Lal Bors stared at the job board again with a long sigh. The last one had gone rather well and he'd gotten a card to carry on him from now on with points on it somehow that he could spend at the shop that only took these. Frowning, he didn't know what to do about things right now, but he figured he would try the best he could. He'd heard of a job that went down at the docks and figured he was going to do that one for some reason. Still, he had to find the listing and the people who gave the job in the first place. That was the issue, he didn't know who was going to give him the job in the first place. This was going to be fine, he knew, and looked down at Lal. She was the only one who could go to the Docks, he figured. [1/20 Lal: 6 1/5]

Lal was a little pleased to be with the man, though she wasn't sure what to do at the moment. Tilting her head a little, she looked up at him and wondered what they were going to do for the moment. The Uthax had said... something at least, but she didn't know what he was talking about. All she knew was that there would be water involved and she was all for that! Bors glanced down at her with a shrug and plucked something from the board, wrinkling his nose for a moment before nodding to himself and asking a passerby to read it for him. In his broken Common, he relayed what he was trying to do, and they pointed him in the correct direction to meet with the people who had posted the job. At least it was something he could do, he figured with a small sigh, hand on Lal's head.

Bors didn't know what to do right now, he was having problems thinking which wasn't a good thing. Giving a little sigh, he gently pulled on the leash attached to Lal and then headed toward the city, where the shops were. He had to talk to the twins who ran the bookstore, and that was fine, but he knew there would be some language barrier there before he went on to the Docks. He just hoped Lal wouldn't have an issue with being out of the water for too terribly long. Sure she could survive out of water for awhile, but he didn't know how long and all that. Giving a little frown, he looked down at her for a moment and shrugged, not sure what he was going to do with her just yet. Smiling, he hoped that it was going to be alright in the long run, but he wasn't going to be sure.

Lal had high hopes for what they were doing, and she was starting to trust the large man more than she had already from the breedings she had done. Already she had produced three Lola for him, which was interesting considering she didn't think she would have done that for anyone else. They were all varied as well, which was very nice. Bors patted her on the head and poked his own head through the doorway to the shop where the twins were and grunted, getting their attention. After a brief start, they came over and started to tell him, which he understood a little of, what they needed him to do for them at this point. Apparently some books had gotten lost down at the Docks and he needed to go get them or something. Someone 'shady' was down there as well, since when were there trees there anyway?

Sighing a little, Bors nodded and then turned around, gently pulling the leash again as Lal followed behind him. Sure he could carry her, but that would mean she wouldn't get to strengthen herself any at this point, which was an issue as well. She needed to be strong if she was going to give him good Lola in the future after all. Still, he needed to go past the job board and down to the Docks where he was supposed to look for someone who seemed a little out of place or something. He didn't know what that really meant, the Docks were a strange place to him, he'd never seen so much water in his life after all. However, he was going to try his best to get this shipment to the twins, and then he would look at the job board a little more at this point he figured with a smile.

The Docks were a ways away he knew, and on the other side of the job board, which meant he was going to have to go past it again, which wasn't necessarily an issue, but annoying all the same. Lal seemed to be wearing out a bit, she hadn't been on ground this much involuntarily for quite some time, so the large Uthax picked her up and draped her over his shoulders so she didn't have to keep going the way she had been going. It was the least he could do to bond with the Lotine, he figured with a low chuckle, and he wondered what he was going to find down at the Docks. This was going to be interesting, but he knew if he finished this then he would have enough to buy some credits from the shop, which was really what he was after at this point.

Bors was sure that Lal would slip into the water at the Docks as soon as they got there, but he didn't know what all she would do there aside from swim a little bit. That was the thing, she knew how to, obviously, because she lived in a little pond at the Kennel, but for now he hoped she wouldn't try and slip away from him, make a break for it, so to speak. That would be the worst, and he shook his head a little as he thought about it. All he knew was, he needed to find someone who looked a little... off at the Docks and then he would find the missing books for the twins. That seemed easy enough, but he figured he would have to scour the Docks in order to find the person he was supposed to be looking for at this point.

The fact that he didn't necessarily like to fight if he could help it wasn't going to help here. If the character he was looking for was indeed a little off, then there was a chance he was going to have to shake him down a little bit, which was annoying in and of itself. Sighing, he patted Lal's head as he walked toward the Docks still, wondering what he was going to have to do. Being big and strong was interesting, but it wasn't much good if he didn't want to fight anyone or anything at the same time. It wasn't like he was quick on his feet either. Sure he could take big strides, but that was about it, he couldn't move too quickly which was what most people could do at this point he knew. Giving a little sigh, he passed the job board and picked up the pace a little.

