Renathan worked with her a bit in the air, calling out other commands and watching her execute them incredibly well. He'd been training her for so long that they really melded together well. Soon enough, Renathan snuck in the command for the barrel roll, and he was surprised when it only took her a moment to follow into the barrel roll. Renathan was very proud of her, super proud. He gave her a seed for it, and then called her up into the air yet again after she was finished eating it. Renathan did the same thing, running her through a couple of commands, and then calling out the "Saeri!" command yet again. She ducked into the barrel roll again, this time faster and much more practiced. Renathan gave her lots of positive reinforcement, and a seed, and then they worked at it again. Renathan continued this until they were both very tired; Renathan's voice was exhausted, and his jibiji was so tired and sleepy. He felt confident that she got the command, and they were ready to go home anyway. He took her back home for some much needed rest for her, and warming up for him.

Renathan had decided earlier on during the day that Lisle could only be trained a couple of things. That left him for a lot more time to devote to training on today, his off day, so he wondered about what would be a good choice for that. He had figured that Auburn would be a great idea; she had a really short list now that they had been working for so long, and he wanted to eventually get to more serious training with her... For now, with her form, Renathan knew that she would be best working on little cute tricks; and he wanted to finish off that training list if at all possible! Renathan brought her to the training grounds carefully, petting her softly on the head. He had already used the sever-bond earlier today to work with Lisle, so he figured that they might even be able to work on her flying training without too much worry too! Today, he wanted to start with something decidedly cuter, though.

Renathan had decided to teach Auburn how to 'dance' eventually, a long, long time ago. He wanted to teach her all the most adorable things that he could; because he wanted her to be his primary contest pet someday! She was just too adorable, and he really did think that others would agree. At this moment, he was sure that she would win contests of all types; though perhaps not the Vai Min Mur contest... Renathan chuckled at that idea. He could definitely see himself putting her in a dress up contest though, maybe in a little witch hat and a cape? That would be just super adorable. Renathan was quiet for a moment, and then remembered the command he was going to use to teach this trick. "Auburn, Duum!" Auburn immediately turned her attention to him as she sat on the top of the walnut wood bench that had been their haunt over the past year. She knew that had to mean something!

Renathan reached out carefully, and poked at her little feet, and then at her forelimbs individually. She hopped on her little 'feets', dancing from one side to the other, and then raised her hands as Renathan poked them. Then, Renathan gave her a small seed for the trouble. She knew him very well, and knew that a new vocalization with a seed generally meant that she had done right whatever it was that the vocalization meant... So now she was going to have to figure out what she needs to do to get it right again. Renathan was quiet, as the thoughtful-looking jibiji nibbled her seed. Renathan really did love these moments with the tiny bird; spring was coming soon, he could smell it in the air; and he just felt quite good. Renathan was proud and happy for her. Soon, she was finished with the seed, and Renathan knew that they should continue working on it.

Renathan called out the command again, happily. "Auburn, Duum!" He knew that this was similar to some of their other commands, but he was very happy that this jibiji was quite good at figuring out different commands from one another; he couldn't remember the last time he'd tripped her up with similar commands! Auburn raised her forelimbs a bit, and then her hind legs too, all at different times. Renathan clapped a bit, in a rhythm, and she began naturally picking it up; her forelimbs moving to the beat and her back legs randomly being moved. Renathan stopped, and gave her lots of praise and a small seed for her effort. He was super proud; she wasn't really dancing in any specified way really, just doing her own thing to his claps. That was good; that meant that it would be really adorable when watched, even if it wasn't really related to each-other at all. Auburn did, however, notice that when he stopped clapping, that she stopped dancing and was given a seed.

Renathan waited until Auburn was finished with her seed to continue working on the dance command. Renathan would call out the command, and then she would begin her teetering little 'dance', happy and cute. Renathan would never call such a thing dancing had it been from a humanoid creature, but it was certainly adorable from such a small hopping bird. Renathan was proud about it; as he kept calling out the command, being answered with the teetering dance by Auburn, and then giving her a little seed for her troubles while giving her lots of praise. This repeated process had been continuously used by Renathan over and over again, with almost all of his creatures. It was almost exhausting some days, but with Auburn, it was a very fun process. After a while of watching her do her little dance over and over again, Renathan felt like they got 'Duum' down just right! It was time to move on to another behavior.

The next behavior Renathan wanted to work on was the 'Hug' command. He'd already taught her the kiss command, which was adorable, and he figured that he'd complete the set sooner rather than later. The idea was to run out of behaviors to teach her, to see how much the creature could learn. He was a bit sad about the idea of running out of things to train her at some point, however, he was also sure that the creature could probably learn anything she was physically capable of too... Well, he had other creatures that needed training as well, and finishing up with Auburn would give him more time to work with other creatures and different behaviors. Renathan was quiet for a moment, as he tried to come up with an idea for a command for the hug behavior... He figured that Keeri would probably work just fine, and sounded different enough to the other commands.

