> Xentus, alone Xentus had learned about the recent stock of kairfuryoo at the imports shop, coming to garner himself a couple of the egg gremlins for his kennel. And perhaps he'd find something else he fancied while he was there. Though, he really didn't need to have more pets to take care of.. It didn't take long wandering the street before he happened upon the store, but not by sight. Finding this place was as easy as sniffing it out. Or keeping a keen ear out for the various calls of the creatures within.
The door jingles as he enters, and his sight is greeted by the myriad of cages and creatures within. Definitely the place he was looking for. A few of the caged beasts caught his attention, distracting him from what he'd came here to buy. But, with a shake of his head, he turned to find the counter with a sheepish smile to make his needs known.
"Greetings. This one is in the market for ah.. Egg keepers."
Mavrik had been getting quite a few customers lately that were buying things instead of dropping things off, so he was pleased to see another customer come in that didn't have any carts or anything full of critters within sight. He twitches and ear as he listens and then nods. "I do have some kairfuryoo in stock if you are interested!" He said, moving over to the enclosures where several of them were kept. "They are separated by cost." He said, informatively. Chance slept near the door, unalarmed by anything.
"Excellent", the leopard grinned, happy to hear he hadn't missed out on the chance at having a couple of the bird-like beings. Xentus followed after the shopkeeper to the enclosures, eyeing the different varieties of Kairfuryoo offered here. They came in all kinds of colors! It was certainly more of a rainbow than he expected. Mainly soft pastels tones, but there were some much more vibrant ones as well. A couple of black ones, and a very colorful orange variety. He nodded as the man explained the price difference between the varying kinds. Of course, the one he had his eyes on was on the more expensive side from what he could tell.. But that was hardly any matter. He had already had his mind set.
"Xentus would like one of the bright orange ones.. Ember", he announced, leaning in to read the the signs, "as well as a grey one. Dusty."
This customer seemed to be really interested in buying, and Mavrik was more than pleased. Whenever the selections were made, he nodded. "That's 250 credits for the Ember, and 50 for the Dusty. So 300 credits altogether." After this of course, he'd be more than willing to wrangle the selections to help the customer out. "Would there be anything more you'd be interested in today?" Long shot, but he figured he'd try!
He would be lying if he said there wasn't anything else he was interested in. Between the few different creatures he saw and the many more that he could hear, there were certainly ones that he would love to add to his personal menagerie. The leopard was a fan of big beasts over small ones, and he had an extremely soft spot for wiurns. He spotted a few of them earlier upon entry and did his best to distract his mind from their presence. Perhaps he would have to return some other time for them.
"There are certainly some interesting other beasts here..", he started, then shook his head, "but perhaps on a different visit this one might decide to take them off your hands. The egg keepers will be all for now." A decline made as politely as he could muster. But hopefully his words would tease the shop keeper and have them look forward to his future return. Nothing like the promise of a return customer. Xentus fetched a coin pouch from his pocket, checking the sum within before presenting it to the shopkeeper. "Payment as due"
Mavrik was more than happy to get this sale, let alone the promise of a 'maybe' sale in the future. "Sure-" He said, grinning anyway. "Undoubtedly we'll have interesting things around here for ya." He said, then very quickly second-checked the payment out of habit. At this, he turned towards the Kairfuryoo to wrangle them up. "Thank you, and here you are-" he said, presenting the leads that they used here to help folks get the creatures home, each one with a desired kairfuryoo on the end.
Silver: Don't stress it, whatever you do! They're not too expensive. :3

Sevyrn: ... Silv, you're an absolute angel. Like seriously. Consider it replaced as soon as I'm done in Nature's Bounty, though. I'd feel bad about just taking it from you.

Sevyrn: I have two from when they were first released, so I figured why not give it a shot now that there's something to really do with them. Plus breedables. I love breedables.
