[At Ease – 5]
Jack watched as Luna wandered around a bit, though she was still a little tense, Jack knew she was much better. The tension slowly slipped though, as the man walked by, and he gave her an appreciative nod. Not that a Houluh could do a lot of damage, but it still wouldn’t be fun to be attacked by one. Generally they weren’t very aggressive, but Luna was a little different it seemed. Jack patted her on the head when she came by again, and she snorted a little bit in the direction of the man, but was calm, much better than she had been at first. Jack knew that things were going to be alright after awhile, but she didn’t know what else to do at the moment. Maybe she needed to be around more people for some training, but who would agree to that at this point? She sighed, she just needed to think it over.

[Accept Blood/Scary Sights – 1]
Jack had something that would help her out in the long run, she knew. She grabbed the mask from the bag and a vial of blood and smeared it on the mask. The woman let the Houluh come over and sniff it, though it took a little while to get her to come over to her at that point. Sure, while she had a lot of things that could scare a pup, nothing had gotten quite this close to her before, she was sure of it. Luna whined a little and wasn’t sure what to do about things for awhile. Jack sighed a little, she wasn’t sure what to do about things as of yet, and that was fine she figured with a low chuckle. Luna was still scared of it, and she didn’t really blame her, it was a weird looking thing after all. The blood just helped it and it made the Houluh’s nose twitch a bit as well.

As she shied away from it, the woman called her over to her again. Sooner or later she would put on the mask and see what that did to her, but for now she would be nice. That was interesting at least… Jack chuckled at herself and stuck the mask in front of her, covered in blood and strange looking, right at the pup. Luna whimpered and ran off again, tail tucked between her legs. Jack was sure the little pup would see worse in her lifetime, but she had to figure out what was going on at this point. She frowned a little, Luna needed to toughen up a bit if they were going to do any of this correctly, and this was the best way to start. She wasn’t doing this because she was mean, she was doing this because she loved the pup and wanted to make sure she would do well with things.

[Accept Blood/Scary Sights – 3]
She didn’t know if it was working, the pup was just scared and that wasn’t good. Jack sighed a little and shook her head, she didn’t know what was going on at the moment and all that, but she knew she needed to work harder on things. Honestly, she just wasn’t sure how to do things with the Houluh. Jack held it out again after calling her over and Luna gingerly leaned forward and sniffed at it, before running off, yelping, when she shoved the mask at her a little bit. Sure, maybe she should let her do this at her own pace, but scary animals weren’t going to do that to her either. Luna had to be prepared for things at this point, she figured, and she smiled a little at that, wondering what to do at the moment and all that. Hopefully she would calm down soon, but she had a hard time believing herself with that.

At least she thought the Houluh was trying, though she wondered if she was trying hard enough at this point. She shied away from the mask as much as possible, and she wondered if it was partly because of the blood as well or if it was just the mask itself. Jack frowned a little, either way she would need to get used to it and all that, she figured. She showed her the mask again and Luna skipped away with a bark and a growl, glowering at the mask again and sniffing at it a little. This was a good thing though, it seemed like she was getting a little bit better no matter what, at least she wasn’t fleeing in terror or anything. Jack pushed a hand through her hair and sighed, this was going to take longer than the rest of the training had so far, but that was fine, they had all day.

Everything would be fine no matter what and all that, and she knew the Houluh would get it down a little bit later, she just had to work on it for quite a bit more at this point. Jack still sighed though, it was hard to do this no matter what. At least she knew things were getting better and all that, and she smiled a little as she tossed the mask at the Houluh, no one else would go easy on the pup, she wasn’t going to be easy on her either when it came to something like this. Jack pushed a hand through her hair and sighed as the pup shied away from it with a yelp. Well, she wasn’t fleeing in terror, so that was a good thing, she was just moving around it at this point. Still though, it was going to take a little while longer to get this done, unfortunately.

The mask would probably even startle the woman if she woke up and it was in front of her face, but it would probably do that to the most stalwart people out there too. Still, the pup needed to be brave in the face of, well, everything, so she needed to learn to calm down a bit. Jack picked up the mask and then tossed it at her again, grinning a little when she growled instead of whimpering a little bit. She still shied away from it, but she didn’t know what else things were going to do at the moment. Shaking her head, she went to pick it up again and then yawned a little. So far they’d worked on quite a few things! It was good, but they still had quite a bit of things to do, she didn’t know what else to work on though at the moment, which was a problem.

[Accept Blood/Scary Sights – 7]
If anything, at least she was doing a bit better, right? Jack looked at the Houluh for a moment and then shoved the mask at her. Luna growled and then barked at it, jumping back just once in surprise. Maybe things were working out after all… She grinned a little and reached out to pat her on the head, just a little bit longer and she figured they could move on. She had to know how to fight in the dark, so she might as well train her to work in the dark, she figured. Jack pushed her hair back and nodded, that’s what she would do, it didn’t matter that it was daylight, she had a way around that at the moment and all would be well. Or at least, as well as it could be at this point. Part of her wished she had a training buddy to work with, but it wouldn’t last long, it never did, did it?

