September Post #22 They resumed their search of the mansion, allowing both humanish and Pasha-Sarane to take a break from training. Allowing for mental resets were important to Runa. It would be too easy to overload Goewihg considering how receptive she was to learning new things and how well behaved she already was. She suspected that prior to coming into her hands, Goewihg had been worked fairly hard as a young foal.
Goewihg was following behind her again, Runa checked every so often to make sure that the Pasha hadn't begun to wander off. She had munched on some of the vines that surrounded them earlier, ripping the vines out of the ground with relative ease. Runa had winced when she had done so, unsure if that was appropriate within the manor but frankly unable to do much about it. Goewihg had already eaten the vines by the time Runa thought perhaps she should prevent it.
She cast a glance around her. The door they had entered was still visible and she almost wondered if, perhaps, she should go back out that door and head through the other one? Maybe there would be something more interesting through that door. This room seemed unending and unchanging - nothing but rows upon rows of pumpkins.

September Post #23 Mind made up, Runa turned back toward the door and tapped her thigh twice to get the Pasha to follow her. She checked over her shoulder after a few moments to make sure that she really and truly was following and was happy to see that she was. She glanced back occasionally as they walked to be sure that the Pasha didn't get distracted but it seemed that she was content to follow Runa through this manor with no complaints.
The door did not seem to be getting closer, Runa noticed with a bit of concern. How far had they walked? It hadn't seemed like they'd gone so far in that the door shouldn't be getting any closer. And she hadn't had a similar issue when she left the mansion last time. She stopped and Goewihg stopped behind her, blowing out a breath that Runa felt on her shoulder. Maybe she just didn't have great perception of distance within the manor?
Regardless, that was the only way out of this room and out of the mansion if she wanted to leave. They would have to keep going. She double tapped her thigh again and started walking, Goewihg keeping pace with her this time, her presence reassuring Runa as they walked.

September Post #24 They finally seemed to be making some progress. Runa had tripped over some vines that she was pretty sure had not been there when she had taken the step at some point and now her knee was bleeding (something that she had thought Goewihg would be nervous about but she had merely sniffed at the bleeding knee with an air of disinterest). She didn't love that she was openly bleeding in a magical house of horrors but it couldn't be helped.
They were walking much slower now, Runa noted. Goewihg occasionally was getting ahead of her and then would seem to notice and double back to Runa, nudging at her as though wondering why exactly she had slowed down so much. Runa wondered if it was concern that drew Goewihg back to her or simply good behavior. Perhaps both? She had been spending time with Goewihg to develop their bond further intentionally after all. It would not do to have such a well trained creature in her stables and not have her be bonded to Runa.
Plus, Runa noted as she ran her eyes over Goewihg, the Pasha-Sarane was gorgeous and she suspected she would become even more awe-inspiring as she aged.

September Post #25 They had finally reached the damn door. Runa was limping badly now, she probably should consider getting a first aid kit. Goewihg had graciously allowed Runa to put a bit of her weight on her as they picked their way through the pumpkin patch. She should head home. She could come back when her knee felt better. And she had plans for Goewihg and she really should be in the proper training environment to work on them. And equipped with treats this time.
And her knee really was bothering her. She would need to check that out and potentially get it fixed up before she spent anymore time here. Maybe she'd come back with Gallant instead of Goewihg tomorrow. She hadn't spent a lot of quality time with the Gallor and she was missing him as a result. That would also probably make him happy. She had noticed that she seemed to be rather offended, almost or perhaps jealous of her spending time with Goewihg.
She opened the door quickly, making her way past the feast as fast as she could. Goodness but her knee was throbbing. She wished she had any healing skills at all but unfortunately she didn't.
Not yet anyway.
