Tat-lungs didn't really yawn as fish, or at least that was something that Morgan had noted, and it was not altogether surprising perhaps that they were starting to be able to realize when tats were getting tired as fish just by looking at them. Perhaps Morgan was learning just as much as tat-lungs were? The human would have to ponder on this as well. The obtaining of knowledge was the most important thing, Morgan felt, within reason. Some evils were just naturally required, and as long as those were absolutely minimized and of course necessary, Morgan didn't think anything of them. Of course, with Tats it was different. They were so much higher than humans overall! The more Morgan watched and dealt with the tats, the more they realized this of course. "I can't tell how far away it is, you two." Morgan said. They used this phrasing instead of their names, since they didn't indeed know them quite yet. Morgan would explain them this on their first education day. That would be within the week, Morgan decided. They needed to work on this indeed, sooner rather than later. Who knew when the silver would hatch? Morgan didn't!

The human wasn't sure what it was about tats, or crystals, or chaos, or any of it. They felt lost often because so many things were going on at once. But that was life, right? Not everything could be particularly stable. Morgan tried to keep everything in their own little positions, but things just spilled out all the time. It was stressful. Morgan liked things to be orderly and neat. However, they had indeed chosen chaos, even if it wasn't a really conscious decision. How was Morgan going to find out that magic was real if they didn't at least try it? The chaos ones had been the easiest to get, and a means to an end at the moment. This came together to make their life as hectic as it was now, and that was entirely Morgan's fault. Morgan was still trying to triangulate where the pesky little crystal was, dragging the travel tank with them. They couldn't enter the brush, however, because they didn't want to cause the travel tank to get stuck. That would be more trouble than it was worth! Finally, Morgan started to feel like they were getting close. "Pao, Ondori- I think the crystal is nearby!"

Morgan hoped that they were indeed getting closer. It was about time for them to go home, the two little tats were having a hard time staying awake, after all. Morgan feared a bit that they would fall asleep before it was time to get home, and then they would probably wake up really early from a nap and drive their older brothers crazy. Morgan sighed, and continued on, carefully keeping their emotions under control. They had a hard enough time with it as it was, but today it seemed especially difficult to do. At least Seimei wasn't around, right? Seimei was a pearl, and that meant that he often seemed to understand more about Morgan's emotional state than Morgan understood theirself. It was a mess, sometimes. Hopefully the little red one wasn't like that too... Somehow, Morgan really didn't think that Pao was. She was something different... Already she was showy and impressive and perhaps a bit of a bully? Morgan had seen her already trying to boss around her older brothers, who were thankfully more amused by her, much like a human would be towards a baby, than annoyed by her. That wouldn't last long, if tats were anything like kids as youngsters...

Thankfully, at least for Morgan, tats seemed very mild as youngsters compared to human children. Morgan wasn't super fond of human children, at all, but with tats they were surprisingly the one that was often having to be dealt with... All of the tats had to be super patient with Morgan to deal with them, and Morgan knew that. Even these two small baby tat lungs were more intelligent than Morgan was, even if they didn't know as much 'stuff' yet. Morgan had to make sure to get them caught up fast, and then allow them to surpass Morgan at their own rates and all. They were always so fast with that! Ryuusei and Seimei were both way ahead of Morgan by the time Morgan had come into protectorship of them! Shigeru had a good week span where Morgan felt like they were teaching him, and after that it seemed like he was just dealing with Morgan. The human was sure that these two would probably not be less wise for very long either, and that kind of made them sad. Eventually, Morgan felt like they heard a noise in the bushes. What was that? Oh, one of those little goblin dudes again! Holding grapes?

That was certainly... Strange. Morgan was unsure about what was going on really, they weren't used to seeing stuff that almost looked like a bunch of humanoids running around the Mansion. Thankfully, these seemed to not be a sentient race, so Morgan didn't feel so bad scooping him up and putting him in a little pocketpet container. Morgan was using them to test, and then of course giving them to the Jackalope in order to be sold, they guessed. Morgan wasn't too worried about it at least. Then they took the grapes, and looked around for anything else. Not too close, the crystals were thrumming. Yes, crystals, two of them. Morgan had been hoping to find two of them, but they had no idea how they could actually tell that there WERE two? Ah well, Morgan liked to find them anyway. It didn't hurt anything none. "They're nearby, you two." Morgan said quietly, finally letting the travel tank come to a rest so that they could grab a couple of things... The crystals were just underneath the berry bushes nearby. Score! Morgan was able to get both of them and come back to the travel tank with the two tats without issues.

Well, now that it was indeed time to get these two tats home so that they could go rest. Morgan was ready to get home too, anyway. They may not be able to find those things that they were wanting to find, but they might be able to get someone to sell them, anyway. "Lets go, Ondori, and Pao." Morgan said, voice clear and happy, and of course this was stated in triplicate as well. Hopefully by the time the month ended and they managed to do the first few lessons, the two would be able to communicate in tat-lung at least. Shigeru hadn't learned that for so long... No, scratch that. There was no way that Shigeru hadn't learned it early. He was just quiet for so long. That had to be it, he was VERY clever! Morgan grabbed the handle of the travel tank, and began to take them out back the way that they came. It was going to take them a long while in order to get back to the gate to get home at least. They waited for a long while, and finally broke out between the two apple trees they were under just a few moments ago.

