After the snack was over, it seemed to be cuddle time - Rainbow wiped strawberry juices off his face with one dark paw and then leaped on to Sevyrn's lap, curling up rather contentedly with his head resting on his paws. He watched the little lady on the cushion beside him rather happily, waiting for her to finish her snack as well, and once she had finished munching he vocalized. It seemed to be that he was urging her to come over and lay down with him because it only took a moment for Trip to climb on to Sevyrn's lap as well, much more gingerly than the boy had done. Moments like this were part of why she had been born with two hands - one for each of the little creatures cozied up with each other on her lap. It was a sweet little moment - had she had her lap free she would have started sketching the pair curled up with each other so comfortably to give to Trip's owner after she was returned. It seemed that this was one moment that would only ever belong to the three of them, though. She could live with that - it was a moment that she got to be a part of.

With one hand petting each orbaru, Sevyrn actually ended up dozing off for a little while - there was no way of telling whether or not the pair had joined her for that quick snooze, though. Her eyes fluttered open to the sound of little footsteps on the ground, and she hazily glanced around until she caught sight of the two orbaru playing a little 'tug of war' game with each other over one of the stuffed animals. A soft, serene smile formed on Sevyrn's lips as she watched the scene rather peacefully. Breedings were oddly enjoyable to supervise - it was a relaxed, no-pressure environment in which everyone had as long as they needed, and there were so many cute moments to see. Back at the kennel Sevyrn always loved watching her orbaru play and bond with each other, and this was much the same just in a different location. "What are you two up," she asked them in that groggy, still half asleep rasp. Neither of them seemed to notice that they were being talked to but that was okay - Sevyrn greatly preferred that the pair were focusing on each other rather than paying attention to her. Last time had been different.

The last time that Sevyrn had been down to the breeding center, Cyprus and Tanner hadn't wanted to let go of her to play with each other for the longest time. Sevyrn had a feeling that had to do with the fact that they had known her forever, and as such she was like part of the family. Rainbow hadn't been with her for long and Sevyrn had only met Trip a few hours before, so they didn't have that bond with her that the first pair had. Hopefully Rainbow would bond with her given time, but Sevyrn didn't want that to interfere with his ability to bond with a female and be a father. He was a rather stunning orbaru, and Sevyrn really hoped to have him back in the breeding center again at some point - as much as the older members of the troupe had her fondness due to how long they had been together, as of right now he was her top pick for breeding potential. The others might get their chance at one point, but they were all very happy in their own little group and none of them seemed to want much more in life than what they already had.

After a while it seemed to be that the pair had started a new game - hopping up and down on the other arm of the chair and the free cushion of the couch after each other. Sevyrn didn't know how they were able to run so many circles around without getting dizzy or losing even the slightest touch of energy, but somehow orbaru seemed to always have more energy that she could even imagine having. Maybe as child she might have had that much life to her, but those were memories of long ago and at this point Sevyrn wouldn't be able to recall correctly. All she could do for now was sit and watch, adore the orbaru as they played games of chase with each other round and round - what silly little creatures they could be, it was part of their appeal. She couldn't keep watching forever, though - it was starting to make her dizzy and she wasn't even the one running around. For now she would get back to her book or at least try to focus on that - she would check back in with the little guys in a few minutes and see how they were doing, as long as nothing seemed to go wrong before then.

Sevyrn... was not able to focus on that book for any longer. As much as she loved to learn, she worked better hands on - reading was not her forte as she struggled to hold her attention when she tried. It wasn't a problem with the book but rather her own absent-minded attention span, she needed more than mental stimulation to stay interested in something. That was likely why gardening and mining came easy to her - when she was working on that she was actively involved in something - while fishing was... less interesting. It was more standing and waiting around than actively doing and that was what she needed in order to really put her head in to the game and work on something. Her pond did need some of those fishies, though... she really needed to make a point to head back out with Bez and bring something home.
There she was distracted again - pulling herself back to reality once more, Sevyrn scanned the room to find the pair of orbaru, who were currently cuddled up on a little pet bed grooming each other. Perhaps now was time to pull out her sketchbook - that was a picture that she could gladly hand back to Trip's owner.

