Murr hears the customer's shoes before they hear the customer speak, but once they did, they reached out to take the registration papers. Then they placed it in a machine that would transcribe it for them. "Yes, Breezy Daze Kennels, I am familiar." They say, cracking a super toothy grin. "Follow me." Their voice rumbled as they allowed Cocao to lead them to the back where the puppies were kenneled. Cocao is as astute as ever, and leads Murr straight to the puppies. The uthax placed their fingers on the bumps above the kennels and slid them, and then spoke. "Puppy C and Puppy F would be suitable for Breezy Daze." They said, as short of words as uthax tended to be. "Let me know when you make your selections." At their knees, Cocao watched cleverly, her russet eyes watching the puppies and the individual with the working-astuteness expected of a houluh with her job.

Fiera nodded politely as she entered the puppy room, with Cocoa trotting alongside her. It made sense to have a guard dog around here- she bet the black and tan houluh kept the puppies nice and calm during their stay here. Once she entered the kennel room however, she was immediately struck by the sight of one of the pups. It had an amazingly eye- catching appearance, white with a grey head and a spattering of spots. She knew the second she saw it that she just had to have it. She trotted over and checked the labelling on the kennel- pup C, from Natural and Wilholm. Ah, of course it was those two- they always produced fantastic puppies. Satisfied, she walked back out to Murr. "Excuse me!" She said politely, giving a little wave. "I'll take puppy C, if you don't mind." She said, and she sincerely hoped he didn't- she already had her heart quite set on it.
(Puppy C please!)

After the selection was made, Murr listens and nods. Cocao is asked with a hand wave to lead Murr to the puppy, and she does so, just about touching it with her nose as Murr scoops up the puppy. "Pup C, yes." At this, Cocoa leads Murr to the front, and the customer is lead there as well. The paperwork is transcribed, and Murr checks it over with their hand. "Pup C will go to Breezy Daze Kennels." They say, before selecting a basket and placing the puppy within it before turning it over. "Please let us know if you become unable to fulfill your obligations to Pup C." They say, giving a wave. Cocao sits near her master watchfully, with focus in her eyes.

Nadia hadn’t had the intention of returning to the adoption agency for a second puppy, but by the time she had even considered talking herself out of it, she found herself at the door to the building. There was so much charm in its quaint appearance that it made her smile immediately; anything that warmed her heart couldn’t possibly be bad! Of course, she could have just been suffering from puppy fever, but she didn’t care to argue semantics with her own internal monologue. The familiar sight of Murr was a relief. She didn’t want to have to acquaint herself with someone new to awkwardly explain that she’d adopted only a month prior. At least she could unleash her verbal avalanche on a recognisable being if it came to that. “Hello there... again,” Her sheepishness was evident in her tone, but it didn’t wash out how excited she was too. “I was here quite recently, but... may I see your puppies again?” Kennel Name: Bloomwood House Link to Character Sheet: NadiaLength of Time Since Adopting Last HAA Pup: 1 Month (21/2/2020) Link to the Last HAA Pup's Training Acceptance: Click!

Murr heard the customer come in and trained their face in that direction out of habit. "Yes, you are Nadia, of Bloomwood House." Murr was pretty pleased that someone with prior experience adopting a puppy was back. "You fulfilled your obligations to puppy A. Please, come with me." No needed paperwork at this moment, Murr already had the information for this kennel and owner, after all. Cocao leads Murr back with ease, having already asked them if they needed assistance, and Murr rubs their fingertips against the labels above the kennels. Puppy D, Puppy F, and Puppy G. "Take your pick." Murr says. Cocao watches with her soulful brown eyes, as the individual makes their selection.

"That's me!" Nadia sounded a little too delighted at being recognised by Murr. As such, her face flushed and she cleared her throat before she continued speaking, in a far more subdued tone. "Thank you. My apologies for that outburst, s- oh. May I ask your name?"
She was all too eager to follow them back to where the puppies were resting. Though they were all delightful as ever, one caught her eye within seconds. Red, like her. There wasn't a great deal of difference between her own hair colour and that of the pup's fur. She offered a nod to Cocao before stooping down in front of her chosen houluh, offering her hand to be sniffed.
This one was less enthusiastic than Hael had been, but no less adorable. Steadier on their feet, even in their young age - their snout was purposeful when it bumped against her hand to investigate. A pink nose. She was charmed beyond explanation.
"I think this one is my favourite," She said. "I would be delighted to take Pup G with me."

Murr actually has perfect memory, especially when it comes to verbal or tactile cues. They nodded, raising a large hand to them. "I am Murr." Names were quite important here in the labs- and it would seem that this particular Uthax wasn't much of a talker otherwise. However, that was about average for an Uthax. "Pup G." The Uthax repeated, and reached out, following Cocao's astute lead to pick up the selected puppy. This one was quite steady, Murr remembered. After picking up the puppy, the Uthax moves to the front counter, being lead by the ever dutiful Cocao to their chair. The paperwork is worked on quickly, the puppy is picked up and placed in the usual basket from beneath the counter. The process seems a little quicker, this time around. Murr's ability to keep up with information is impeccable.
"Pup G will go to Bloomwood House with Nadia. Please inform us if you become unable to fulfill the obligations to Pup G." At this, the puppy was handed over.

