The girl was obviously un-interested in coming over, but also didn't seem terribly skittish. Yang got up again and walked over to her; the red girl shifted her weight from where she sat, switching mushrooms between hands aswell while her unblinking eyes watched Yang's approach. Her head tilted as Yang stood above her, reaching down with her dominant hand...and was gently stroked on the space between her eyes. Though soft, Yang was never 100% sure with what it was the Kinoko were covered with. Was it very fine fur, or a kind of moss? The amanita gave a churr of delight, eyes lulling half-way as Yang gently pet her forehead. She allowed the petting for a minute, before dipping her head away to nibble at a third mushroom. Yangs hands went back to their pockets, checking the immediate space they stood in. She couldn't see Kinoko being overtly secluded; the others had to be close by. At the very least, they would be close if just for the chance to eat; mushrooms had to be a-plenty here, in the pocket of humidity and heat within the trees. 13 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [13/20] Amanita: Lvl. 0 [2/5]

For the most part, Yang couldn't see anything that stuck out from the dense brush between the trees, and no immediate movement caught her eye. If the other kinoko were around, they were very well hidden, and she doubted any of them would come when called. Yang pondered a moment; there was Kokoro. She'd spent a fairly large amount of time with her before work consumed her time in the summer months. Maybe that colorful bab would be within hearing range? The Amanita had taken to Yangs pants and shoes, tugging and picking at the fabric half-mindedly. At the gesture, Yang reached to pet her head again, though there was less of a reaction from the girl. She churred and chirped to herself, her big gold eyes looking on in the trees and nature in lull. Yang had to turn in slight to look where Amanita was gazing; was there a blip of color gleaming just beyond some bushes? 14 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [14/20] Amanita: Lvl. 0 [3/5]

A tiny, vibrantly happy chirp sounded, and out from the bushes came a bouncing baby; Kokoro! Yang nearly squealed in delight at see the small one, barely containing her excitement as she knelt down, arms wide. The baby kinoko bounded for her open arms, a bundle of happy chirps and warm purrs as Yang pet her. "Kokoro, my funky lil' baby boo!" Yang smooched the girls head with glee, hugging her to her chest while standing upright. "Are you a mighty hunter?" She cooed, almost positive the kinoko had been tracking down some bugs, or something else small and made-for-pouncing. Kokoro couldn't know what Yang was saying, but she chirrped happily anyway! A ball of affection and loving cuddles in Yangs arms, she was a melted pile of happy 'purring'. Amanita had gained some interest in Yang since Kokoro came running through the underbrush; She stood, nosing Yangs elbow in question as she held the small Kinoko. Yang turned in slight, showing off Kokoro who had taken a 'newborn baby' position, craddled in Yangs arms. "See what you're missing out on," Yang cooed at Amanita "This could've been you earlier." 15 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [15/20] Amanita: Lvl. 0 [4/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 6 [1/5]

At the coo, Amanita huffed, sitting back on her haunches. Yang didn't have any doubt, that given as much time, that Amanita could be just-as cuddly as Kokoro. The wee bab was a bundle of chirrups and purrs, wiggling in Yangs' firm, happy grip. The proclaimed baby flailed about as though in a deep, internal-battle on whether to run about with a zeal of energy, or snuggle deeper into Yangs' arms. Yang opted to choose for her, putting her down on the ground with well-awareness that a wiggling little-one was best left to run their energy off; lest they catch your eye with a paw, or a tail. Kokoro took off in a spurt of energy, chirruping with excitement, bouncing around like a ball of zealous energy. Amanita sat, politely, all four legs on the ground. She watched Kokoro zip around with active interest; what a burst of energy from such a small one! Batting at loose leaves here & there, only to bounce away in fits and spurts, tripping and bumbling around Yangs' feet with fervor; Kokoro was but a streak of rainbows & black. 16 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [16/20] Amanita: Lvl. 0 [5/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 6 [2/5]

Yang doubted at this point in time, that any pet kept within her gardens' enclosure, would be any kind of unfit or in distress. Not that the priority of her pets and their health had changed in that moment, but with the zeal of this baby kinoko running rampantly back and fourth, and the otherwise lackadaisical attitudes of two other pets she accounted for today, she was sure everything else in the garden was doing just fine. Yang watched Kokoro with Amanita for a hot minute, glee apparent on her face as she watched the little one bound around. There was another solid minute of running in a zeal of back-and-forth momentum, before Kokoro began to finally slow to a stop. She finally settled down, her butt landing snuggly atop Yangs shoe; no doubt, obviously, it was the perfect place to sit. Yang smiled warmly, reaching down to pet the bab behind her ear-shrooms, relishing in the soft, fuzzy touch and the girls tiny purring. Amanita decided not to lose out on these cuddles, butting her head into Yangs calf. "Alright alright," Yang muttered, stroking Amanitas head aswell as Kokoros'. 17 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [17/20] Amanita: Lvl. 1 [1/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 6 [3/5]

