It was a beautiful day; one of many the last week! The small coin-purse bounced against Yangs' leg as she walked down the backwoods trail, brimming with coin from working overtime underneath the dim fluorescent lights of the Labs. A rare day where everything needed to be done was finished, and all that could be done had a wait period- fetus' growths & DNA combination took time, and what better way to spend that wait by heading to the shops? Reinic had produced wonderful, healthy little lola, and seeing the lil' babs floating in the pond nestled within her garden, urged her towards making the leap and growing them- all of them! Credits were coming in steadily, and with more work on the way, Yang was confident that more lotine in the gardens would be beneficial to the whole of everything.
The bell dinged softly when she walked past the garden pots & pushed the door open, giving a general glance around the place but otherwise heading straight to the glass cabinent; she knew what she needed and as nice as the variety of items were, she had a mission!
"Morning; I'm looking to get a single Potion of Lola Maturity,"
"Sure thing!"[/url] Turner said cheerfully as his head popped up over the top of the counter. He was wrestling with a rather nasty little plant at the moment, and so he nodded to where they were stocked on one of the shelves, "Help yourself and I'll be with you as soon as I get this repotted!"
Yang glanced around and spotted where the bottles were stocked. She spared the man a glance of light concern, walking over towards the shelves. This was no doubt part of his usual work, maybe even an every-other day occurrence. She did a hem and haw a moment, giving the man time to wrestle with his plant. There were a variety of bottles, many in high quantity, and the one she was after was well as well stocked as the rest. Picking the first one she could reach, and giving another quick glance over the other available items (colorful and interesting! she had some credits, but not nearly enough for more than what she aimed to get) walking it back to the counter with a confident clutch. She rested it on the counter, and leaned in slight, looking on at the aggressive plant in quiet earnest interest.
"You ok there? Almost lookin' like a betting-match from where I'm standin',"
Plant vs. planter; an epic showdown in Yangs' imagination, where it frittered over the percentage of reality where lethally aggressive man-eating plants would win in such a fight.
Turner laughed at that as he finally got the plant into the pot and potting soil put around it. He set it next to the window and wiped his hands off on his apron, giving the customer a nod, "Yeah! It needs repotted every now and then, it's a fight I go through every few months. 300 credits for the potion!"
Yang handed over the credits, nodding to his response. "I'm sure it's gotta be worthwhile, somethin' that offers that much of a fight, eh?" Yang had zero knowledge on plants and their levels of rarity (or aggression), but surely the more aggressive ones were of a 'rarer' variety; or at the least, those who went out of their way to collect them, would have to pay for the handling & transport of the things. Either or, it sounded lucrative enough.. to the right people. She wasn't going hunting after dangerous plants in the near future, as far as she could recall.