He wasn't sure where to look for the person he needed to find first, so he would just wander the Docks for awhile when he got there with Lal, he figured. Surely he could find someone pretty easily, right? It couldn't be that busy at least, he figured with a low sigh. Bors didn't know what to do with himself right now, he was a little bored and didn't want to do this job, but a job was a job and he hadn't had anyone asking for a breeding for awhile, so he needed the work. Oh well, it didn't really matter the more he thought about it, while bored, yes, at least he was doing something and that was enough for him right now. Pushing forward toward the Docks, he hoped that it was going to be alright in the end, though there was no real way to tell right now.

While he wasn't too keen on being by the water for too long, he hated when his fur got wet, he knew that this job was going to help him get what he needed to open his shop. It wasn't enough for him to just have the permit, which he already had thanks to the Zu being his patron for now, he needed to have his prizes and things like that, which he needed credits for, he figured with a low sigh. Bors scratched his head and rubbed Lal's head with his other hand as he finally reached the Docks and looked around. A shudder ran through his spine, he didn't know if he liked the look of all of this water, he could barely see the other shore across the lake, but he knew he needed to get it done if he was going to get enough credits to do what he wanted.

Lal was put onto the docks themselves as he looked around, uneasy about the whole situation. He didn't know what he wanted out of this, but he knew what he had to do at least. Sighing to himself, the large man shook his head and started toward the Docks that were further away, Lal slipping into the water next to him and swimming close by so she didn't lose sight of him. His eyes hurt, the sun gleaming off of the water was a little much for him, and he was going to have a headache before this was all over he knew. Hopefully he wouldn't take any lasting damage from this, maybe he should have done this at night, surely the person he was looking for would still be here then... Bors shook his head, it was too late, he was already here and that was enough for him to stay.

Bors kept an eye on Lal as he looked around the Docks as best as he could, though the sun hitting the water was really starting to affect his eyes at the moment. That wasn't good, he thought with a frown, and he stroked the beads in his beard for a bit as he tried to think of something. Some people wore something they called 'sunglasses', dark tinted lenses that covered their eyes and helped shade them from the sunlight. Maybe that was something he should look into for himself or something at this point? He shook his head as Lal patted him a little from the water, getting some of his leg fur wet. Bors wrinkled his nose a little at that, but he couldn't fault her for trying to make him feel a little better as they wandered the Docks, looking for the person they needed to find for this job.

As Lal swam about, keeping an eye out for things that looked odd as well, Bors frowned a little and shook his head, he didn't know what all he was looking for or where he could find them, but that was going to be alright, just look for someone who stood out, a little like him he supposed. Giving a bit of a sigh, Bors wished he knew what was going to happen for now, and he shrugged a bit, it didn't really matter he figured with a low chuckle. Well then, better get to looking... He glanced around, looking for a shifty person in a dark robe, apparently they kept it over their head as well, so no one really knew what they looked like. Better get to finding the guy, he figured with a grunt as he glanced down, making sure that Lal was still hanging around him in the water.

There wasn't much his gut told him, though he wished it would from time to time. Frowning, the man looked around and then back down at Lal who tilted her head at him a little. She wasn't sure what they were really looking for, but she was grateful for being in the water in such a large area no matter what. At least he was doing something with her aside from trying to get Lola from her, that was a good thing she figured with a bob of her head. Bors looked around and started to move further down into the Docks, and she pulled herself out of the water and pulled herself along behind him. If she got tired she knew he would pick her up again, there wasn't much he wouldn't do for his animals, she knew with a smile on her face. At least she had been gotten by a good one it seemed.

Bors glanced back at Lal for a moment, seeing her pulling behind him a little bit as he walked down further into the Docks. At least she was following him without the leash at this point, which was a good thing no matter how he looked at it. Frowning a little though, he looked around and thought he spotted something, but figured it would be a little intimidating if he went straight for the person in the robe, and he paused, trying to figure out how to do this exactly. This was the issue, he didn't want to scare the guy off, but he didn't want him getting away because he was taking too long as well. It was a hard thing to think of at the moment, but he would be able to get it done, he figured with a slow nod. At least Lal was with him, not that she would probably help.
