"You had me at demons, but you had to go and include treasure! I have never been to this mansion place. Show me! I would like an adventure there." Santiago's excitement had reached a point where he could no longer pretend indifference for sake of conversation, for the sake of learning more about the humans in the city. He wanted to go, he wanted to see this magic and the spirity stuff - hey, perhaps humans didn't ascend like dragons did, and honestly it made sense that they wouldn't so maybe that was why they came back on this Vai Min mur holiday! - and find treasure! "Hopefully it is better than this place." He had grown bored of digging without any reward, Ashe realized.
After a little more discussion, it was agreed that they would put a pin in this mining trip and return to the caves, drop off the gear and the gargoyle, then Ashe would take Santiago to the Mansion. At Santiago's eager prompting, Ashe gathered up the tools, any interesting rocks he could find on perusal, then he gathered up the helpers. Inyala was easy, of course; she was on his shoulder, where he'd put her, where he knew where to find her. Pity this trip had also been so boring for her!
Crux was harder to pull away from his job - he may not have found anything too useful, but he was enjoying his hole immensely. Finally, Ashe was able to drag him away and they set off, with the promise of treasure in the near future, and the promise of exploring this place properly for its own treasure in the further future.
Santiago: 3 0/5
Ashe: 0 15/20
Inyala: 3 0/5
Crux: 3 0/5
