Though it probably would have set Faebuck off earlier on during the year when she was much more irritable, she didn't seem to be bothered enough to get up and move or try to chase Renathan out of the area. The russet mammalian was thankful for that. He didn't really know how he was going to be able to get close enough to see if she was going to produce any sort of acorn for him this year. How was he supposed to check if he couldn't get too close? Perhaps it would be useful to him to actually train this particular creature... She'd make an even better 'guard' dog, wouldn't she? He mulls this over. He doesn't have a lot of time these days, but perhaps it would be a worthwhile investment. He lets his mind wonder as he closes his eyes and tips his head up, listening to the leaves rolled over by the wind in the trees. [9]

Renathan was quite tired from all that work he'd done recently, so it was perhaps little surprise that he fell asleep quite quickly. His chest rose and fell quite slowly as he relaxed against the bench. It was obviously an incredibly uncomfortable place to rest, but he practically melted into that harsh cast iron with how tired he was. He didn't begin to wake up until the sound of thunder cracks across the sky. He stirs, and feels the pain in his back immediately from having fallen asleep on such an uncomfortable spot. "Ooof-" He murmurs as he cracks his back again. The Dragonoak had also woke up, it seems. She was staring hard at the now quite overcast sky- in the direction of a much darker area where lightning was crackling in the clouds. It was still a decent distance away, but Renathan stood up to leave. The Dragonoak hops down from the stump, and then curls up inside of the hollow of the stump instead to avoid the storm. [10] - [Renathan goes home at this point.]