Well, it was basically a straight shot from here. Morgan hadn't walked in very far whenever they first got here, since the two were so young. But the haul today was pretty okay, all things considered! "I'm glad we got to go out to the mansion today, Pao and Ondori." Morgan said, in triplicate. Signing with one hand was quite easy, and Morgan was glad about it. "We'll go out a few more times as y'all get older, heck, probably more than that, so that you can learn as much about the world as possible. It is very important that you get to learn enough to do what you feel like doing!" Morgan was yapping now, but at least them getting used to their voice would be the best thing possible. After a long while, they finally made their way to the front of the gate. Along this way, Morgan picked up anything that seemed interesting, and managed to find a couple of the things they had been looking for, but not all of the things it would seem. Soon, the trio were outside of the gates, standing there for a moment more to look for anything else before going home.

Morgan had woken up that morning to a horrific surprise; cold sweats and a pounding heart accompanied a new, strange feeling in Morgan's hands. Another tat-lung egg. It was warm, like the one that held Pao. Morgan hadn't even known that Pao's egg was in fact an egg, but now they knew that it had been, and that was what this one was. Pao's egg was warm and sparked, chirping every now and again, almost like a small firework. Morgan hadn't been sure at the time what was going on, but now Morgan should be more ready to deal with the situation. Sadly, they didn't feel any more experienced as they held the vaguely smooth, sorta gummy egg in their hands. Morgan remembered having a nightmare, but couldn't remember any specifics about it whatsoever. Immediately they went out to the Inn on the estate, and got Pao and Ondori together and put in the travel tank. They carefully held the egg in an arm as they made their way out to the Mansion. Normally, Morgan would have put it in their backpack, which was slung over their back, but Morgan felt like the gummy egg might get squished in there? Still, it was very important that this egg be cared. Morgan felt that.

The Mansion seemed a little sunnier today, perhaps? Morgan wasn't sure what to think of it. The last few trips had really been everywhere this month. Morgan was still looking for certain items this month to do some studies on, so they decided to come back today. The first day of school would be tomorrow, Morgan decided, for Pao and Ondori. They needed to be taught as soon as possible, after all! Still, it was very important to learn some things out here that they wouldn't see if they didn't travel. Pao was already starting to grow, and Morgan was simply baffled. It felt a little like Morgan had known her even before she was hatched, if that even made any sense. Really, it didn't. But Pao's mannerisms were proving much more easy to translate than Ondori's, sadly enough. Morgan would have to work twice as hard to understand her, because it was important that they stayed close to one another in 'school' at the very least. Pulling the travel tank along as they typically did by the handle, Morgan held the egg in the other arm, and pulled them through the wrought iron gate; which was open for once. Morgan wasn't used to that!

They didn't have a lot of time to be here today, much to Morgan's slight dismay. They only had about an hour; the human would need to be at home to work further on their clockworks study. They had a big test today, and it was more like a demonstration of their latest project really. However, Morgan had wanted to go on a walk today to clear their head, especially since they had woken up with yet another tat-lung egg this morning. Morgan wanted to get a good look at it, really, and clear their head. It didn't take very long for Morgan to realized that there was hardly anywhere for them to go; they couldn't really take the travel tank through the corn field, and well, the cornfield was back it would seem. What a shame! The bespectacled human circumnavigated it, having a little trouble until they found a little dirt path. Morgan shrugged at this, and continued pulling on, with Pao and Ondori looking around behind them at all the things that could be observed! They really were already incredibly curious, soaking up information like little sponges. It was absolutely baffling how intelligent Tats were and how quickly that was made obvious in their life cycles.

The most strange part about this entire thing was how odd Morgan felt in their chest now. They hadn't noticed it quite well enough with Pao when she was an egg, or even when she hatched. She was so... Her. Morgan didn't really know what to think about her, already. However, she felt familiar, like Morgan had met her before. Her eyes were so deep, it was easy to notice that instead of the other thing. However, with this new egg, Morgan suddenly felt a huge lurch. In the direction of this gummy egg of course, and also towards Pao. Morgan wasn't sure how they didn't notice it before; but it was easy to realize that these eggs had something to do with... Something. Ryuusei and Seimei hadn't done this to Morgan, even though Morgan loved them like they were Morgan's own kids, and even the silver and crystal eggs hadn't done this. Heck, Shigeru hadn't done this either... But Pao and the Gummy egg made Morgan feel like little pieces of their soul had been stuck to each one. What did it mean?
Morgan needed to find somewhere to sit and think. Already, they could feel Ondori and Pao trying to communicate in their tat-way. They'd have lots of questions.

It took a while down the little path, twisting around hillocks, until finally the path, which the mansion seemed to have deigned for this purpose, if one wasn't too ridiculous in the assumption that it was anthropomorphic to a degree, had twisted around a tall hillock. At the top, Morgan could hardly believe what they saw; what had to be a house made up of gingerbread. What was this? What did this have to do with harvest? Morgan was immediately emotionally dragged into all sorts of directions. Morgan was super curious, but also really tired of surprises. They didn't have long to be here today, after all! However, they also had to worry about the tats, and they couldn't protect their-selves right now, at the very least. They were water-bound, in the travel tank, and heck, they were too young to have to worry about protecting their-selves. Morgan was immediately wary of gingerbread houses due to the childhood stories that they were told. At that, they also thought 'wow, I should really be worried about myself since I'm not even questioning why there is a whole house made of gingerbread here...' At that, the egg in their hands, much to even the two tat-children's surprise, gave a lurch.
