but feel relieved about this. The poor drake had been having such a hard time; and well, it didn't even really seem like he needed to breathe much, though it seemed like he was used to doing that at the very least and continued to do it as if he had never stopped breathing. "Good job, Waar." Morgan said, mostly beneath their breath since he couldn't hear it at the moment. However, once he got to the top of the hillock, Morgan was already feeling much harsher, the momentary weakness gone for a moment. Instead, they nodded to him, affixing him with their eyes and then they said, "Waar." simply as a greeting.

Waar seemed to regard Morgan for a moment, head tilted slightly at an unnatural angle nonetheless. Morgan should probably feel sick to their stomach just looking at it, but it was really difficult to think of Waar as anything other than what he was, and he was certainly not natural at this point. Morgan tried not to smile at him, and instead pushed him in his shoulder a bit with the gloves on. "How'd it go, huh Waar? You sore yet?" Morgan said, trying not to baby him too much now that he was charmed. Waar seemed to think about it; repeating it through the collar of speech by accident in bits and pieces. He couldn't really speak through the collar in a way that was coherent yet, but hopefully he would begin to learn how to do it. "Waar.... Sore.... Yet?" He seemed to get out. Morgan shook their head at him a bit.

"R-regardless of whether or not you are in fact sore, we'll need to get you fixed up." Morgan said, anyway. He needed to have that usual massage on him anyway, to give him a moment to rest before Morgan put him through the metaphorical ringer yet again. He needed to be ran up and down the hillocks about a billion more times, well, give or take a billion, but Morgan couldn't really rush this. They'd already done a lot more today than they had done the least few times they had been here, and he needed a ton more of this. Couldn't do everything in one day, and it was Morgan's responsibility to rehabilitate Waar. Morgan tried not to dwell on the fact that it was their fault too much, but it was a futile endeavor. Morgan used the gloves to be able to touch Waar, and began working over his shoulders a bit, and then down his front legs where the muscles still clung.

Morgan had no idea how long this was going to take in all honesty, and they had no idea if they were going to have enough time to keep this up. However, they did desperately want to help him, no matter how many months they had to drag this out. Morgan thought about this as they worked the stress out of Waar's muscles like any gym coach would do, and then Morgan waved him over. "Alright Waar, let's go get some water on you." He was way too warm, even for him, and Morgan wanted to make sure that they weren't overdoing this. Even though they probably already had... Morgan really didn't want to cut it too short today when they still had some time and Morgan had no idea when they would have more time, but it was important anyway to make sure that they were not doing more harm than good.

Waar wasn't sure what to make of Morgan suddenly walking off, but he followed at a quick jaunt despite feeling a little tired. Morgan could tell, they'd just about ran through his stamina for the day, metaphorically speaking. "Yup, we'll get you some water, get you cooled down, and then maybe if you are feeling up to it we'll do a quick jog to top you off." Morgan said, going through the grass down the first hillock and down to where the water pump was. This whole gym-training thing was exhausting for creatures, Morgan knew, and it was good that they kept this water pump down here so that people like Morgan could have an excuse to give their creature some rest. There was no need to run a poor beastie through a lot of mess nonstop until they were hurt; that would set all of the training back practically beyond square one for creatures like Waar.

Waar was pretty tired by the time they got to the water spout. He laid down in the grass with a harrumph that sounded suspiciously like a breath that Morgan knew that he did not technically have to take. "You big ham, Waar." Morgan mumbled beneath their breath, as they grabbed a water bucket and began to fill it up using the water spout. After the water bucket was filled up, Morgan lugged it over to the large black zombie drake and immediately he took to it; taking big drinks. Now not all of that water entered his throat, and not all of it ah, stayed in. However, at least some of it seemed to be doing some kind of good! Morgan wasn't sure how he... Worked anymore, but it at the very least seemed to be soothing him somewhat. Morgan reached over to grab a hose and hook to up to the spigot, to go ahead and give him a bit of a wash off to help cool him down,

As soon as the apparatus was properly hooked up, Morgan quickly got the water running again and ran the water over Waar as gently as possible. It was probably better than a massage, honestly, for his muscles. It would also remove any of the grime that he had accumulated during the process. They were going to continue working on this afterward if Waar didn't look so tired after this, but Morgan did want to give him a good long break during it. They took their time quietly, watching Waar cuddle down into the grass as the water was sprayed over him. "Is that good Waar? You like the water?" Morgan said, smiling the entire time. "Great job Waar; you did good today." The praises just kind of tumbled out, surprisingly enough. Morgan was certainly shocked at least, but Waar didn't really seem effected one way or the other about it at all. Morgan kinda stared into the distance for a moment.

They may not entirely have long to continue the practice, so Morgan knew not to waste a whole lot of more time. Waar, on the other hand, looked super exhausted. Morgan was struck with a second of feeling pretty bad for him, of course. But he seemed to be enjoying the water, at least. Morgan continued to spray him with the gently spray of the water, or at least it was gentle for his size. It wasn't long before Waar turned over, not entirely on his wings of course, and stuck his legs out at a sort of catty-corner. Morgan was able to spray the sides of his legs, but was careful not to get the spray on his belly, at least not directly. He seemed to be fine, of course, so at least there was that. After a while, the bespectacled human turned off the spray and unhooked the hose, rolling it up to leave it in the spot where Morgan had found it.