[Accept Blood/Scary Sights – 8]
Without a doubt she was doing better, when she threw the mask at her again, the pup just stared at it for a moment and then walked away. Jack picked it up and put it on, chasing after Luna for a little bit while she growled. Luna seemed to have great fun with it and ran around barking happily, not in the least bit frightened of her in the mask. Taking it off, Jack laughed a little and stashed it away in her bag again after wiping the blood off of it. At least that was done and over with, but she wasn’t sure what to do next quite yet. What was she thinking, of course she did, it had to do with night time and all that. Giving a grin, she looked around for a little bit and then zeroed in on the pup again. This would be interesting, indeed, she figured.

[Accept Darkness – 1]
Jack looked at the pup for a little while, letting her play without learning anything, and then pulled a thick black sack from her bag. She was used to doing this at night, but this would work just as well. The woman called her over and let her sniff the bag before trying to push it over her head. Luna just wriggled out of her reach and barked angrily at her. The woman frowned a little and shook her head, of course she wasn’t going to trust something over her head, but she had to make peace with the darkness, so off she went again, calling her over. Luna edged close to her and Jack made to put it over her head again, only to have her run off once more. Jack snorted angrily and glowered at her a little bit before calling her back over and having her pose in front of her. Maybe this would help.

[Accept Darkness – 2]
Luna looked miserable as she posed in front of the woman, staying as still as possible as the bag was placed over her head. She yelped and ran off when she felt it tighten just a tough around her throat, and she bolted, trying to get it off of her at the same time, but it wouldn’t slip over her head, her ears were too big. Jack called to her, trying to get her to calm down, but she couldn’t catch her. Finally she yelled at her to stay and the Houluh pup stayed put for a little while, enough to where the woman could reach her and pick her up. She should have done that anyway, but… Shaking her head a little, she didn’t know what to do with things right now and that was fine, but as she held the shaking pup, she realized she probably could have done this a better way, she just didn’t know how.

[Accept Darkness – 3]
Jack held her and spoke to her softly as she shivered, trying to see throughout the darkness, but she couldn’t see anything and she didn’t like it! She continued to shiver and looked around wildly, trying to see if she could see anything, but nothing was there for some reason. It had to be the bag, but she didn’t know why the woman had done this to her, it just didn’t make sense! Jack smoothed down the fur on Luna’s back and she whispered to her happily, trying to get her to calm down a little and look around in the bag. She didn’t know if this was going to work, her tail was still tucked firmly between her legs at this point. It was fine, she knew what was going to happen, she was going to get used to it and then not mind after awhile if something was put over her head.

[Accept Darkness – 4]
Sitting down, she held onto the pup firmly, wondering what was going to happen with her. She sighed a little, it all made sense, being scared of the dark, there were things out there that couldn’t be dealt with at the moment. Poor little Luna knew of some of the things that went bump in the night, and she acted like she wasn’t afraid to help out the others and to look tougher, but she knew, deep down, that she was afraid of the dark a little bit. She shook still, though maybe a little less than before when she knew the woman was right there, she could smell her through the bag. Jack stroked her back some more and whispered to her as she held her close, hoping this would work and it wouldn’t require more work later to get her to be better than she already was. She just needed the experience with it, she figured.

She knew it was taking effect, however, when she realized the pup was breathing a little easier and she wasn’t shaking as much. It was nice to see things were going well so far, and she knew it was only a matter of time before things were all better and she wouldn’t be so upset with the woman for awhile. Jack smiled a little and stroked her back a little some more, feeling the soft fur under her hand as she held onto her. Finally she stopped shaking and she gingerly went to lick one of Jack’s hands, making her chuckle a little and hug her. She needed to figure out what to do with her at the moment, and she put her down and stood up, watching as Luna stalked around on stiff legs for the moment. It was going to be fun, and she knew that she couldn’t help but think of things going wrong right now.

[Accept Darkness – 6]
No, nothing would go wrong right now she knew, and she smiled a little as she watched Luna start to loosen up a bit as she sniffed around, walking a little less stiffly than she had before when she had been put down onto the ground again. It was interesting watching her blossom from a frightened little pup to a protective one, and she certainly was that at this point. She always had fun though, she always tried to, and Jack knew it was only a matter of time before she was done with this. Pushing a hand through her hair, Jack knew she could manage to figure things out before it was all done, though she wasn’t quite sure what to train her next. It wasn’t like she needed to learn too much stuff like this, right? Or did she… Hmm, it might not be too bad to do the whole regiment, she figured with a smile, and she got to thinking immediately.
