Jack wasn't a huge fan of going into the Mansion anymore for some reason, she just didn't like the place moving around all around her when it came time for the month to change. She yawned a little, the moon was high in the sky and she thought about heading home, but decided against it. If she needed to she and Zsa could sleep outside of the Mansion, or perhaps brave the inside of it after a bit and all that just in case, which she would probably end up doing when she thought about it. She would rather have a bed than anything else, like a pile of leaves, if she had the option at least. At least this month she might not get wet, she was a little tired of that at this point. Her feet still hadn't recovered from the previous couple of months, to which she chuckled, making Zsa give her a nasty look.

All she had to do was keep going at the moment, the trees were still dropping a few leaves and all that, though they were very dry and crunchy. Jack reached up and plucked one from a nearby tree with a little smile on her face, she liked fall leaves, they were pretty and colorful, though she didn't like pine trees as much. They weren't as nice in the fall, though it was interesting to see fully needled trees next to seemingly dead regular trees like birch or oak with no leaves. The contrast was astounding, and she put a hand on the little hatchling's head as they moved around the trees a little, finally reaching what appeared to be a graveyard. It was interesting to see something like this in the Mansion's grounds, but she figured it fit the theme pretty well, the owner had to have some idea of what they were doing.

The headstones were all written on, or at least engraved, and the woman and the Sarane stared at them for a long while. Zsa glanced over at the woman to see how she was taking it, she knew there were issues in her past, not like the little Hen cared much for the woman, but it was interesting to see how she reacted. Much to her surprise, she was smiling and reaching out to touch the nearest headstone, as though trying to assert that they were, in fact, real. Jack touched the stone and a few flakes crumbled off under her fingers, making her draw them back quickly after she had touched it. Maybe that wasn't the best idea, but she doubted there was anything alive under those to make her feel bad about messing with them. At least she had some idea of what to do at the moment, even though she didn't know what it was.

Jack glanced over when she heard some noises and was surprised at what she saw. Two little things were fighting over a couple of leaves, and so she walked over with Zsa and stared for a moment. She wasn't sure what to do while the two of them were tussling, did one of them have a knife? Tilting her head, she figured this was what she got for coming in October, but that was fine as well she figured with a little chuckle. Maybe now she wouldn't be upset about getting gipped any other time she came here or something. Jack smiled a little and reached down, happy she had a container for the more messy of the pocketpets. While she wasn't sure what she was going to do with things as of yet, she was sure things would work out in the end of it all. She just hoped she was right.

She reached down and plucked the slimy monster up and put it into the carrying case in her bag. She wanted to separate the two of them so they weren't fighting in her bag. Zsa wasn't sure what to do with things and sniffed at the one with the knife in it's hands, making her snort a little when it stabbed at her. Jack smiled and patted her on the head, she was getting big... almost half her full size at this point, which wasn't like things were going to be. She just hoped things were going to be fine whenever she got big enough to break. Giving a little shrug, she patted the little Sarane on the head and then moved on to look at the remaining items the Mansion had deemed her worthy enough to find. At least there was something, she had to be happy with that at the moment.

All she had to do was grab the little knife wielding pocketpet and shove it into a container. At least that was the theory so far. Zsa wasn't too impressed with her thought though, considering she would probably get cut if she grabbed it. Jack tilted her head at the little thing and then reached down gently and picked it up, dropping it into a container whenever it sliced her finger open. The woman swore and dropped her bag, jostling the two little pocketpets in their carriers and glaring at Zsa as the hatchling smirked at her. It didn't matter, she figured as she stuck her finger in her mouth to help stop the bleeding. It was also a good thing she had bandages with her, just in case, and she wasn't sure what was going to happen or what was going to help, but that was fine at the same time she figured with a little sigh.

