[Come - 5]
Jack nodded to herself and whistled again, watching as Snow reluctantly trotted over to her and sat down in front of her, looking at the treat pouch expectantly. She chuckled and patted him on the head before giving him a smaller treat and then sent him on his way. He'd gotten that much down and all that, but what was she going to do about the rest of the training? Scowling to herself a little, she hoped that she was going to do this well and all that, but she didn't know what to expect from him whenever things got a little rougher. A sigh escaped her, she just wasn't cut out for this kind of thing, she told herself with a little frown, and all she could do was keep herself moving in the cold air and the snow, hoping that Snow would realize what she was doing was for his own good eventually.

[Stay - 1]
Now that he knew his name and when to come to her on command, she figured stay was the next best thing. That was the usual order with things as well, she knew, and she sighed a little and bundled herself up a bit more against the cold. Snow didn't have a problem with it, but that didn't mean he liked it, he figured as he waded through a particularly deep bank of snow. He was tired of being out here, they both knew it, but there was a lot more ground to cover today, she knew. Jack cracked her fingers a little and then smiled, "Snow, halt." She walked away and, curious, he followed after her, though a low, rumbling growl emitted from his throat. "Halt!" she snapped again and tossed him a treat when he paused, startled. Grinning, she nodded and then looked to the sky, at least the sun was warm...

[Stay - 2]
Jack turned and started to walk again, glancing back to see Snow slowly following her. She turned around and snapped, "Halt!" Snow stopped in his tracks, surprised by the forcefulness in her voice, and growled again before getting another treat. It would sink in eventually she knew, but that was going to have to happen sometime later, they'd only just begun after all, and she knew it was going to be interesting getting things together at the same time. Jack pushed her hair back and smiled a little, wondering what she was going to do with all of the Houluh she knew she was going to get in the future. It all started with Luna, of course, but Snow was a close second at this point. She just knew she needed to kick things into full gear if she was going to get this done eventually, that was the point of all of this, right?

[Stay – 3]
If only there was an easier way for things to be done, she would probably do it at this point. All the things she had to do was a little overwhelming, and she wondered what to do at the moment. Of course there was still a lot of training to be done with Snow, but for now she figured she should work on some of the easy stuff and all that. ”Halt! she told him, holding her hand out with a frown on her face before walking away a little while. The curiosity got the best of him for a moment and he took a step or two forward before she snapped at him, ”Halt, Snow!” The Houluh stared at her for a moment and then shook his head and stopped walking, plopping down on his rump and growling low in the back of his throat. At least it was a step in the right direction, though she didn’t know what else to do.

Whatever she did, she would have a well behaved Houluh soon, or so she hoped. Jack sighed a little and shook her head, wondering what she was going to do with Snow right now. He was growling and pawing at a stick for the moment, and she snapped her fingers to get his attention and put her hand out again without saying the word before starting to move. The woman kept an eye on him as she walked around, and at the beginning he took a step, but then he stopped and gave a soft growl, showing that he was doing a little better and listening a bit easier at this point. Of course it helped that he was starting to trust her a little bit and all that, but she didn’t know just how far that was going to go right now. Pushing her hair back and then resettling her hat on her head, she tossed him a treat and then stood there with her hands planted on her hips, trying to decide something.

Maybe training him some combat moves would be the better idea, but she really didn’t know at this point. Sighing a bit, she smiled a little and then held her hand out, palm out toward the Houluh pup, and then walked around again. Snow growled low but didn’t move from the spot, getting a treat as a reward when she was done walking. Whistling, he trotted over with a snarl, as though he was compelled by something outside of his control to walk over to her. He didn’t like it, but he would do it just to see if something would happen. Plus he liked the treats pretty well it seemed. Jack grinned a little and shook her head, wishing she knew what to do with him. There was plenty of other things for them to do, but she didn’t know what to expect from the pup at this point. Oh well, it would all work out in the end.

[No – 1]
With everything that was said and done, he was a decent pup to train, if a little aggressive. That would smooth out once they worked with each other some more, even now he was getting a little more behaved, maybe she should have worked with him before Luna, but that was too far gone now. She smacked him on the nose and scolded him when he went to try and jump for the treat bag, ”Snow, no!” She didn’t know how effective this training would be when his name sounded so much like the code word being used, but she figured it would all work itself out in the end of it all. All she had to do was keep going the way she was going and everything would be fine. At least, that’s what she was hoping and all… No matter what, at least she could be happy with his training so far, she figured.

[No – 2]
”No!” she snapped again when he lunged at the bag, smacking him across the nose and shoving him to the ground, though lightly, truly. It would more hurt his feelings than anything else at this point, which was really what he needed right now. Jack chuckled a little as he looked at her with wounded pride, but he sulked off a little and eyed her some more. She knew it was a matter of time before he went for it again, and she would be there when he did. All she could do was wait for the opportunity to present itself and then she would do well for him when all was said and done. Giving a little smile, she chewed on her lip a little and shook her head as she watched him, and finally he crept over to her and she patted him on the head, earning a bit of a nip from him, which she popped him on the nose again and told him once more, ”No!”

