There's a few new updates going on and we're excited to share them with you! 1. From now on, you can be in TWO mining threads at the same time! One is SOLO the other is WITH A FRIEND! Be sure you're only in two, and remember how loot rolls happen in the mining threads when you're with a friend. 2. We will be opening a new party thread in the mines! Anyone can be there as a bonus thread, your pets, items, and posts count only for yourself, but you can play with a lot of people you might not normally pair up with. 3. In the stats area, anything referencing "defense" now references "resistance". Make sure your strategies are updated for this new change. We're excited about new things happening, but something's appeared on the wall of the main Lab building. A strange map has been hooked onto the wall, and the table underneath holds many, smaller maps scattered across it, with a sign saying to take one now. What could this be hinting at...? Node Creation is Back!If you plan on using the Node creation system, please re-read the tutorial as a refresher.
I would also like to note that sadly, as of right now, we have no plans to bring the old system of creature sacrifice back. To be transparent, I figured it would be best not to bring over a defunct system while there is no idea as to what to do with it. Also, this has nothing to do with April Fools, I promise, so don't worry. C: Nothing has been changed about Node Creation, we simply brought over exactly what the past mods had for it 1:1.

Offspring Stats have now been Transferred!I am not perfect, so I am very sure I've made at least some mistakes. On top of this, the old threads were in no way up to date, or updated with folks' trades.Because of this, I need you to look at ANY offspring stat threads that may apply to your pets, and if anything is wrong, missing, or otherwise bad, please post in the Offspring Stat Updates thread to get these fixed. Registries are now brought over!Most of the old registries were out of date at best, and just plain wrong at worst. Due to this, there is very little that I have brought over from the other site, to minimize issues. Please re-register everything you currently own that applies, and please only post here and here to do so.I am super sorry that it will be a bit of a hassle, but updated information that is correct should be easier to handle from here on out. c: I found the custom functional items threads- go forth and get your info everybody!From here on out, please do not post in any threads that are the official threads* until after we have posted a News Post about it.
This is because it may not be ready for your use yet and may have issues that need to be hammered out.
Moderators are in no way perfect, so sometimes we are a little slow to finish an update.
This helps us keep the site running smooth, without everyone getting mixed up in the process.

Hi Folks, I should have done this previously but I didn't think about it at the time. c: I am perhaps a bit short-sighted, I apologize. Please post here about your concerns/noticed broken stuff!
I have been receiving a ton of PMs about all kinds of stuff, as well as c-box messages, and I'm beginning to have a hard time finding everything. I wanted to do something about that before it started getting out of hand. C: If we post them here, I will definitely be able to find them when it comes time to fix the stuff. This thread was created with the new knowledge about some changes that are being worked on (I wasn't a mod when the Broken/Wanted/Needed thread was made), and the old version of something similar (broken/wanted/needed) was horrifically out of date despite being a year old. You may notice that this thread has a note stating that there are some things that have been suggested a lot before, and that they don't need to continue being suggested.I can't say a whole lot, but we have something in the works for a quest system. ;3 Also, please post in that thread if you have any Suggestions for the site skin for Jack.This is -not- a guarantee that the thing you mention about the site skin will be fixed, or that your suggestion will be taken for it, but it will help Jack know what the populace needs/wants out of the site's skin.

Important Stat Fixes, Updates, and PatchesOkay, this is a BIG set of patches. I'd like to note that these were okay-ed by Spirit and were going to be implemented by the mods a long while back, but no one ever actually updated them. Some of these will not be popular. Some of these were simple cosmetic changes or explanations of previous stat-workings. All of these were absolutely needed.I just went ahead and implemented them to catch us up on the previous patches for the site. This is the List of things that were fixed today-Fix to Dawn Armor: Dawn Armor has been Removed, and split into new expertises. These are detailed in the Combat Expertise thread, the types of armor were separated into separate 'Dawn Armor' abilities. If you previously had 'Dawn Armor' please re-allocate your combat points to reflect this change. New expertise: Battlesuit Proficiency Ever wanted to actually use that TroD as a battle armor? There is a new expertise with it (in Vigilance) and they require quite a bit of work. It is doable, and probably worth it (if your character is plantigrade!). This new expertise allows you to learn how to use the TroD's abilities in battle.
Fix to TROD stats TroDs have had their stats updated to make the exoskeleton not quite so OP, it also has a quality of life change (Fly was a move for some reason?) and it explains how to learn to use those moves/abilities and use it as a battlesuit. New move legend: DoT (Damage Over Time) DoT (Damage over Time) has been clarified and defined, as well as being added to the moves that mention doing Damage Over Time (poisons, burns, bleeding, etc.). This is a HUGE update, perhaps the biggest update today? Please go over all of the moves again and readjust your battle strategies if you need to. Everything is explained in the Moves thread's legend.
Fix to Sarane Tutorial I know that Sarane breeding is defunct and probably will continue to be, but please check the sarane tutorial. Offspring now have their stats built completely differently- though this won't effect most Sarane due to it being more of a clarification of old rules. Your sarane should be fine, but please check them anyway, and get them updated if they are somehow wrong.
Fix to Injection Tutorial Your offspring that had parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, ad-infinitum with Injections can still have those abilities/moves pass on; but from here on out Offspring with ancestors that had injections can only ever inherit up to six added moves/abilities combined that came from injections originally. This is retroactive, if you somehow had an offspring that had more than six added moves/abilities specifically from Injected Alterations (please check) then pick six and get them updated. This does not stack with custom moves/abilities; so if you have a pet with six inherited custom moves/abilities, and four injected moves and abilities, that is fine! Just no more than six from just injections. This is required to keep balance of the site under control.
Alright, for now, this is everything. Please make sure to read/understand these and go check on them. This was absolutely needed for balance, so please keep that in mind.

