[Come – 5]
At the very least, they were almost done with this training so far. He had to be pleased enough with that part of it, he supposed. Obsidion stiffled a yawn and shook his head, it was starting to get a bit dark out, but he could still see pretty well so he wasn’t too worried about it. ”Come here, Robin,” the man said again after backing away quite some distance, and the puppy trotted over to him happily, stumbling over his paws once or twice along the way. He was a clumsy puppy so far, but that was endearing, he would get a bit more lithe as time went on, the man knew. Most animals did slim up after they were done being actual babies, and he hoped that Robin would as well. Honestly he didn’t quite know what he was getting into, but that was fine as well, and as he praised the little puppy, he could see a sparkle in Robin’s eyes, and he wondered what was going on in his little head.

[Stay - 1]
He had to think he was doing rather well for himself, considering this was only the second animal he'd trained, that he could remember anyway. Obsidion looked down at the puppy and smiled before backing up, treat in hand as he told him, "Stay, Robin!" The pup whined and followed, and the man shook his head, "Robin, stay!" Robin looked surprised at the tone in his voice and stopped walking for a moment, long enough for him to get the treat the man held currently. He was surprised at this, the man had to know he was food motivated, so what did he think he was doing at the moment? It just didn't make much sense and it wasn't all that fair when it came down to things, and he pouted as he ate the treat, wondering what they were going to do and if it would even make it worth it, getting a treat.

[Stay - 2]
Obsidion rubbed the back of his head with a sigh, he knew the puppy was pretty stubborn when it came to food, but what could he really do right now anyway? Shaking his head, he took out another treat, and, making sure Robin saw it, started to back away, "Stay, Robin." He frowned when the puppy started to follow him, and he had to sternly tell him, "Robin, stay!" The Houluh whined and plopped down on the ground with a pout, upset that he wouldn't get the treat if he didn't do what the man was asking him to do. It was just so hard to do that when there was food involved... Obsidion smiled and tossed him the treat, which the Houluh took down in almost record time. He would be impressed if that was something to be impressed about, but for now he wondered if there was some other way to train him aside from food.

[Stay - 3]
At the very least he was a quick learner, and he knew the next thing he was going to teach him was going to be pretty tough, but he just needed to work on one thing at a time, he knew, and in order to do that, he showed Robin another treat. "Stay, Robin," he told him with a stern look as he started to back away, treat still in hand. Robin whined and took a few steps forward before stopping at Obsidion's look he had on his face. He knew that's not what he was supposed to do in order to get a treat, but at the same time he just couldn't help it! He loved food, and there wasn't much else he could do about that, was there? Robin munched on the treat he was tossed and the man folded his arms across his chest, wondering if he should look for some tips.

[Stay - 4]
It was hard to imagine that Robin would be able to listen well and do what he was supposed to do, but Obsidion figured that was part of the training, or at least that was supposed to be the reason behind the training, right? He held out another treat and started to back away, at the same time as saying, "Stay, Robin." The puppy took a step forward before stopping on his own before the man could give him the look that meant he was doing something wrong. He didn't know what was going on, but he knew he wasn't supposed to chase after the food, or the man really, and he was supposed to be in one spot whenever he said that. It made sense, but he really wanted that treat. Before he could start to fold and take another step, the treat was tossed to him and he munched on it thoughtfully, wondering if he had cracked the code.

[Stay - 5]
Happy with what was happening, the man ran a hand over his head again and then sighed, breathing deeply in order to lose the caught air he had in his lungs. Sometimes he seemed to breathe in more than he breathed out, was that actually a thing? Shaking his head, he focused on the animal again and then backed away, treat in hand. "Robin, stay," he told the little puppy with a stern look as he walked away, showing the treat as best as he could to the puppy. There was a whine, and Robin leaned forward a little, but didn't take a step. He knew this was how to do it in order to get the treat and do what he was supposed to do, so he would do it and that would be fine, he supposed. One of these days he would have access to that stash of treats, however, and the human would go down!

[No - 1]
This... would be a little more difficult, he knew. Frowning, he sat on the ground next to the puppy and patted him on the head before setting the pouch of treats on the ground in front of him as well. He palmed one of the treats and watched as Robin made a beeline for the pouch. "No, Robin!" he snapped, popping him lightly on the nose to help get his attention. Robin shook his head and yipped, glowering at the man for a moment as he wondered what was wrong with the man. This was weird, he'd never done something like that before, and while he knew the treats were his favorite thing too! Obsidion shook his head as the puppy backed up a bit and hoped that things would work out for him a little bit. At least he backed up though, he figured, and he gave the puppy a treat for doing a good job, as rough as it was.

It would work eventually, he knew, but for now things needed to be the way they were. Obsidion rubbed the back of his head and then popped Robin lightly on the nose once again when the puppy tried to make a move toward the treat pouch once more. "No Robin!" he snapped, eyes narrowing a little. Robin backed away from the pouch and then got a treat for doing something well. This might be working against him though, the man thought, and he frowned a little, hoping that he was doing this alright and nothing would have to be redone again because he just hadn't gotten it. It wouldn't be the first time something like that had happened, he supposed, but not to him that he knew of. Giving a shrug, he sighed a little and rubbed Robin's back, hoping that the puppy didn't feel too bad about getting popped on the nose.

