Higher - 5
How was she supposed to get him to understand that they were going over the fence whenever the training was complete? She sighed a little and patted him on the neck a little before pulling up on the reins a little bit more, wondering if he was going to understand this training or not, she really didn't know what was going to happen, and that was fine with her. It was always iffy on what was going to happen with training, and she knew that things were going to be able to get through training and all that in the end. As Jack pulled up on the reins, Ergo went a little higher again in the air, hovering in the air for the moment before finally dropping back to the ground, wearing himself out a little as time went on. His wings were still pretty fragile after all, he hadn't been flying for too long she knew.

Higher - 6
Pretty soon things were going to work out, she just needed to figure out how to get through to him whenever they got started on the harder moves and abilities, like his psychic moves, the ones he came with and the ones he needed to branch out toward when the time came. She chewed on her lip a moment and had him fly again, though this time he went a little higher than normal and she pulled him up even higher into the air, steering him toward the fence once again, but yet again he faltered and shook his head, making the reins slap against her hands a little as she worked with him. She didn't know what she was going to do about things, but that was alright, she wasn't sure what was going to happen but she knew it was going to be good no matter what. Jack shook her head much like Ergo did, and she didn't know what the outcome was going to be.

Whatever was going to happen was going to happen, she knew that, but she hoped she could make some of it happen to her advantage instead of against it. Ergo went up into the air again and she pulled the reins up once again, hoping that he was going to go higher and higher, and he did, though he still shied away when he saw the fence below him. He was going to have to get over that if he was going to be a decent aerial mount of course, she figured with a smile on her face. She wondered what was going to happen if he didn't get it, but she wasn't going to let one of her animals only be half trained with this sort of thing, so she was going to keep going no matter what! Jack nodded at herself, determined. She was going to get this done no matter what.

Higher - 8
There was nothing saying she had to stop yet, and she knew she needed to keep on going before she was through with this one, she just wasn't sure how else to make him go over the fence just yet. Jack chewed on her lip a little as she thought about it and then gave a bit of a shrug. While she wasn't completely sure of things just yet, at least she had a bit of an idea so far... Jack pulled the reins up again and kept the halfbreed's head up in the air as they flew forward over the fence, finally! Things were looking up so far and she wasn't sure what else to expect for the moment, but she knew he was going to have to get over his fear of flying over things if they were going to do this right. Out of the corral, Ergo finally noticed they were outside of the fence and started to spook a little.

Ergo shifted a little when he realized he was outside of the fence and tried to angle himself back to where he was inside of the corral again. She was surprised he didn't try to touch down again and then vault over the fence, but she supposed he didn't really know how to do that at this point in time anyway. Jack shifted in the saddle when he moved again and then pulled up on the reins again, wanting him to go ever higher. He relented against her commands and went higher, though he was only satisfied and his eyes went back to their dead selves when they headed back for the corral, his wings flapping lazily on either side of the woman as they did so. He knew it was only a matter of time before the woman made him powerful, but he had no idea just how powerful he was going to become in the end of it all.

Higher - 10
Things were looking up, literally, as she pulled him higher and higher into the sky, just in time for the rest of the training. She figured he had this down by now, and as they circled over the corral, she wished she had put a marker down on the ground for the next few bits of training, but oh well she thought with a shrug, she could improvise, it's what she seemed to be best at during training. Chuckling a little to herself, she shook her head and patted Ergo on the side as he flew around the inside of the corral, rather high in the air too as things went along, and she hoped he would be able to figure out the next training without much difficulty. It was going to be difficult, she figured at the same time, and she hoped he was going to understand they weren't going to crash as long as he trusted her.

Dive - 1
As they circled the corral up in the air, Jack fingered the Ribbons she had tied to her upper arm. She still wasn't sure if she wanted to give one to Ergo, she didn't know what they would talk about really, or if it would truly be an advantage for her to have him have one. Would it help her or hurt her in the long run? She didn't know what being hooked up to a mind like his would be like anyway, would it injure her physically or mentally? The woman just didn't really know. She sighed and leaned forward in the saddle, pulling down on the reins a little and smiling when Ergo dropped a little from the sky, though not enough to really worry about just yet. "Good boy, Ergo!" she told him, handing him some bugs that he ate while he flew around in circles in the sky.

Dive - 2
So far so good, but they'd barely even begun, so she wasn't too confident that things were going to go well no matter what. These were a little difficult, though not as difficult as some of the other things she wanted him to learn in the future of course. She chuckled at herself and wondered what she was going to do with herself at the moment, she really didn't know, but that was alright right now she supposed. Jack shrugged her shoulders, stretching them out a little along with her neck, and she hoped that he was going to learn this easily enough. Making sure she leaned forward in the saddle again, along his neck, she pulled the reins down a little to signal that he needed to go down some more, and he did so with a little faltering in his wings. That was alright though, she was still pleased with his progress, he was learning this one a little easier than the last.

