Seraphim tilts his head a little to the side as he seems to listen to Poppy, looking sadder the more Poppy continues barking. ‘Hopefully he isn’t going to catch the same thing that has Poppy all twisted up mentally.’ He thinks while looking at the two, at least Poppy seems to be a little more livelier when he does this. But the ‘why’ is still up in the air on what it could be that is making him act like this. “Poppy?” The kid says in confusion, but she doesn’t say anything else as she looks on at the two pup’s. He wasn’t sure either if he should stop it, Poppy is certainly more livelier than before in his behavior, though it could hardly be called that he is ‘cured’ since it looks more like he is cursing out at Seraphim. And to his surprise, Seraphim doesn’t even seem to mind as he keeps staring with intent at the other pup, making a small whine when the other pup stops after a minute longer of barking.

Huffing, Poppy looks away from Seraphim as he stares out of the main window of the living room, looking out at the streets and seemingly losing the energy to continue with his tirade as he stares at what is happening at the street, which seems to be just people passing through, very few having pets at their side, slowly Poppy starts laying down once more and looking away from them all. Curling up in disinterest. “I think..” He says slowly while looking at Seraphim, who seems saddened for some reason. It can’t be just about being barked at this whole time can it? “With what you said ma’am, that it happened in the park that Poppy became like this is likely our first clue.” Patting his knee to make some noise, Seraphim looks in his direction with curiosity, tilting his head a little to the side. Making the same motion again, Seraphim gets up to come closer to him.

He strokes Seraphim’s back when the pup has come close enough to do so, and stares at Poppy who didn’t even look up at what he did. “I hope you both wouldn’t mind it so terrible, but perhaps..” He pauses for a second to look at Jessica and Jenny. “Would it be possible if we all went to the park? Especially with Poppy? Something about his behavior is odd if it all happened so suddenly, something must have happened there.” He says with a certain conviction shining through his voice. There just got to be more to this. No one can act like that all without a reason. And judging by Seraphim’s reaction when Poppy barked at him, something Poppy must have told the other pup saddened Seraphim enough to show it in his body language. “I guess we could try? Its been a little while since we last went there since it is long way to it compared to the five or ten minutes I normally do with Poppy.”

The mother says in a thoughtful tone while looking at Poppy who grumbled unhappily as Seraphim comes close once more, and nudges at the other pup for attention. “Seraphim, don’t, come here.” He says in a firm tone as he smacks with the palm of his hand against his knee, making a sound that is loud enough to catch both pup’s attention on him. Luckily Seraphim became curious enough about his action to come closer to him, and he easily shortened the leash so that Seraphim isn’t going back to Poppy’s side. “Good boy Seraphim!” He has heard praising your pets would help in making them want to comply with anything you try to train them, though he doubts it would be as easy against someone with more intelligence. The image of Envix with her leopard themed ribbon scarf comes to mind, but the thought is gone in a flash as he sees Seraphim narrow his eyes at him, ears flattened to the back of his neck.

Clearly displeased about something. Perhaps he made the leash a little too short? He unwraps a little bit of the leash from his hand. There that should do it. Meanwhile as he was busy with Seraphim, Jenny had put on a red jacket and had grabbed the collar and leash of Poppy, clicking everything in place with an air of both seriousness and a smile as Poppy seems to continue grumbling and slowly getting up. Likely already knowing they were going to go out for a walk. “Which park did you say you were in last time when Poppy started to behave so strangely?” He questions with interest as the mother started to open a different door then the one he was led into, he can only assume that is the kitchen as he hears the sound of tap water being used for a bit till its shut off. Some drawers getting opened and closed as she seems to gather something.

It’s only a few minutes later the mother came out of the kitchen with a bag she has prepared for the outing apparently, the strap leaning on the other side of her shoulder. She grinned slightly as she leads them all out of the house after having put on a black jacket for herself with white fur lining at the hood while saying. “Considering its going to be a while till we arrive. I thought it best to take some snacks and water bottles with me. I don’t know about you, but I tend to get rather thirsty after a while.” He nods at that in understanding, he got his own bottles of water for on the road, so it is understandable she wants to have some as well if it is going to take long. Closing the door, and locking it, she then led them away from the house. Jenny started humming happily while Poppy still looked rather sad, but started to gain more interest in where they are going the longer they walked.

“Well, while the city has one large park people usually go to for training their pets from what I heard,” “Which is dangerous for me and Poppy to go too!” The child injected with an annoyed tone. Had the mother said that often to her perhaps? “Yes Jenny, and it still is dangerous to go there unsupervised. What if a Wiurn decides not to listen to their owner and breaks loose? You know I don’t want you to get you hurt.” The mother spoke quickly at her child’s words, confirming his thoughts. “Yes mom.” “In any case, there are some that have just one kilometer in each direction of ground that only allows certain types of pets in the park for the safety of the people. It is rather small compared to the Public one, but they are still the best out there. We all tend to love going there, and Poppy enjoys playing with the Vulticus, Houluh, and Rakai that can be found there with their owners.”

She laughs about something suddenly, catching Poppy’s attention as he seems to watch her with a small frown, ears flattened back. “Even the occasionally Enileaf which he seems to be terrified of, can be found in the park.” His lip pulls up on one side as he hears that, now starting to get why she laughs about it. The Rakai-Sarane might not be true dogs, and neither are the Enileaf for that matter true cats, but they still where created with that basis. And a dog fearing a cat? Especially ones who don’t seem to grow any bigger than a juvenile Estharne might be? Hilarious. Seraphim just looks curiously at them while they are talking, wagging his tail slightly as he seems to catch some interesting scents he wants to investigate, but gets pulled away too soon from it when he is lagging behind, Claw didn’t feel too much for wanting to make them wait for Seraphim to be done with his inspections of some rocks, bushes or litter that can be found when they go into alleyways that are just on the side of unsavory when it comes to how clean they are.