Renathan was super proud about how hard they had been working on commands for so long. Technically, she knew more behaviors than his other creatures despite the fact that Shy Guy had taken longer to learn the ones that he had. He figured that sometimes, the commands that were battle oriented might take longer or more energy? Renathan was not sure. He wondered if there was some kind of science to this, but then again, Pethia seemed a lot less science-oriented than his homeland. So he figured that though this could certainly be applicable, that he may just never figure it out. Renathan happily watched the tiny jibiji for just a moment more before calling out the command. "Auburn, Keeri." Then he reached out with his hand, and gently put his hand between her two forelimbs. She instinctively grabbed on to them, as he knew that she would and had before, and then he rubbed his finger against her cheek pleasantly.

Afterwards, Renathan gave her a seed for her trouble, signalling to her without knowing that she had done the correct thing, even though Renathan had helped her along. Renathan was getting more and more streamlined, understanding more and more how his creatures learned the quickest for each one. He adjusted his training style for each animal worked with. Renathan would not have considered it; but he was becoming quite the trainer! Renathan waited until the tiny bird ate her seed and threw the casing away before he continued the training. "Auburn, Keeri!" He said, and then he held out his hand just as he had before, close to her. This time, she was quick to uptake, or at least quick for the circumstances. She grabs his hand much like she did with the seeds, throwing her front limbs around him, and then she cuddled her head into his finger. Success! Renathan then gave her a seed for doing so well.

Auburn finishes off her seed soon enough, and looks up at the mammalian for more commands so that she could get more seeds. She was very used to the status quo at this point; and just looked at him with the biggest most adorable eyes. Renathan wasted no time calling out the command again for more practice for her. "Auburn, Keeri!" Auburn was getting this, as per the usual, pretty quickly. She grabs Renathan's hand when he brings it near her, clumsily in her front arms, and she cuddles her cheek up to his fingers. It is absolutely adorable! Renathan just knew that this would go over well in at least a few different contests. He had been trying to think about the contest behaviors first, before any more battle behaviors. They just made him super nervous to even think about sometimes, but he knew that they would have to be done. He gets ready to begin the repetition aspect of training this behavior.

Renathan gives the creature a seed for her trouble, and waits for her to finish it; enjoying the sunshine of the park and the soft roll of the breeze in the newly greened-up grass. It had snowed quite a bit previously, and now it was too warm for it to be on the ground anymore. This way, the grass seemed to have gotten use of the water, surprisingly enough. Renathan was always amazed with the weather around here, it was so different than his home land... Renathan called out the command again, and Auburn of course was quite used to this; she repeated the desired behavior and then was rewarded for it. Renathan continued to repeat this process continuously, calling out the command, rewarding her and giving her lots of praise, and then starting it again. Soon, he was running her through several different commands, and then sneaking the Keeri command in there as well. She seemed to pick it up very well; so Renathan decided to move on to something new.

Renathan had been considering working on this training for a long time, but he really wasn't sure what order he wanted to do this in. He was also planning on going and working on a new skill he was wanting to learn; leather working. He'd had a hard time finding things that he really needed for his creatures in this area; and he figured that making it himself couldn't be too difficult. He was, after all, great with art in comparison to most in the City here. Renathan considered all of this as he gently petted Auburn on her cute little ears, and then focused on figuring out what to train her next. It really didn't matter the order, he figured, because he planned to train it all. However, he knew that they didn't have a whole lot more time today for this particular activity. He knows that there are plenty of things to work on though...

Renathan had a difficult time for a while coming to terms with a lot of life in the City. At first it was an overwhelming sense of curiosity; he had to learn common by first learning Ssashirk, so it had been difficult to even understand the people of pethia at first. Soon enough, though, he'd been asking questions in what little broken Common he had indeed known. He finally began understanding things; such as fish being edible here. At his homeland, the water was not safe and had never been safe, as much as he knew. Here, he'd had to learn to swim, even. Renathan had been surprised, to say the least, that it was even possible for him to swim. He'd learned so much, and that was his whole idea with coming here; the first Crimsii to come to Pethia. He really didn't know if the rest of his people could deal with that. Renathan found his mind wandering, but Auburn did not seem to mind at all.

Renathan was always so glad that Auburn was so simple and sweet, demure would probably be the word he'd use, if not for her somewhat competitive nature that he'd observed at times. The tiny bird seemed to enjoy nothing more than his affection, so he spent an inordinate amount of time with her specifically over his other creatures. He was very glad that he'd found out about her becoming his familiar early on, so that he didn't accidentally hurt her... That mile limit was sometimes concerning. He was very lucky when it came to his entire situation here at the City, in fact. The idea of magic frightened him, until it became absolutely required for him to use it to train his creatures correctly. Then, if it had not been for Jack, he would never had made it. He was lucky to have friends like her! He had learned so much, and done so much.

His complicated story had other parts, of course. His bond with Mintaka had been the reason why he had came to pethia at all; he felt that heart-tug, and this is where it went. That had been a definite good influence on his life, despite the fact that his visits to Mintaka's den were mostly just calm times with an un-eventfulness that was comfortable. Renathan did spend a goodly amount of time there too; Mintaka had taken just as well as he had to the tiny jibiji, though he was terrified of touching her for fear of hurting her. Renathan had so much to do all of the time, if he stopped for a moment- a somber strangeness took over him. He wasn't sure exactly what to do about it, other than just continue doing things to keep it at bay. The more tired he was at the end of the day; the quicker he fell asleep, after all. Perhaps his mental weakness was catching up to him, or perhaps it was some kind of force on him exerted by all of the bonds he'd made with his creatures.