With things at ease, including her shoulders which had been absently tensed the last several hours of the day, Yang spent a quiet moment pondering on what to do next. If she didn't really need to check in on everyone who lived in this enclose, it meant she had a whole day for other interests. She could head on back through the gate, make her way to the shops; that grey streaking cloud from earlier had to have poured its bit of rain by now. She could always try to remember those treats she'd made a mental note-of earlier, and come back to the gardens to check on the rest of her pets. Then again, she was here, in the midst of her bordered plot of nature, and surely Palindrome wasn't too far off. "Alright babies," Yang ceased the pets, straightening her back and looking to where the trail went on. "Lets see if we can't track everyone else down." She started down the dirt pathway. Kokoro gave a chirrup, running ahead of Yang with bouncing steps, while Anamita looked on. After a minute of Yang walking, the red girl began to follow, walking at her own leisurely pace. 18 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [18/20] Amanita: Lvl. 1 [2/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 6 [4/5]

Yang paused at the top of a slight hill, looking back at the enclosed space of trees. It was surprisingly dark back there, now that she was in a patch of light. Amanita was slowly walking, stalker-in movement and otherwise silent. Kokoro bounced on her feet like a kitten, still ahead of Yang by at least 5 paces. Gazing up to the look at the sky, Yang waited on Amanitas slow journey. She was right earlier; it looked as though the sky above was clear, and what little rain there was, had long since fallen in a sprinkling that looked, in the after-math, a lot like dew. Carrying on her walk, Yang noted the gathering of trees was a little less dense; there were newer saplings in this area, and the canopy still revealed the sky in a dappled way. The breeze carried easily through here, and though it made for a beautiful walk, a little voice in the back of Yangs mind couldn't help but note the lack of protection this chunk of land would serve in a blizzard, or a rainstorm. 19 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [19/20] Amanita: Lvl. 1 [3/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 6 [5/5]

"C'mon baby, lets go," Yang muttered quietly, waiting. Amanita had decided to trail to a stop just short of where Yang stood, nosing at some plants that grew along the paths edge. "I doubt any of this is new to you, girl." Kokoro, waiting on Yang, whom was waiting on Amanita, came walking back. In a sassy huff, she waddled back over to Yangs feet, sitting her bum down once again on Yangs shoe. Yang wiggled her foot in jest, otherwise unbothered by the babes choice of sitting. She was busy watching Amanita, who had finished nosing the flowers on some tall plants, but now nosed along the ground. "C'mon girl, I got things I wanna do today." Yang muttered again, sinking absent mindedly into her coat. The chill in these passing breezes were getting to be particularly noticeable; maybe it was because she'd stopped moving for a minute, or maybe it was an omen. A wintery, omen. A Cold, wintery, omen. Yang frowned, her thoughts passing quietly through her future work schedule, which promised a dozen, terrible, wintery, chimera-like beings coming to fruition. 20 __________ Yang: Lvl. 14 [20/20] Amanita: Lvl. 1 [4/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 7 [1/5]

Work, work, work! Her thoughts always lead back to work, and the imminently grueling tasks that awaited. "C'mon Amanita!" Yang was starting to feel a little impatient. If she were truthful to herself, she would admit the impatience had little to do with the Kinoko than with work. A thread of stress strained taught in Yangs stomach, growing dense as she stood there, unfocusedly watching Amanita 'sniff' around a few paces away. Kokoro was un-moving from her seat, looking on to the nearby plants and tree's with mild interest. "Amanita!" Yang called in a warbled pitch. The kinoko raised her head to look at her, but looked away again, more interested in the shrubbery than Yangs voice. Yang felt oddly, terribly upset that the kinoko hadn't chosen to come when she called; despite not having taught her her name, or even really Knowing Yang as a master, Yang had a devout belief in her mind that Amanita would've come when called. She sniffed. Kokoro chirped, and Yang blinked, looking down. The small purring bab eased the dense bubble of anxiety in Yangs gut, and Yang bent down to pet Kokoro affectionately, sniffling as she did. 21 __________ Yang: Lvl. 15 [1/20] Amanita: Lvl. 1 [5/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 7 [2/5]

