[Name - 5]
Jack was just happy things were going well, she knew, and she patted Moonbeam on the head, the little black and white puppy nipped at her a little out of surprise. Jack frowned and stated, "Moonbeam!" The little puppy shot her a guilty look and licked her hand a little out of guilt and then kept looking at her until she was given a small treat. There, she figured that was good enough for now, they could move on to something else now, right? It should be fine, but she tried it out once more. "Moonbeam!" she called out. The puppy looked over at her again, sniffing for a treat but shrugging a little when she realized she wasn't getting one at this point. Oh well, it didn't really matter, she was getting big enough as it was right now, right? Jack smiled, she was still proud of the little puppy no matter what.

[Come - 1]
"Come here Moonbeam!" Jack called out after moving back a few steps and holding a treat out for the little puppy to see. Moonbeam sniffed at the air for a moment and then stumbled over to the woman on somewhat wobbly legs. The woman grinned a bit and patted her on the head as she gave her the treat. Well that was off to a good start, not that she needed to work on things a lot with Moonbeam it seemed, but still she was going to do as much as she could with her little puppy as she did with her other animals to give her a little extra boost to the training. At least she knew what was going to happen, and she patted Moonbeam on the head again with a little chuckle. She was pretty cute, and for being Luna's granddaughter, she knew that she would be easy to train as well.

[Come - 2]
It would all come together and be worth it in the end, all of this training. She would be one of the better trained Houluh she had, next to Red and Luna that is. Jack just smiled a little and patted the puppy on the head before moving away again, making sure she saw the treat in her hand. The little black and white puppy took a step forward as Jack told her, "Come here, Moonbeam!" Barking and yipping, she bounded the rest of the way to the woman and put her paws up on her leg to get the treat, which the woman just chuckled a little and gave it to her before patting her on the head. She was pleased with the progress they were making, though it wasn't too much just yet. They had a long way to go, and the woman just hoped that things would work out for them.

[Come - 3]
They had only just begun but the woman was wondering if she should try to mix things up a little. Usually she only trained one animal at a time, should she bring Arvest in or something like that? It made sense, at least a little sense, but for now she would just work with Moonbeam and all would be well. "Come here, Moonbeam!" the woman said, backing away again and holding out a treat. Moonbeam slowly made her way over to the woman and pawed at her foot until she got the treat and a pat on her head. Very good, and she wished she knew if it was sitting with her or not. Frowning, she backed away again and wondered what she would do if it didn't stick with her. They would have to train again after awhile, and that was something she really didn't want to have to do again and again.

Maybe she would bring another in, maybe she wouldn't, it was hard for her to think about it for now, it had been a long time since she had trained more than one animal at a time. Sighing, she moved back a little further, this time without a treat in her hand, and called for the Houluh, "Moonbeam, come!" The little puppy loped after her as fast as her chubby little legs could carry her and then she pawed at the woman's shoe. Giving a laugh, she dug a small treat out of her bag and handed it over, watching as the little puppy chewed on it a little for a bit. She was pleased with the progress, but wasn't sure what to expect from now on. Hopefully things would work out for them in the future, but for now she had to focus on what was happening at the moment, and she needed to focus on Moonbeam's training.

She had the greatest time training though, she had to admit it as she backed away a little with a smile at the puppy. Animals needed to learn in order to be the most effective to people, and she had a great time wondering what she could train certain animals as well. While she had a list for Moonbeam, each Houluh was certainly different. "Come here Moonbeam!" the woman called out, and the little puppy charged after her, much more steady on her legs at this point, and then she curled up at her feet with a bit of a yawn. She was tired, but the woman couldn't really let her rest just yet. A few more things and then she could lay down and rest, but for now it was time to learn. Sure, some animals would fade out pretty quickly sometimes, but she just had to worry about Moonbeam and what was best for her right now.

[Stay – 1]
She was learning so well, Jack wasn’t sure what to do with herself. Only two things down, thirteen more to go, but that was alright, she could get it done no matter what. Smiling to herself, she held out a treat and backed away, ”Stay, Moonbeam.” The little pup paused a moment before charging after the woman as fast as her chubby little legs could take her, and the woman sighed, frowning, ”Stay!” Moonbeam paused, and in that pause got the treat to hopefully start her thinking that not moving is what got her the treat. Moonbeam gnawed on the treat while laying down and stared at Jack for a little bit, unsure of what was going on, but sure she didn’t quite like it. The woman hadn’t spoken to her like that before, after all! It was going to get worse when they started on the training of no, Jack knew, but oh well, it would be alright.

[Stay – 2]
Jack hoped this training would go well, but with the pitiful look on the Houluh’s face, she knew it would end up breaking her heart. The woman sighed a little and looked at Moonbeam again, ”Stay.” The little pup started following her, but Jack frowned and said it again, ”Stay, Moonbeam!” Yelping, Moonbeam skidded to a stop and looked at her with sad eyes, and the woman tried to keep herself composed as best as she could. It was hard, but she managed, and she gave the puppy a treat. This was going to go well, she knew, they would do the hardest stuff first and then work on some of the more cutesy tricks, like kisses. That would be cute, she knew, and she bet the people in the Contest Hall would love to see it and all that. Hopefully it would be alright and worth it in the end of the training.