Art was one of the things that Sevyrn could immediately entrance herself in and not lose focus until either she was finished or something pressing needed her attention. Pencil in hand she got lost in what she created, occasionally glancing up from the paper to take in the orbaru who seemed so content just cuddling up with each other. Perhaps they were close to being ready to breed? Sevyrn could only hope, though this round at the breeding center didn't seem to be as drawn out as the last one. Given how long it had taken for Cyprus and Tanner to simply leave her side and start playing with each other, the way that these two had taken to each other was a blessing. Stroke after stroke she worked on a lightly done outline, stopping to fix up little errors and things that she found herself questioning. Eventually it was time to work on the shading, something that she had a much easier time with than the lines themself. She tried to work slowly here, taking the time to get everything just right - and just like with the rest she was picky. Sevyrn wanted everything to turn out just perfect.

The orbaru didn't want to wait for Sevyrn to be done drawing them before they were ready to get back to playing with each other, but luckily Sevyrn didn't have that much work left to do on the drawing at that point. There were a couple touch ups that it needed, fixing up some shading, straightening some choppy line work, but nothing that needed the reference to still be in front of her face. All was well - the two could bounce around and play as much as their little hearts desired. That was what they were here for after all, and Sevyrn wasn't going to stop them from doing what they were supposed to be doing even if she was nowhere near done with the picture. Rainbow and Trip didn't seem to want her attention which was all the better - it meant that she was still free to continue what she was doing. As they dashed around, Sevyrn worked on those last touches until she was happy with what she had - a rather adorable and slighty stylized picture of the two orbaru curled up together and grooming each other, an adorable sight that she'd got to experience with a very adorable pair.

It was as she spent that moment giving the picture a final glance that she hear rummaging by her feet, and Sevyrn looked down to find Rainbow trying to dig through her backpack. Did he knows that she had more strawberries in there? He must. It had been a while since the last time that she had given the pair a treat, so maybe it was time to hand out another one. With a gentle push Sevyrn moved the orbaru away from her supplies and picked her backpack up. With it on her lap she opened it and looked through her belongings until she found exactly that the little guy seemed to be looking for - a couple more of those freshly picked strawberries, straight from her garden. "Is this what you want, buddy?" She asked him, and her soft voice seemed to catch the attention of Trip, who was off playing with one of the toys. She happily bounded over to the woman after she caught sight of the snack, and placed her paws on Sev's knees as she waited anxiously. "Here ya go, there's only one more left for each of you after this, though. You'll have to enjoy it."

Munch, munch, munch - Rainbow and Trip were happy little buggers as they downed another of the strawberries. Sevyrn loved bringing them as treats - they were great for the happiness of potential parents, of course, but she also regularly stopped by the orbaru room at the kennel and would drop off a load of the things for the troupe to share. The strawberry plants in her garden seemed to be doing well this year, so she always had plenty to spare - more than she could eat, and it wasn't like she had too many friends to offer them to. That was okay... Sevyrn liked her pets better than other people, anyways. Once the two were done they ran off to start playing again, and Sevyrn pulled out a small container of her freshly picked raspberries for herself - those were another benefit of tending her own garden. She had hated having to wait until the little guys ran back off, but Sev knew that if she had tried to eat her own snack while they were still around, at least one of the pair would have heckled her hoping to get his greedy little paws on some of those berries himself. That just wasn't happening today.

It didn't take long for Sevyrn to down the whole container of raspberries - that girl was weak for any kind of fruit but especially the berry variety. There was a reason why she had so many bushes scattered about her back yard, a row of strawberry plants, and a tall peach tree giving shade to the few who lived within the walls. Perhaps that was what she would do after everything was said and done here - head back home and put a couple more hours in to that garden of hers. It was a good idea, there was always work to be done after all. New (expanded) fencing, cleaning the pond, pulling weeds.... Sevyrn spent more time back there than she did doing almost anything else, and that wasn't a problem at all. Rainbow was one of the orbaru that would be coming to her place at some point, and she would hopefully be taking his babies there with him. With the way that him and Trip were bouncing around playing with each other and curling up together over the last little while, it seemed inevitable that they would be ready to head home soon. After last time, Sevyrn knew what she was waiting for.