Dive - 3
Things were going well, she just didn't know if they were going to keep going for awhile or what. So far he knew all of his commands and was learning a new one, she just didn't know if he needed a little more experience around her or what. Maybe a trip to the Gym was in order, but what to train him in right now? She sighed a little and shook her head, she just didn't know, maybe everything at this point. Another sigh as she leaned forward against his neck, this time without the reins being pulled down, and the halfbreed still managed to go down a little more, though not enough to really call it a dive. He was hesitating, something she didn't like for him to do, didn't like for any of her animals to do, and she hoped that things were going to get a little better sooner or later, preferably sooner though.

Dive - 4
Jack sat on Ergo's back as he flew around for a little while, pulling him a bit higher into the sky as she did so, if only so they actually had some space to work with this new trick. She sighed a little and rubbed her face with a single hand, wondering why she was working so hard on this kind of stuff when the more fun stuff was going to happen later on in the training. Oh well, it didn't matter too much she supposed with a little frown on her face as she looked around in the sky. There was a time when she was scared of this, but no more thanks to Ashe. Leaning forward, the woman gave the halfbreed the signal to go down again, and he obliged her by slowly descending until he was almost to the ground, and she had him pull up again so he wouldn't hit the ground. They weren't ready for that yet.

As she pulled him higher, she figured he had this by now, though maybe not as fast as she would like, but that would come with practice and all that. Giving him a smile, a pat on the side, and a treat of a handful of bugs he ate with his odd, vertical mouth, she wondered if they would almost be done with all of this or if it was time to keep going. She really wasn't sure, but she thought he had it down by this point, and she leaned forward against his neck again to keep him going down, which he did so with much more gusto than he had in the past. This was good! He almost landed as well, but she pulled him up before he did so, they weren't quite ready for that yet, almost, it was the next thing on her list at least at this point.

Land - 1
Now was the hard part, getting him to land whenever he was in the air. Sure he could probably do it himself, figure it out and all that, but until then she needed a command for whenever they were going to land. She frowned and chewed on her lip, unsure of what the motion should be or if she should actually tell him something whenever time went on. No, she would just lean forward until he touched down, that should be easy enough, right? Jack nodded and then leaned forward in the saddle, against his neck, and then smiled when he started to descend until he was almost on the ground, and his feet hit the ground with a thud and he tumbled head over heels as he tried to skid to a stop. Not the most elegant of landings, but hey, at least they were on the ground? Literally at this point, Jack figured as she dusted herself off after being thrown from the saddle.

Jack finished dusting herself off and remounted the halfbreed with a little smile on her face. She loved this kind of thing, even though things weren't really going her way. Unsure of how to proceed, she went ahead and gave him the command to go up into the air and then flew around the corral for a little bit. He was still not sure about going over the fence, which was fine when it came along he supposed, but what was supposed to happen? As they flew around, she leaned down on his neck again and didn't let up until his feet clumsily hit the ground and he ran a few steps to catch up with himself. Things weren't going too well, but at least they hadn't crashed again, she could call that a good thing, right? He went to his knees though, finally, and struggled to get up again with her weight on his back, but he was strong enough and finally got to his feet.

Land - 3
Things were going well with this training, or at least that's what she thought at the moment. Jack shrugged her shoulders back and trotted Ergo around a moment before letting him lift up into the air and soar around inside of the corral again. Once more she leaned forward against his neck and he slowly descended until his feet touched ground again. Stumbling, he ran a few steps before he turned into a trot, then a walk as he went around the inside of the fence to the corral. Jack smiled and patted his neck before digging around in her treat bag and giving him a handful of bugs to eat for doing such a good job. They weren't connected yet, it was going to be awhile before that happened, but already he was starting to learn a little faster at this point she figured with a little smile on her face. That's how things were going to happen at the moment, she thought.

Land - 4
At least this landing went a lot better than the last two, she had to give him that much, at least he hadn't gone down to his knees and all that. Jack patted him on the side much as she would do to a full blooded Equillion and then took him to the sky again, once more inside of the corral no matter what they did. She was going to have to break him of his habit of staying inside of the fence and all that sooner or later she supposed, but for now it was alright. Giving him the signal to go back down to the ground, she leaned against his neck and then smiled as he touched down on the ground easily enough, simply moving into a walk from being in the sky and sniffing around at the grass, his dead eyes taking in everything and nothing all at once.