Taking a slow, shaky breath and wiping her face from its wetness, Yang made sure to carefuly wiggle her foot free from under Kokoro, before walking back down the small hill towards Amanita. The girls head lifted as Yang approached, her eyes soft without concern, and a warm, a soft churr coming from her throat affectionately. As Yang came up beside her, Amanita rubbed her head on Yangs' leg, still gently murring as Yang gave her solemn strokes along her neck. Yang couldn't see what it was Amanita was sniffing at, but it didn't really matter. Surely whatever it was, was something that kept her entertained here in the enclosure. After a minute of easy breathing, and bending low to meet Kokoros eager need for petting, she began her walk again. Back up to the top of the small hill, Yang looked back; both kinoko lingered back this time, both Amanita and Kokoro. They sat at the distinct edge of land that separated the moss-laden tree's, and the overgrowth of fresh and new saplings, with Amanita watching with gold eyes and Kokoro pouncing at her feet. 22 __________ Yang: Lvl. 15 [2/20] Amanita: Lvl. 2 [1/5] Kokoro: Lvl. 7 [3/5]

The light only got brighter as Yang trudged along the dirt trail. The younger trees' in the surrounding meant less growth, and far less dense vegetation than the other section of woods, with gnarled roots and wide-spread fungi. There were far more weeds over here too, springing up where bushes would grow, if given the chance. Yang thought about weeding; more work to be done. She could always one-up the place by replacing the weeds with flowers, or something equally bright and efficient to the area. Yang stumbled on a root but caught herself, still pondering and wondering while in a daze. Would it be paramount to fix up the original above-ground garden first? Or, with winter coming, would she forgo planting, and focus on the weeding? Would it be better just to hire a cheap labor-hand to do it for her? Was this something she wanted to do herself? Yang came-to at the trailing edge of the 'woods', where the last sappling sprouted and the plot gave way to a clearing. From where she stood, Yang could see the pond to her right, and ahead was the above-ground garden, the weeding virtually un-touched since spring.

Yang started, catching a glimpse of something growing nearby. Reaching into a particular outcropping of plants, she plucked it. Yang looked it over with interest; she wasn't sure what it was, or if it was even edible. She pocketed it anyways; it would come with her for the day, which looked like might turn into one made for shopping. Her breathing was becoming easier than it had been earlier, though she still quietly sniffed. Shuffling her hands into her coat pockets, she tried a little harder to ignore the cold breeze that seemed to be the source for rattling her thoughts around. She stepped off the path, cutting across lush grass to head back towards the pond. From there she'd go through the same gate she entered from, and probably make her way to the shops downtown. Probably.

Trudging forward, Yang spied Reinic laying atop the grassy ledge that hung over the pond. Her eyes were closed, serenely basking in the light that had become brilliant now that the gloomy cloud had dissipated. Enjoying the open air, the beautiful day; Yang was a little jealous of the serenity that Reinic could encapsulate in this moment. She huffed a breath, the irritation a small wasp rattling in her head. The anxiety only ever lightened or worsened, it never left completely. The fact that her lotine could just Be... Yang wished for that sorely. With a sigh, she let it go. She could enjoy this brilliant day too, she just.... had to remember to breathe. The crunch of work wasn't not ever a foreshadowing boulder just in the peripheral of her vision. To let it go was harder than she thought it would be; even out here, were she was swathed in the sounds and works of nature. 25 __________ Yang: Lvl. 15 [5/20] Reinic: Lvl. 4 [1/5]

Reinic's eyes peeped open as Yang approached; she made a soft noise, and serenely closed her eyes again. Yang looked beyond her, and gazed again into the pond. She still hadn't seen her Seryn; they were probably tucked away from when it was dark earlier. Without the other beings she still found the pond to be a joy to have; how things were in the pool of water. How the lily-pads bobbed around, how the ripples cascaded further and further away from the water-fall, and into the water. Yang shuffled her hands in her pocket, enjoying the scene while still partially focused on her breathing. The bubbles of emotions from earlier still had her feeling terribly blue, but the breathing was getting easier. She could still hardly believe how fresh the air was, and how deeply each breath of hers was pulled in. 26 __________ Yang: Lvl. 15 [6/20] Reinic: Lvl. 4 [2/5]
