Rusty was an unexpected variable. Rumor has it that he spent some time in Zoological Imports before ending up in my care. I would love to figure out what happened to him, but asking such specific questions could be dangerous. I know a limited amount of his biology. His parentage consists of an Orbaru and some sort of cat-like creature. He appears incapable of fighting, but has a carnivorous diet. As of this time, it's unclear if he eats anything other than fish. I have developed a strong attachment to Rusty. As far as creatures go, he is relatively easy to take care of. He might not be strong, but he provides me with a certain amount of emotional stability. Out of all the creatures in the world, he's the only one who understands what I've been through. (Though his understanding of such things is extremely limited.) Rusty is a very loving creature, but his love must be earned first. He adores other creatures, but can be mistrustful of people. As of now, he only allows me to pet him. His first and foremost priority is to have fun. He responds well to having a variety of new toys to play with. He dislikes being left alone. As I have spent more time with Rusty, it is evident that he is loyal to his very core. While he might be a bit dopey, he is also a very hard worker. Fish is a good motivator for training him. He also is a rather curious creature despite his low intelligence. He is always happy to accompany me to a new place.

Voxel was found in Eccentric's Mansion during the month of October. His body is completely ethereal, making him quite similar to a ghost. He first took interest in Rusty, playing with the halfbreed with a ball of ethereal string. Rusty didn't mind that it was impossible for him to catch the ethereal object. They became fast friends and Voxel was quick to warm up to me as well. His biology can be confusing at times. (Do ethereal creatures need to eat? And if so, what on earth do they eat?) His personality is that of a trickster. He enjoys games, but he enjoys pranks most of all. His intelligence can seem god-like when compared to Rusty's, but remains a notch below sentience. He seems rather sociable, but as of now, his true emotional connections remain me and Rusty.

Imogen was the only pet I owned before I got my scars. I hadn't owned her for long, perhaps a couple of weeks. She was payment for a case, but the details of such case appear to allude me for now. She was kept safe at my old apartment, finding food through mysterious means. (I assume my elderly neighbour fed her. Mrs. McKinley always did have a soft spot for baby pets.) Retrieving her had been a necessary risk. When I got to the building, I discovered it had been recently abandoned. Personality wise, Imogen can be rather snooty. She is a loner-type, preferring the company of herself to most others. Imogen is rather forgiving for being left alone in an apartment for an unknown amount of time. I assume this can be chalked up to her loner-type personality. Any other creature wouldn't be so easy to forgive. We had never really bonded before, but bonding efforts now have been going well. She seems to like me a lot more now than she ever did previously. *Perhaps that is correlated to my change in appearance.