So! I am a genius and pulled the money system before I transferred money into credits! Brilliant. So I will take everyone's credits x5 and that will be the last bonus anyone gets unless you transfer after this post.
I apologise, it's all my fault, so I will be fixing it sometime later today. If you want to post extra to get extra, be my guest, I really don't mind if the system is abused this once.
Edit: Everything is done with the credits, and anyone who had 0 now has 2000 from transferring over. No more extra credits from here on out unless you've transferred after this edit.

This was supposed to be with Yesterday's back patch (I derped!)
Master of Design (Skill) was supposed to have a cost of 5 Skill Points. It has now been edited back up to 5 from 2. Everyone that took Master of Design will need to make sure they have the points to keep it.

There have been lots of little fixes lately!
-Offspring Requirements thread was brought over. -Custom and Offspring threads were updated to remove creatures currently in the ZI from folks that had sold them to the ZI. -Draconics now have a bit more lore, and should be a tad easier to navigate. -Registry threads seem to be going good, We also have functional item threads up. -A few quality-of-life improvements have been done to the moves/abilities system to make it easier to read (I also fixed a lot of typos). -Jack has updated the Halfbreed naming list, please name your halfbreeds (it's fun!)
Also, the 'Money' system was a bust and is no longer being used. We had a bit of a mishap when bringing everyone's 'money' over to their post count, so we multiplied everyone's credits x5 (the number of money one would get for posting) even if you didn't really post. If you had no posts, the base was 2000. This was a one time mishap, and it benefited basically everyone. Your post count is now your credit count. c:

We are proud to be partnering with the Trepuldra to bring two new (old) features to the populace! Here are the deets;
-You may now use Magical Coins for their intended purposes, to buy things from the Dark Corners!
+Currently the features that are available for this are the following: Tat-Lung Conservatory & The Temple of Shadows (Undead Pets) +Your old Magical coins do still work! Please get them registered if you managed to hold on to them all these years. +You can now buy new (different than the old magical coins) magical coins from the Trepuldra! This will be posted in Darky's update for the shop shortly. +The Tat-lung Conservatory and The Temple of Shadows will be open as soon as we get them moved to their own areas. ;3
When using these features in the future, it is VERY important that you do lots of reading, and do them right! These are serious roleplaying-heavy features of the site, and childishness may have IC consequences! Also, be polite to the staffies during the process. C: This feature almost did not ever come back, it is a privilege.
Q&A: A- The Dark Corners will be opened AS SOON AS we open up the subforums for them. Shouldn't take long at all (a day at most!). A- Darky will be doing the art; so give them a lot of thank yous for agreeing to open these up and take the old coins! A- Your undead creatures stats will be done in concert by the mod team. You will have no say in your undead creature's stats.* *please don't throw fits about stats; this has been a problem in the past and it causes undue stress. :c

Yes, you heard that right; Monthly Quests are now being implemented!
The Quest area is specifically for your attempt to complete Monthly Quest. Quests will change each month; last month's quest threads will be locked at the end of the month when the next one starts. You are -heavily advised- to actually try to write story and not 'grind' because the system works a little differently than the mines and such! Whenever you 'succeed' (a moderator will post to give you little events every once in a while- you may get a 'succeeded' post!) you will receive a monthly item prize; different for each month! As well as (a) quest point(s). Quest Points can be used in the 'Quest Shop'; there is a rumor that this isn't the only thing that the shop will be used for... How mysterious! The quest shop has items that are unique to there, as well as credit vouchers and level (not loyalty) vouchers for specific pets. ;3 More prizes may be available in the future!
The first Quest will be ran starting this month and running to 06/01, so that we can test the system and make tweaks. That means that the first quest will be a 'Very Easy' quest and have low rewards, but it should also be quite easy to test! In the future, some quests will be harder and require more work/trained pets/leveled characters, but most will stay within the very easy-medium range. Harder quests will give more/better rewards once completed. There are NO participation prizes as of right now, it's all only 'success' prizes.
Q & A- A- I do the artwork for this area, not Darky. My artwork will not be as pretty because I am an amateur and have not been to art school. I will not be going to art school, I'll get better at my own pace. A- I am not getting 'paid' for my artwork (IE- money) so this is pretty much donated time on top of my other mod work. Please keep that in mind and be nice. (I know that I'm not the best!) A- More items will be added over time, but not a ton of them at once or very quickly. c; I also go to school, folks.

Secondary Characters are A-go!Secondary characters are now available to be bought again, but this time it is for credits or QP! You have several options, you can buy them monthly with credits, or buy them permanency for either credits or QP, if you have enough! A monthly character can be made a permanent character at any time you want to switch (for the price of course) but a permanent character never becomes a monthly character again.Link to Secondary Characters Buying Thread Link to QP Shop
-This works like any other shop, only with QP, and also if you are buying vouchers, feel free to not mention IC that the voucher is literally for a secondary account because your character probably wouldn't know that. xD [Please Register your Secondary account connected to your first account; using the Registries Updates system!]
