They were back with every bit of their money, and they knew what they intended to do. Buying Turner out was something they loved the idea of, but more specifically, taking those little pachee home and doing something with them. They liked dark colors, usually, but they kept thinking about the white and tan pachee from last time...and the black twin girls they'd managed to get. It had given them an idea, a way to acquire certain colors they might could achieve. So they were back, a wide grin on their face; they had news, as well. News of their first clutches, of how they'd used the first of the collection of berries they intended to buy.
"Hello?" They greeted the moment they stepped through the shop doors. Last time, Aura had caught him with his hands buried in potting soil; was that going to be the case again?
[Buying: Tan Pachee- 250 White Pachee- 500 Masculinity Berry x10- 250 Femininity Berry x10- 250 Abundance Berry x10- 250
Turner smiled softly as he took in the scent of one of the flowers on the berry bushes he was keeping. They'd finally began to bloom and he hadn't taken the time to really enjoy it. He heard the door open, and turned around quickly, not quite wanting to be caught sniffing the flowers. "Good day!" He said. Oh, he recognized this individual; they were here not too long ago. "How are your pachee?" He asks, grinning. Of course he knew that they waere probably here for stuff, but he'd let them bring that up.
"They're very well! I had my first two clutch...litters. A set of black twin girls, and some galaxy inspired babies. One of them, the boy, has butterfly wings." Ve responded cheerfully. Ve hadn't brought them with vir; Aura hadn't been sure they'd be welcome. Plus, ve had too many plans on how to handle their breeding lines, and risking them accidentally pollinating when ve wasn't ready for it was not something ve could afford. "I'm almost out of that first set of berries I bought, so I wanted to get quite a lot more, and...I know I immediately went for the black male I saw last time, but I'd like to look at your other males. I have some ideas on some pretty combinations they could make with my twins." Ve hadn't needed a list; it was short, though expensive. Mainly, the quantity of the berries was why it was so expensive on vir. It was, quite literally, half the price.
Turner grinned at the ssashirk, absolutely beaming. "You managed to get two black female pachee?" He said, excitedly. "And butterfly wings on a male..." He'd heard of stuff like that happening before; with odd, new genes that came from customs. Turner, on the other hand, tended to stick with and get excited about the more natural (if one could call them that) colors. Like his black, tan, and white ones, and the rare colors that come from those. "Luck has been with you!" He said, congratulating in tone.
Turner moved on over to the males this time, smiling. "Sure sure, I have a couple of other colors." He said. He did indeed; they were just as before. "As for berries, how many would you like this time?"
"I did, thank you! I doubt I'll ever use both in a season, so if you would ever like to borrow one of the twins, please let me know. I'd be happy to share." They meant it, too; it wasn't even to try to secure free things or a discount or whatever. They just liked the idea of making friends with someone who had a similar interest, who was probably the reason they were able to have this kind of hobby in the first place.
Aura wandered over to the males, poking their head down to locate the two they wanted. Immediately, their eyes rested on the tan and the white pachee, both ignoring them as they were used to being ignored by customers not looking to purchase more of the little pollen cats. "I want to purchase these two. And ten of each of the pachee berries, if it is not too much trouble. I don't know what your supply is like, but I don't wish to put your projects in any kind of jeopardy."
"I'll definitely keep that in mind," Turner said happily, watching them as they browsed for a little bit. Ah, more Pachee? "Absolutely! The tan is 250 and the white is 500, just so you're aware. Then ten of each of the berries..." he added it up in his head with a smile, "1500 credits today." He took three bags and slowly filled them each with different kinds of berries, then placed them on the counter, then he took two leashes and hooked them around their preferred Pachee, leading those over to the counter as well.
They pulled out the largest denominations of their money that added up to the correct total, passing it across the counter to him. Bartering never occurred to them; it was rude in their old home. A waste of time and energy for merchants who were kind enough to allow you to purchase their goods. "Thank you very much," they said, taking the bags of berries and the leashes of the new pachee. They weren't quite sure what to name the boys yet, but it would occur to them eventually, they were sure. Mostly, they wanted to see what would happen if they crossed the white male with the other black twin. Monochrome? Grayscale? Perhaps they'd get lucky enough to get a solid white girl, though that would take far too much luck, they supposed. "I have all my pachee at my house over on Avant Vall. If you ever want to borrow one of the twins, just drop by; they stay in the backyard there. Have a good day." They gave a nod of their head out of respect and departed with their purchases, a smile on their face.
Morgan: No one knows yet. But I did want to make it clear that the jar itself isn't used for lotine husbandry in any way. c:

Twilight-Claw: I'm only assuming that it does something similar like a Fungal Beast that infects a Leaf-scatter. (the one with moss and I think it was a pink flower growing on the head.)

Silver: I'll try it soon and we'll find out!
Jun 5, 2020 4:16:11 GMT -6
Silver: I don't think anyone knows yet!
Jun 5, 2020 4:16:05 GMT -6
Darky: What did the 'infection' do again?
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:43 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for this information, its really useful to know! <3
Jun 5, 2020 4:14:30 GMT -6
Morgan: The lolatic doesn't disappear after one use, and can be reused on the same lotine when it is allowed to 'infect' a lotine- to my knowledge.
Jun 5, 2020 1:41:37 GMT -6
Morgan: The only effect/thing that the jar can be used for is to open up into a lolatic. The jar itself has no use in lotine breedings.
Jun 5, 2020 1:39:52 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: and the jar is then gone, if with the creature I am more guessing with this the creature doesn't disappear and it has unlimited use.
Jun 5, 2020 0:17:55 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Something else I am wondering about with the Lotine breeding is whether one would use the jar the Lolatic comes from in the breeding, or actually the creature itself. I'm assuming with it if its the jar, then it gives people only one shot in a breeding,
Jun 5, 2020 0:16:08 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Then using it in my rps is definitely just for the sake of rp's and not for anything additional.
Jun 5, 2020 0:12:17 GMT -6
Renathan: Fish are unlimited use once bought though. c:
Jun 4, 2020 22:31:17 GMT -6
Renathan: There's no additional effect for adding a fish to a magical berry in a lotine breeding. Magical Berry is kinda it's own thing. Adding a fish for roleplay value shouldn't hurt, but it has no effect when used on a magical berry lotine breeding.
Jun 4, 2020 22:27:14 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: be just for the sake of rp, and perhaps seeing if it might lent a bigger chance to multiple offspring with unique pattern. X3
Jun 4, 2020 15:31:01 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: I think your right on it being unlimited use yeah, although.. *cough* I only found out a couple hours after I started writing that I had yet to buy the fish in question so used the one you could get for free as a replacement, it still was meant to mostly
Jun 4, 2020 15:30:59 GMT -6
Riku: From what I loosely understand about the fish is that it isn't one-use, whereas the berry is. I feel like there wouldn't be any consequence of 'using' the fish...which I'd think just ooc wouldn't be counted for whatever rolls or whatever it is that it uses
Jun 3, 2020 14:14:30 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Thanks for that piece of info Ren! <3 | But would it be allowed for the flavor of the rp if the berry wasn't filling enough for the Lotine?
Jun 1, 2020 6:09:21 GMT -6
Renathan: There is no need to double up on a fish and a magical berry (doesn't change the effect of the berry at all) in a lotine breeding.
Jun 1, 2020 6:02:21 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: Does anyone know if it is possible to combine both a magical berry and a fish in a Lotine breeding? Or is you can only choose one of them? (right now writing a Lotine breeding)
Jun 1, 2020 5:36:49 GMT -6
Twilight-Claw: I am still interested in trading it for a green drake.
