Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Belial had actually managed to win the last match, it had been an unbroken brown, sure, but that was about all he could hope to defeat. The other drake had just sort of froze up, its unblemished hide made Nerius suspect it was the beast's first tournament, maybe that had something to do with it? That sort of thing happened on occasion, Belial had done it a few times in his early fighting days. The brown was much better at trying for a kill these days, but there was no enemy for him to sink his claws into as he was released into the arena. Nerius had been unusually punctual for fights he wasn't really invested in, and yet again was the first to arrive. Better than rushing in at the last minute, he supposed. Belial prowled the sands, as he usually did, while Nerius waited in the handler's box, looking mildly bored. [Ready] (Belial: Lv: 35, 52/55) (Nerius: 7/20)

Another day, another fight. The last one had been interesting, if a bit disappointing. Kadin now knew that Lucio was capable of taking down both tier 3s and tier 2s, as long as they weren't trained enough to stand against him. Now they had yet another fight ahead of them and he was a little... surprised? When they walked into the arena only to see another brown. Huh. Were all sarane tournaments like this? He'd only been in one before and that one had been all hens. Most of them were trained. He wasn't sure if you COULD enter untrained hens. But this drake tournament seemed a bit... different. At least this brown didn't look like he was completely out of his mind. Maybe it would post a challenge to Lucio? With a frown, Kadin watched at Lucio sized up the brown. Hopefully. They were due for more of a challenge sooner or later.

Well, time to get started. Kadin rolled his shoulders, watching as Lucio eyeballed the brown in front of him. The red lifted his lips, showing off his teeth as he considered his opponent. Kadin couldn't help but wonder how much of it was typical posturing and how much of it was actual bottled rage that Lucio felt, like so many other sarane experienced. Luckily, Lucio didn't feel the need to answer every stray thought like other drakes (namely Kek) did. He let Kadin ponder for a moment until both drakes seemed ready and he shook his head, shaking himself out of it.
"Hmm. Breathe fire, Lucio." Kadin suggested. They could use another move, like crunch or bite, but Lucio knew how to breathe fire. They trained it. Might as well use it. The drake nodded to himself before surging forward to get into range, flames licking at his jaws while he did so.

A red this time, Nerius noted as their opponents arrived, somewhat surprised. Had the rumors of a brown heavy tournament been exaggerated? So far two out of three of the drakes he'd faced were other breeds. It was a bit of a shame, in a detached sort of way, between the jewelry and ribbon, Nerius would bet money that this red was trained, and Belial would be no match for him.
The brown's reaction to the red only furthered the suspicion that the other drake would outmatch him. Belial snarled, flaring his wings, but took a jerky step backwards, still hostile, but intimidated. He still tried, and to Nerius it looked like he was moving to try to flank the red and attack from the side. Nerius doubted it would work though, his initial hesitation had cost him time, and the red was already in motion. He hadn't been able to make out the other handler's command, but he could already see flames around the red's jaws.
[Belial tries to do something]

Calculations
Lucio uses Breathe Fire! Lucio's Dexterity of 5 + 5 rolled by staff = 10 vs. the 2 Dexterity of Belial Lucio will deal the most damage possible! Breathe Fire does 10 damage Belial's Stamina is now -3
The Brown, frozen in fear, attempts to do something, but the flames take him down before he can move. The Pit crew rush to tend to him.
Results Lucio gains 2 levels and Kadin gains 5 pit prize points Belial gains 1 level and Nerius gains 3 pit prize points