It was going well so far at least, and the woman smiled a little at the puppy. She didn’t know when she would technically be a juvenile, but she wasn’t all that worried about it just yet. Things would happen when they happened and there wasn’t much she could do about it right now. Giving a little sigh, she showed the puppy the treat again and then told her, ”Moonbeam, stay.” She watched as the puppy wagged her tail a little and then finally started to come toward her, to which she sternly said, ”Stay.” Moonbeam stopped walking and put her head down a little, sulking just a bit from being told off a little. Jack sighed again, she wished that working with puppies wasn’t so difficult for her emotions, but here she was and there wasn’t much she could do about it, she knew. Everything would go well though, she knew they would and all that.

[Stay – 4]
She was doing so well, she knew that things would be fine no matter what. Jack patted her on the head and then moved back while showing her a treat again. ”Stay, Moonbeam,” she told her, and as she moved backwards, the woman smiled as she saw a paw move for a moment and the Houluh took a step forward, but before she could say anything, the puppy stopped moving and tilted her head a little bit, wondering what was going on at the moment. Giving a little yip, she pawed at the air and then the woman walked over and gave her the treat. There, she was doing so much better, and she smiled a little as she looked at her. Things were going well, and the woman wondered what was going on at the same time, and she hoped that everything would be fine. Jack pushed her hair back and plopped a hat on her head, she was getting a little frustrated with how slow this was.

[Stay – 5]
Sure, she knew training a puppy was harder than training a fully grown animal, but at the same time, why did it have to take so long in the first place? She groaned and rubbed her face before going through the motions again. Things would be fine right now, but she had to make sure. ”Moonbeam, stay,” she told her with a frown as she backed away, and the little puppy stayed where she was at this point, realizing a little what she was supposed to be doing. She barked as loud as she could, which wasn’t very loud in the first place, and then tilted her head, her ears flopping to one side. Jack smiled and tossed her the treat, wondering if they should do what they were doing at the moment no matter what. Whatever, it all worked out in the long run, she knew, and the woman scratched behind the Houluh’s ears as she looked at her.

This training always tended to hit her hard, but that was alright, this wasn't that big of a deal. Of course it would be hard for Moonbeam to do something she didn't want for her to do, but... whatever, it would be fine. Jack smiled a little and put the bag of treats on the ground as she sat down, and then lightly popped the Houluh on the nose when she went straight for them. "No, Moonbeam!" she told her, wracked with guilt at the action. Moonbeam sat back and howled cutely at the action, but then pouted a little, wondering what had gone wrong. If the treats were on the ground, then it meant they were free game, right? She looked back at the woman and then tilted her head, wondering what was going to happen. This wasn't good, and she needed to learn this quickly, she decided with a slight nod.

Jack always felt bad about training this trick, but it was necessary when it all came down to it. Frowning a little, the woman reached out to lightly pop Moonbeam on the nose again, "No, Moonbeam!" The Houluh puppy had started to inch toward the treats again, and then plopped down after the little hit and huffed. This was annoying and she didn't know what was going to happen at this point. She didn't know what to do with things, and that was fine, but she wished she knew what was supposed to happen. This was the issue, she knew, and the woman sighed a little, glancing up at the sky and touching the rings around her neck. All this protection, all this power, but she had no one... Oh well, it was fine at the same time, maybe she wasn't supposed to have anyone other than her animals, it seemed like it at least.

It would be fine in the end, she knew life was rough right now for everyone, but... it still hurt that she was all alone right now. Sure she had some friends and all that, but there wasn't anyone she could go home to. Chuckling at herself for thinking that, she reached out to pop Moonbeam again when she went for the treats once more, but the Houluh backed away when she heard her say it, "No, Moonbeam!" Moonbeam planted herself on the ground and yipped at the woman for a moment, and managed to get a treat for doing a job well done. It was fine, she knew, and the little one was learning pretty well so far, but she wasn't sure what else to expect from her right now. All she knew was that things would be fine in the end of it all, and she just hoped she was doing her training well enough.

Well, the training was going well enough and that was good for the woman at this point. Jack smiled a little and then frowned at the puppy as Moonbeam moved toward the treats again. She shook her head, "No, Moonbeam!" The puppy backed away again and then laid down, whining a little under her breath, a high pitched sound the woman could barely hear. That was fine, she knew it was going to be fine, but for now she had to be mean to Moonbeam, it was the only thing she knew she needed to do at this point. It hurt though, just like a lot of things right now, but at least she knew it was for the good of the puppy's health and happiness to learn this. That was the hard part to swallow, she knew, and the woman shook her head and wished they could move on. Once more and they could, at least.