Everything had been calm - and then Trip ran off at full speed from one side of the room where Rainbow was all the way to the other side. She turned to face him, and as he started to chase after her she cleared the path to the other side with ease, avoiding him by inches when the passed each other. He'd turned around like a whip to chase after her, only for her to dash once again as he got close. They were back at it playing another game of tag, and Trip was quite obviously winning - she was much, much faster than the rainbow-striped orbaru could ever hope to be. He would have to rely on luck to catch her, and it seemed like he wasn't have any until after a few minutes when he finally managed to hop and land on top of her. Trip's legs fell out beneath her and she let out a huff as her belly and chest hit the floor. Sevyrn had to laugh just a little, though she watched to make sure that everyone was doing alright. They seemed to be having fun, though - it was nothing but a game... one that Trip was definitely winning.

The game kept going - and going and going and going. Trip's speed put her at an advantage and unlike her name would make one expcet, she wasn't the kind to trip over her own feet. Rainbow seemed to be having a blast with her, though. Like watching them chase each other around the couch, watching them clear the length of the room over and over again was enough to feel Sevyrn feeling tired out. It was adorable and they were having fun, though, so how Sevyrn felt while lazing around on the couch was of little importance. She was ready to take her eyes off of them for a little bit, though. Maybe now would be a good time to pull that book back out and get a few more pages in her before it was time to head back home. The orbaru didn't seem to need any help from her, or even attention - they would be fine. First she pushed her glasses back up the bridge of her freckled nose, then once she was ready she picked her training guide back up off the arm of the couch, found the page that she had left off on, and got back in to it.

One page, two page, three - what were the little guys up to? Were they ready to head out? Last time the flash of Tanner's tail had been so bright that she'd been able to see it despite having her nose buried in her sketchbook, so that was most likely a firm no. Sevyrn could dream, though. Being cooped up in the small room was starting to get to her and she was getting antsy and ready to head back home. Hopefully the orbarus wouldn't notice that she was getting ready to go, though. The last thing that Sevyrn wanted to do was make them feel rushed to be finished here, or even worse lose interest in each other entirely. Hopefully she would only have to wait it out a few more minutes - Rainbow and Trip were incredibly friendly with each other and getting along better than she had hoped given that they had never met each other before today. Trip was seeming to be even more receptive to physical contact as well, which Sevyrn saw as a positive sign that they were nearly ready, and pretty soon there would be new babies to go home with. Regardless, it was worth the wait.

Okay... back to the book. Rainbow and Trip were cuddled up together, grooming each other once more, and they didn't seem to need any encouragement or involvement from the woman superverising. Sevyrn just was not feeling what the book had to offer in that moment, though, so she turned her attention to her sketchpad - that would likely suit her much better in that moment. What to draw, though? She had already finished the picture of Trip and Rainbow together. Maybe something of her ghaenelt? They were some of her favourites... how did everything have a spot as her favourite, though? The equillion, the ghaenelts, her mosca, her orbaru - she would call every single one of them her favourite and yet they all kind of just shared that spot in her heart. A couple specific creatures would always be near and dear to her, but everyone was loved so, so much by her and she always did her best to give everyone what they needed to be happy and more. She was known for going above and beyond for everything that happened to be in her care, and that was something she found pride in. She decided on Bez and Brin for the drawing, after all,

Maybe she would have to try and make a group picture of the whole troupe some day - all of her orbaru in one. She would need to get the orbaru shack set up first, though, so that she had an idea of what the environment would look like... After that it was just a matter of mastering the shape of orbarus bodies, something she was already skilled with, placing a bunch of them around and then coloring them appropriately. It would be quite the effort, taking so long to pencil in each of the babies in a way that seemed to suit their character, but then she could frame it and hang it up on the wall of the orbaru shack... or something? She didn't quite know just yet, but that picture would have to happen at some point whether it was sooner or later... it just had to. This drawing was going well, at least - she'd drawn ghaenelt a hundred times over and even though Brin had that tricky second head, it was easy enough to work with. It was as she was finishing the drawing up that she peered over the paper to see what was going on with the orbaru.