Jack sat down next to Zsa, who was playing with a couple of leaves at the moment that Jack wanted to grab when she had the chance, and then opened up her bag. Inside was a plethora of items for the moment, and the woman smiled a little when she saw them. At least she had some antibiotics and bandages with her at this point. Grabbing a few, she dabbed some ointment on her wound and then wrapped it up tight with a bandage, sighing as she did so. Zsa was being a brat, imagine that, but that didn't mean she couldn't keep looking for things for the moment. Jack stretched out her arms and shoulders for a little bit with a smile on her face. Her finger already felt better and she would be more careful in the future, that was all she could really ask for, wasn't it? She thought so at least.

The woman scowled at the Sarane when she kept playing with the leaves, and finally pulled her back a little, having to heave just a bit, and grabbed one of the leaves. It had a waxy feel to it, which was strange, but she shrugged and stuffed it into her bag all the same. At least she had things to do at this point, and she wasn't sure what else to do at the moment. Zsa still had another leaf in her mouth, but that didn't matter to her right now, Jack figured she would let her have it, at least until she noticed it was waxy as well. Giving a little frown, the woman tugged it free of the hatchling's mouth, and she smiled grimly as she put it into her bag as well. Nothing was going to get in her way when it came to gathering things, least of all a bratty little Hen.

Jack stretched out a little with a smile, Zsa was getting big and that was good, she just knew that things were going to be fine in the long run. Of course she needed to break the female when she got big enough, but that was going to be a little ways from now at the moment. All she had to do right now was socialize her a little bit and collect things from the Mansion. That wasn't so hard, was it? Jack gave a little sigh and shook her head for a moment. It didn't matter much, she knew, but that was alright no matter what. At least she was doing something for once and not just sitting at home like she usually did when the weather started turning cold. This time, at least, her leg was better and everything would be fine! Or at least, she hoped it would be fine.

No matter what, at least she had something to do, she had to remind herself of that at the moment. Giving a small smile to the bag she was holding a few things in, and patting Zsa on the head, she looked around for a little bit with a yawn. It was still dark out, but the light was starting to flicker off in the distance. They'd been out for a long while at this point, which was no good for her sleep pattern. They were going to have to get inside and sleep pretty soon, but at the same time, she didn't want to sleep when Zsa was old enough to do some real damage or anything. The worst thing would be if she intentionally got herself hurt again, she couldn't handle it at this point. Jack sighed a little and patted the Sarane on the head again, this was getting old.

Jack glanced around again before heading toward the Mansion, wondering what was inside at this point. She just knew she hated going inside when she was socializing a Sarane, but what else could she do at the moment? At least she had some darts with her to sedate the big Sarane and she could always call Kro to her with the cart to get her to the Pit to break her. She remembered what it was like when everyone wanted a Sarane or two or three, and she chuckled a little at the thought. She had several of them but didn't know what to do with them all, but it wasn't like she could get rid of any of them at this point. Jack pushed a hand through her hair and patted Zsa on the head before she realized they had stumbled across another set of items from the Mansion this time.

A tattered cloak was on the ground under some leaves, it was black and had some holes in it, but it was still nicely made and she swung it around her shoulders to keep some of the biting cold off of her for awhile. Sure it was nighttime, but it was only a matter of time before the sun came up again and she and Zsa could warm up under the light. Or at least, she hoped that was going to happen, it could possibly be cloudy today, and it kind of seemed like that was going to be the case at this point. Giving Zsa a good rub on top of her head, she glanced around some more to see if there was anything else to pick up, and she was surprised to find that there were a couple of other things for her to grab as well, the Mansion was actually being nice.

Giving Zsa a smile, even though the Sarane hatchling was scowling at her as only a Sarane could do, she reached down and picked up a glass jar, glancing it over a little as she looked. It was a jar full of eyes, definitely something that would be found during this month of Vai Min Mur. A laugh escaped her and she hoped she didn't look hysterical in the cool night air or anything, but at least the cloak helped with some of the chill. The jar was placed carefully in her bag, she didn't want it to break and get eye juices all over her bag or anything, if they were real, but something told her they were. Jack popped both sides of her neck and kept a hand on the Sarane's neck for a moment, she wasn't sure what to think of at the moment, but that was fine, they just needed to get to the Mansion.
