Typically the bespectacled human would stop by the 'Curious Collections' in order to peruse for signs of magic. It was quite easy for someone like theirself (magically inclined, though perhaps not through native birth) to sense such things, and for whatever reason the Curious Collections proprietor seemed to be able to source them easier than anyone else in the Labs. Due to this they always made sure to bring a variety of junk they'd found in order to possibly trade. One never could tell what the eccentric Trader would like to trade for any given thing, so variety was key.
This time, however, instead of cruising about the tables until they located the crystals- Morgan's eyes landed nearly immediately on what had to be the coolest creature in the entire world. Their mouth forms a surprised expression before melting into a determined one. Immediately they move to the trader, and sit a basket filled with items from the River, Mines, and Mansion down on the table. "I-is there anything in hu-here that you'd take for the... Robot... Well, that thing t-there." Morgan points to it. Perhaps they were unused to finding something they'd be so interested in that was not indeed magic.
Morgan was always at least a little concerned with how social situations were going to work out. Sure, as a very young individual their father had taken them to all sorts of social gatherings and taught them basic courtesy, but something about losing him and then being alone at such a young age had fostered the habits of a shut-in. As such, they never entirely felt secure in these sorts of situations, let alone trading and bartering with someone that was legitimately an enigma of a being. They were quite used to dealing with abnormal individuals in dealings- that wasn't really it... But they were used to seeing someone's countenance at least to some degree while making dealings.
Still, the rather unceremonious way that the Trader selected items suitable for a trade and then practically washed hands of the situation was refreshing. Morgan nods to the trader in thanks, tries to hide the relieved expression on their face- and then leaves with the creature without even trying to look for magic this time. After all- they were quite embarrassed about their outburst.

Renathan: Reminds me of those spiders that wave limbs around with little fan-like parts on them that are multi-colored/patterned.