Obsidion hoped that everything would turn out well at least, and he popped Robin lightly on the nose again when he moved toward the pouch again, "No, Robin!" Robin yipped and almost nipped a little at the man but thought better of it when it was all said and done. The man nodded a little and gave him a little treat, hoping that everything would turn out well and there would be no hard feelings about things. Giving a little sigh, he wondered if he should ask Nadia for some advice one of these days, but there was no way he would admit that he wasn't too confident about something around her. The very thought made him wince a little as he thought about it. Obsidion rubbed the back of his head and thought that maybe things weren't as bad as he was thinking they were, he was at least getting this training done, right?

Things were going well, but he realized he hated doing this training the most, which was a bit of a shame when it came down to it, because it was good for his animals to know at this point. Even Cookie needed to know, but he didn't know when he would get around to training her a few things. Frowning, he eyed the puppy and reached out to tap him again as he snuck forward, "No, Robin." He hadn't needed to do that though, the puppy froze and then backed up again, whining. Getting a small treat for his obedience, the puppy woofed low and wondered if everything was going to stay like this or not. It made sense, he thought, that he would keep learning a few things, but that wasn't the point, he figured as he munched on the treat he was given, giving the man a thoughtful look for a little bit. Hmm, this made sense for now, right?

Well, he couldn't think too badly about the puppy, he was just acting on instinct at least. Obsidion smiled a little and eyed the puppy as he edged closer to the pouch once again. "No, Robin," he said, maybe a little wearily at this point, but the puppy backed down with a sigh and flopped down onto his belly. He didn't know what the point of this was, but things were working out the way the human wanted them to. It didn't occur to Robin that he was being trained or anything, that he was actually retaining this knowledge for the future, but the man knew it was so. Obsidion rubbed the puppy's back for a bit as he wondered which thing to train him next, but he figured he would keep it the same way he had done for Mabel. It made sense, and it had worked well, right? No point in fixing something that wasn't broken.

Good for now, he figured it was time to move on again, this time to follow him around as he moved. Robin was good at that, seeing the treats definitely motivated him, but he needed to do it on command as well. Frowning a little, he pushed himself to his feet and stretched out. Maybe this hadn’t been the right time to do this, adopt a Houluh, but hey, he would meet the deadline if it killed him, he supposed. ”Follow me, Robin,” Obsidion told the pup with a little smile on his face, holding out a treat for the puppy as he started to walk. Robin stretched out and yawned before charging after him, getting a treat as they walked around, the Houluh a few steps behind him for now. That might change if he taught him how to heel eventually, but for now following was a good enough thing to learn and all that. Smiling, he hoped that people would think he had a well trained Houluh, but maybe he didn’t, maybe he wouldn’t, but that was alright at the same time as well.

Obsidion had a pretty decent idea that he was going to train Robin up pretty well, he just didn’t know what all he would train him whenever they were finished with these few things. A few attacks might be good, just in case of course, and he smiled a little. Of course he hadn’t taught Mabel any, that was up to Nadia to decide, she probably just wanted a companion. Obsidion held out a treat and walked away from the puppy again, ”Follow me, Robin!” The Houluh puppy charged after him and got the treat after a few moments of following closely. This was turning out rather well, if he said so himself, he knew, and he gave a little smile at the same time. Part of him didn’t want this to end, but most of him told himself he needed to get this training done as soon as possible. He wasn’t sure what to expect from things at the moment, but Obsidion knew that things needed to work out for him no matter what.

With everything going so well, he knew that he would most likely be keeping Robin no matter what. Smiling to himself, he held out another treat and started walking away from the Houluh, ”Follow me, Robin.” Robin sniffed the air and barked before scampering after the man, licking at the treat every now and then as they walked along. Obsidion was pleased, he knew the puppy was a quick learner and hoped it would stay the same whenever they got to a few more complicated bits, but he had no real way to know that yet, it would just happen when it happened, he supposed. Stifling a yawn, he hoped that they could get all this training done before it was time to head home, but they had awhile left to train until he might have to give Robin back to the HAA. Things would work out a little though, he knew they would.

Everything was going smoothly, and the man said it again as he started to walk away, ”Follow me, Robin.” The little puppy pranced behind him happily, sniffing the air a bit and whining a little when he realized he didn’t smell a treat. Obsidion laughed a little and slipped him the treat hidden in his palm. ”Right, can’t forget that right now, I suppose,” he told him with a smile before reaching down and patting him on the head. Robin licked at his hand a little, they were getting to be a little closer than the rest of them it seemed, and he hoped that things would work out between them whenever Robin was fully grown and breedable. That was what he was most excited for, for whatever reason, and the man smiled a little, hoping that he would throw some good pups for the future, though what that would bring, he had no idea.