The mother and daughter didn’t seem to mind it much. And Poppy seems to be trained enough to not try and investigate every pile of litter they come across, ignoring it as if it isn’t even there while his ears are starting to perk up, unlike Seraphim that seems to want see what everything actually is. He scowls slightly at that, not liking the fact that his own isn’t as well behaved as he thought Seraphim was at first. “We are almost there, just another five minutes I think.” The mother says after they leave the alleyways and come on one of the main roads of the city where it is bustling with people and their pets. “That’s good, and it seems like Poppy is looking just a little bit better.” He couldn’t help but comment as the closer they come to the mentioned park, the more that the Rakai seems to get livelier. But it can’t just be from the long walk, that just feels to simple of a solution, not when he became so sad in the first place.

He thinks with a frown. At least Seraphim seems to enjoy the long walk as well as he keeps wagging his tail, and has his sight fixed on what is happening in front of him. “Yes… That seems so?” The mother looks at Poppy with confusion, uncertain perhaps on what to make of that development, while Jenny seems to be cheered up at that news. “Yay~” The kid yells out, punching one arm in the air that isn’t holding the leash at she smiled. “See mom? It was a good idea to send word to Light!” She says, turning her back in the direction they are walking in as she grins at them, and looks down with a soft smile at Poppy as she sees what they mean. ‘That just.. Is this what is considered children’s logic?’ He thinks in confusion, shaking his head at that while Jenny turns around once more in order to see where she is walking.

“Yes Jen.” Her mother says with a smile, as they turn away from the main road and take a side road that leads towards a few houses and cafe’s where some have a terrace that people sit in the chairs and have either a beverage on the small round tables, or some type of food such as sandwiches or soup, or another small but hot meal one usually takes as dinner. “Just a few more houses.” The mother calls out suddenly, and Seraphim yips a couple of times towards a juvenile Rakai in rather brown hue’s that is on the leash as well and ignoring their group. Patiently waiting for its master to be done with their food so that they can leave. “Calm yourself Seraphim!” He says while tugging on the leash so that Seraphim knows he should rather focus on their own group. Grumbling slightly, Seraphim comes closer to Poppy, wagging his tail and nudging at the other Rakai’s side playfully.

Only to get snapped at once he insisted it a bit more forcefully, making Seraphim back off with a whine while Poppy just huffs and looks away from Seraphim, clearly not interested in any apology that Seraphim is making. At least the reaction is not to bad, and Poppy still seems to want to get to the park. And from the short distance he can already see the park they mentioned as they are coming closer to it. Now and then people of all ages and races are going in and out of the park with their own pets, or children that seem to have had a lot of fun playing there, or seem to be anticipating that it will be a lot of fun to go there. “Here it is! The Pawpad Trinks Park. I still have no idea why the founder of the park gave it that name, but at least it is somewhat catchy.” The mother muttered at the end as Jenny tried and succeeds in enticing Poppy to race with her to the entrance, wagging his tail only a few times, but mostly starting to bark.

It didn’t sound cheerful though, more like.. Calling for someone, or something? As, while Poppy does race along side Jenny, he didn’t exactly focus all that much on his owner at all. His attention more at something in the distance. “Was Poppy two days ago on the leash when you were walking with him?” He says while staring with a small frown at Poppy, smoothing out his expression a moment later when Jessica looks at him. “Now that you say it, no, I don’t think I did.” She says back, and looks at the pair with a small smile, though it turns into a frown as well the more she seems to focus on Poppy. Is she seeing the same things he does as well? “You see it too right? Poppy is looking for something or someone.” He asks, and the mother looks thoughtful at the question while they start walking in the park, following one of the paved paths that has the least people walking on it.

“I wonder if it is Ferry, he is looking for. I don’t think I had seen him while I was walking with Poppy that day, and neither did Jenny afterwards from what she had said.” The mother murmurs softly to him, or perhaps too herself? She did sound more in thought while speaking out loud, and hadn’t looked in his direction. “Who is the owner exactly of Ferry? If Poppy became this way because he misses the other, then maybe arranging more playdates with the pair could help out?” It felt rather strange for him that while they kept saying Ferry’s name, he has yet to hear the owner’s name for some reason. “Well, that is the thing. We don’t exactly know.” The mother says as they stop for a moment, in the distance he can see Jenny panting after running for a little while, and Poppy continues to bark.

Kneeling down, he pats Seraphim’s head as the pup had been keeping up quite well with them. Unclipping the leash from Seraphim’s neck, he holds him by the collar before he could get away, and grabs from his pocket a meat treat, giving one to Seraphim both as a reward, and making it known that if he comes back, he can expect more of them. Wagging his tail, Seraphim carefully picks up the treat from his hand and chews on it quickly before swallowing, licking his chops. Letting go of the collar, he watches him run away to join Jenny and Poppy’s side as they start another race in the park. Although, Poppy seems to be more focused on the aspect of calling out to something as much as possible, and sniffing at anything of interest the most. Having watched Claw for a minute while he was busy with Seraphim and sees him pocketing his own leash in his trench-coat, she continues.
