He's fairly confident in his ability to plot numbers in his mind, as he walks alongside the edge of the fence, close to the brambles as he could manage. Without stepping on any, he's being very careful. With standing right at the fence edge, as he came inside the place, Skylos moves a few steps inward, marking the ground with an exposed toe claw. Repeating the gesture every few steps... what is he doing? Measuring. The plots given out by the city seem to be much longer then wide, but perhaps that's just up to the whim of that monkey thing who stinks of banana. Skylos is no fan of fruit, because it tastes much too sweet for his taste buds and stains his fur. Little did he know about his new panicking 'rat', the creature bore one of the rarer fruits of the entire city. A "magical" berry that only comes during the winter. 103

Its impressively long, and as a opinionatedly new dog owner (namely for Kamari, who also needed to run off some energy), at least one hundred claw marks before reaching a fence 'edge' is impressive. If there was some sort of open field... Well, there is the park, but that's usually full of other creatures. Keep in mind self, the city gets very quiet in the middle of winter, so it could very well be open and able to be used. He more wants to make sure his animals don't bolt on him. Kitri and Kouta seem 'more' used to him, and Kamari either hasn't looked him in the eye yet, or she's more affectionate out of the box then other flesh and blood animals, who, like this rat here, are all panicked when in his range. Scrabbling the dirt madly, all the leaf scatter wants to do is go back to sleep. Is that too much to ask? And what on earth is scary eyes doing?! 104 [33 0/5 0/10 20/20] +1

Rubbing one of his fingers under his nose right around the split of his upper lip, Skylos' whiskers wuffle a bit as he ponders openly. Tail dusting the ground every now and then, and that's gonna be a bunch of time to brush it out. Rich and fancy people keep decorative gardens of live plants and beasts... so he should probably invest a bit of time into this place again. Perhaps bring out the dogs now and then. They can get into mischief while he's clearing foliage. Did he own any gloves still, ones that are designed for shorter, stubbier fingers? His own paws aren't that 'big', but still awkward enough to not fit into standard human gloves. Scratching the ground, moving, scratching the ground... was it marking its territory around here? The leaf scatter's panicks pause briefly because the scarry eyes is doing something that isn't bearing down on it, seeking to eat its poor self. 104 [34 0/5 0/10 1/20]

Perhaps... From what he can see, the brambles seem to grow over the fence from the next yard over. If he nails them with boiling water, it might kill the bramble and he could snip it at the top and roll the growth up and away. If anything, brambles made good kindling for a bonfire. Could the UN incursion group who hosted do with more bonfire fuel materials? He could make a penny on that. Just that; literally a penny. He doesn't remember seeing humans go around hauling logs to feed the fire that warms homes. Was this the convenience of human made technology again, with heating without wood? He doesn't know much about that, nor wants to know. If it works, great. If it doesn't, he freezes. He seems to be regarding the big prickles. The leaf scatter's aware that the prickles are not easy to get rid of. It may or may not remember previously of other humans trying to tame the foliage and failing. 105 +1 Mouro