At the very least, Morgan was a fastidious person. "Did you like that, Waar?" Morgan asked standing over him with their arms crossed. "You're gonna need to get up soon boyo, so that we can leave. I want to run you to the door, since I think you need a little bit more of an exercise... I don't think you can really run up and down some of the inclines right now." Morgan was feeling pretty verbose, they really hadn't spoke a whole lot in a bit. It had been a long morning, a long morning indeed with no one here but Morgan and Waar, and Waar was not much of a conversationalist at this point. Morgan doubted he would ever be, but perhaps he would pick it up over a long period of time. Morgan had no doubt that he would at least understand a little bit at a time.

Waar didn't seem to want to get up, so Morgan put their knuckles on their waist and then shook their head. "Alrighty there, boyo." Morgan said. "Get on up, let's go." Waar may not understand that command, but he did move forward quietly and get up on his feet. The wonders of the psycho-social bond, correct? "Great job, come on." Morgan mumbled, and then Morgan raised the whistle to their lips, giving the command for come. Waar was not entirely ready to get up and go, but he managed to haul himself to his feet and walk after Morgan, big ole zombie leaking acid in slow drops and all. Morgan had grown used to him, but they were sure that others would not be quite so used to him on the way home... "Alright boyo, time to run!" Morgan gave him the command for dash, and of course he put on a burst of speed, even though he was tired.

Morgan saw him attempt the dash, and of course he was still exhausted, but it was pretty impressive that he was able to attempt that. Morgan decided to push it quite a bit and gave the command again whenever he started to slow up. Waar managed to find a way to give Morgan a pretty annoyed look before trying to dash again. There we go, Morgan thought, a few more of these and they'd be up to the main room to go ahead and check out. At the very least, they put in a lot of good work today. Whenever Waar tried to slow up again, Morgan quickly gave the command for dash yet again. Waar pushed ahead even faster now, and Morgan was beyond pleased! "Great job, boyo." Morgan said, and then immediately Morgan gave him another whistled dash command. Finally, they were at the main building and the pair could go ahead and go home! This had been a long time in the waiting, and Morgan was super pleased about it.

Waar was not really excited about starting this up again. Morgan knew that it was uncomfortable for him to work on his agility due to being part of the undead. Or rather that wasn't really it, it was more that his muscles were gone as a result of that in some places, and he was apparently quite creaky and slow to react due to a combination of that and just being plain dead at one point. It was a mess. Morgan still felt incredibly guilty about the entire thing, and that was why they showed up here every few months or so, in order to work on something Morgan had termed was his 'physical therapy'. Morgan had decided on so-called 'dexterity' training first to get Waar up to traditional snuff (or rather, blisteringly agile undead speed) before they decided what to work on after that. The pair had a long way to go, as well. However, they were quite prepared!

It had been a long time since they had been here last. Morgan left out of the front desk area, and stepped out with gloves back on to pat Waar on his shoulder. "You've been very t-tense lately, Waar. Are you feeling creaky?" Morgan asked him, low enough so that only they could hear it. Waar gave a huff and seemed to wave it off in his own sarane-like fashion, but Morgan wasn't having any of that. He'd very obviously been much more stiff lately than he had been, but thankfully not as bad as he was before they began working on his agility about this time last year, in fact. Waar tilted his head slightly to the left, and Morgan used the gloves to pat him on the snoot. "Alright boyo, let's go out to the field. Same one a-as last time." Another snort. It looked like Waar was going to be quiet today.

Morgan began walking out towards the side of the building so that they could walk the somewhat decent distance to the larger outdoor area that they were after, since Waar was a flyer, but they noticed about halfway down the walk of the side of the building that Waar was not following. They didn't hear the creak of his bones or the crinkle of his leathery wings. The human turned around, anything if not infinitely patient. They were a generally patient person, but especially so with this sarane. This situation that he was in was frustrating to him and to Morgan, and it was Morgan's fault. Therefor, Morgan decided that it was not fair to him to show their own frustration or sorrow about the situation to him. For one, it was their fault that he was dead in the first place, and it was also their fault that they didn't know which temple to go to...

Waar, however, was not as patient as Morgan was on principle. One would think that such a creature with what could be infinite lifespan not considering other forms of banishment or permanent death caused by strange circumstances would be patient, but Waar was a young drake whenever he passed, so he didn't exactly have much time to learn humility or patience. He tilted his head at Morgan, and then huffed again. "Don't wanna." He rumbled through the collar of speech, and Morgan crossed their arms, grimacing. "C-come on Waar. You can't refuse, we're already here, and the w-walk's already done ya some good." Morgan reasoned with him, not quite keeping their sympathy away from him. They knew that he found this stuff incredibly demeaning and also very uncomfortable. The human wasn't beyond pity for him, even now. That frustrated the drake even more, since he could feel it across the emotional link.