[No – 3]
Snow looked wounded and yelped a bit as he ran off after that, licking his nose a little as he glared at the woman. He didn’t know what was going on, but he didn’t like it at all, she’d never done that before! All things considered, she hadn’t done anything else with him before, however, and that was fine by him. The fact that she wanted to do something with him now didn’t matter to him at all, it just didn’t make sense to him as to why she finally wanted to mess with him. He did fine by himself! The pup went for the bag again and was told rather sternly, ”No!” Jack stepped out of the way instead of popping him on the nose this time, and he landed behind her, a little surprised. Snow wasn’t sure what to do about all this, but it was definitely bothering him, which didn’t work out for him at all at this point.

Jack watched him and turned around so she could see him better, then pointed at him when she saw him gearing up to lunge at the treat bag again, ”No, Snow!” The Houluh snarled and stalked around her a little, but at least he didn’t jump. She figured this was a great leap forward, and it meant they could get to some more fun things soon enough, though there was still plenty to do for now at the same time. Jack kept an eye on him as she thought about what to do with him, there wasn’t much she really could do with him at this point, he was too aggressive to be a guard dog, and he couldn’t really watch things without wanting to attack them, but that was all he was really geared for, which was a shame. Maybe if she could get the aggression out of him and change it to simply being aloof, then everything would work out for her in the future.

The woman saw him step again, and she pointed at him sternly and gave him a look, ”No.” The pup growled deep in his throat but sat down and shook his head a little, wondering what to do with things at the moment. He was being thwarted at every opportunity, so maybe he would try for it when she least expected it, that would make sense, and he would have to wait for quite some time or else she would definitely see it coming. Frustrated, he barked, and she tossed him a treat for doing a job well done. It was all she could do to keep from hugging him, but she knew that wouldn’t end well for either of them if she tried it. All she could do was keep things going for now, especially now that their momentum in training was picking up quite a bit at this point. Hopefully she could get to some fun things soon.

[Sit - 1]
Snow was a little upset about things at the moment, why was he listening to her anyway? It just didn't make sense at this point, but everything would be alright in the end. Snarling a little, he glared at her as she said a new word, crossing her arm over her chest, "Sit.". Jack pushed down on his rump until he sat down and then said it again as she fed him a treat, "Sit." The woman crossed her arm over her chest again to try and reinforce the movement as well with the command, just in case she needed to give him visual cues instead of verbal and all that. It was going to be fine she figured as she watched him eat the treat, gobbling it down as fast as he could with a wary eye on her for now. He didn't really trust her or anything, so he was going to have to get creative to get away.

[Sit - 2]
Everything was going to be fine she thought, he would get trained up, she would get him registered, and then she would work with Kanellos some as well. All would be okay at this point, but she had to keep working if she was going to get this done. She really had to settle in and keep working or else this was going to take even longer for them to get this finished. "Sit," she said again, giving the command and the visual cue as well, her arm across her chest from the elbow to her fist. Jack chuckled when he finally sat down when she moved to push his rump down again, but she didn't have to touch him or anything at this point. He sat down when he saw the hand coming for him, but at least she didn't think he was afraid she was going to hit him, he didn't cower, just scowled and settled down.

[Sit - 3]
Jack let him up again for a little while, watching as he wandered around to try and figure out what to do for the moment. She still needed to get him trained, but that wasn't the point right now. She needed to figure what all she was going to train him, that was the hard part. Giving a little sigh, she gave both commands again, "Sit." Smiling, she watched as it took him a few moments but he finally sat down and stared at her, getting a treat for his efforts. Honestly she couldn't wait to work with Kanellos, though the other pup seemed to not enjoy getting dirty or wet or anything, but she would cross that bridge when she came to it she figured. Jack patted the Houluh on the head and earned a small nip in return, for which she smacked him lightly on the nose for his efforts.

[Sit - 4]
Without a doubt, at least he was managing to do much more at the moment. Jack smiled and shook her head a little bit while she thought about things, at least she was getting somewhere, he was only nipping instead of biting and all that, which was certainly a step in the right direction, but wasn't perfect yet. "Sit," she told him again, and smiled when he almost immediately sat down, staring at her again until he glanced down at the pouch that held the treats. Chuckling, the woman gave him one and patted him on the head again, only this time he was much more distracted by the treat to nip at her or anything like that. Jack smiled and glanced toward the sky, wondering when the sky would clear up, but it looked like it was going to get nasty out after a little while, she didn't want the pups to be out in this.
