He'd oriiginally been sent his own breaking equipment during the initial disasterous attempt to break Sidewinder's will. This time, he'd pay the favor forward. The humanish found his way back to the pachee shop where he had originally purchased things. Someone had waved him down and offered a list again, and credits. The list wasn't long though, but a full set of breaking equipment? And a pachee berry, the one with leaves on it. He could do that, yes. Odd jobs give a little bit of cash flow after all. Flare stretched his arms up towards the sky briefly, standing up on his toes in a full body stretch. It felt like it had lengthened his spine a little, though that sounded unusual since its already longer then normal with a tail. Finger combing his mane out of his eyes, he opened the door to the store and went inside, heading for the counter. "Hello again. I'm looking for some breaking equipment and a masculine pachee berry."
"As natural as the color can get." Flare replied back to the man with an increase of confidence. He never did understand the thick smelly dyes that some people tried to color their leather gear with; it smelled enough to begin with, why treat it worse? He fished out his credit pouch and held it underhand, ready to fish out the coins of what he needed to pay. The last time he was in here, there was plenty to see, and this man took good care of his plants and his shop. It felt homey in here. With all the vividly blooming and fruiting bushes and trees about. Flare knew himself; he'd be lying blatantly if his inner plant hoarder wasn't wanting to flit about in here and take samples home to try and propogate; Though that might overstep his boundaries as a customer; asking for a snip of someone's plants.... was it? "Does it cost anything to ask for a small snip of plant to try and propogate? I'm curious if it would do in sandy soil." he asks, gesturing at a random plant on the shelf. x.20
Turner plopped all of the gear onto the counter and grabbed a Pachee berry as well. As he began to bag up all the items, he thought about it with a shrug, "I can tell you they won't bloom in sandy soil, but it'll grow at least! 205 credits today, the snippet on the house for the first time."
Two iron coins and five coppers; Flare counted out the money and put it between them, watching the man bag up the supplies. Surprising how small some of it could wrap up into when not unraveled on the floor or tied up on an animal. At least a two handed bag to be sure. Unfortunately none of his companion creatures were large enough to carry about shopping bags full of heavy leather gear. Were they? But it won't bloom. So it won't likely fruit. Propegation would work enough though. "A snippet on the house sounds fantastic. I can bring you back any results I have." Perhaps mixing sandy soil with compost would provide the nutrition the plant requires to be able to bloom properly. Some lilies need more fertlizer then others to propogate blooming. Other plants bloom as a sign of stress, oddly enough in tropical houseplants. "It is appreciated; from my own homeland, the soil is sandy and loose and difficult to get most other plants to root without lots of amendment." x.20
Nodding at the reply, Turner counted up the credits quickly and swept them behind the counter before he handed over the bags and saddle, "I get that, you'll definitely have to let me know how it goes. Good luck!"