Kennel Name: Bustani ya hatari Link to Character Sheet: Flare Length of Time Since Adopting Last HAA Pup: N/A Link to the Last HAA Pup's Training Acceptance: N/A
The aftermath of the early spring storm found Flare with a multitude of problems. The forefront being that without something to do, his faithfully underfoot rakai did nothing else but follow him around. If he wasn't trying to coax the garden creatures to play with him, he'd toss a toy at the tumaian while he worked, and seek to play with him. This wasn't always possible, as he needed to restructure his tent... maybe even look into figuring out how else to handle the rainfall. What should he do? Shabh was the only carnivore he'd ever handled (and a sarane running wild in the pit didn't count; a distant memory). Would he do alright with having some sort of company? Then he remembered there was another sort of 'dog' creature that seemed to be catching on in popularity; he'd seen one or two. And there was this adoption hall. Doing his best to not look like a bedraggled gardener, Flare cleaned his poncho and pants best he could do, tied up his hair with a length of vine and found his way to this hall. He wanted a companion who could keep up with a rakai sarane and give him the companionship to not be lonely, or constantly attached at the hip.

Murr tilts their head up whenever the customer comes in, they can hear them. They raise a palm in greeting and then speak out. "Greetings. Please fill out these forms." They push one of the sheets of paper across the desk and then feel Cocao put her paw on their leg to ask if they need assistance. A quick pat on the paw clearly tells the well trained houluh 'not right now'. Murr did not recognize this individual yet, so it wasn't a returning individual. New adopter, perhaps? That was perfectly fine. So far, all of the adopted pups had went to excellent home!

Flare stopped dead in the doorway when he's spoken to. Not for the surprise of being noticed, but by the sheer... size of...uh. What was this creature? It spoke Common, and put a piece of paper and a quill in front of them. Didn't look directly at him, from what he could see. The gears inside the tumaian's brain turned rapidly; antlers, fur... if it wasn't the tusks, he might have interpreted the form giver as an enormous deer-creature. But those tusks threw that theory at the wall like a rotten turnip. And the fur was too long, bright and silvery. Were they elderly? Didn't sound it. But after what crap he'd been through, it took more then a big creature to spook him away. Straightening his posture, the humanish walked into the hall, his steps accented with the extra clunk of his staff-cane and the wooden foot on the tiles. Simple enough the form appeared to be; as he carefully scratched out his information with the quill. Over the table, he can see the floppy ears of a moderately sized but slim dog creature. The dog puts their paw on the creature's leg, and the other only pats once? Was this the kind of creature he was looking for? "I would like to adopuht a puh-uppy. One who can keepuh upuh with my rakai. He needs a playuhmate." he tells the creature.

Silver spent a lot of time in the contest hall lately, and they couldn't help but to notice the Houluh shows going on around them. It was no secret that they just adored puppies, so they decided to investigate. Apparently, there were a ton of rules for the shows, most of which they only skimmed. The most important takeaway was that they needed a puppy to start with, and adoptions were free down at the Adoption Agency. They just had to promise to take care of the pups, which was a no brainer for them. They were a professional, after all. How hard could a floppy eared puppy be?
When they got to the Adoption Agency, they instructed Quin to stay put on their shoulder and went inside. They waved as soon as they stepped in the door, then picked up one of the forms they needed to fill out. More forms. There were always more forms. They didn't mind, though, since they usually only had to write their name and address on them. For a while they kept it on a piece of paper in their pocket since they kept forgetting, but they were able to remember it now after writing it down so many times.
"Ah, hi," they said, shyly holding out the finished forms. "I'm hoping I can adopt a puppy." Of course they were. What else did people do here? "I've just registered and received my card, so I think I'm ready."

Flare;
Murr pauses for a moment. This was quite irregular- was that a cane? Yes, that was the clear tone of a cane, they would recognize it anywhere. They used to use one, of course it sounded quite a bit different than that. No, this person was putting their weight on the cane, Murr was sure of it through the sound. Not another blind individual, at least nothing to allude to that. Still, they could hear the customer write on the forms. After the forms are done, they place the forms into a machine for transcribing them into the script that was easier for them to read. At this, Cocao places her paw on Murr's leg again and this time she rose. "Yes, the puppies are back here." Murr said, waving over their shoulder for the customer to follow. Cocao leads them both to the back room where the puppies are in their unique kennels. "Please make your selection."
--
Silver;
Murr hears the customer come in and go for the forms that were always laid out for customers. Sometimes folks seemed to find them easier than others- but Murr was pleased that they were going to be able to bring them straight back to the puppies after this. "Congratulations." They replied, after the forms were done and the customer spoke to them. "Please come right this way." She said. Cocao could tell that Murr needed assistance when they started to stand up and turn around, so Cocao moved back, leading Murr back to the puppy room where all of the enclosures were for the puppies. Along the way there, Murr deposited the adoption forms into the machine that would transcribe the forms for them. Once in the back room, Murr placed a leathery palm on one of the puppies' designation plates. "Here you are. Please make your selections." Murr said, quietly.

The creature had a strange metal object that ate the paper and put it back out... with no words on it? How unusual. The dog leads them both, oddly, to the back of the place. It was large. Spacious even. With each pen set up with plenty of toys, play space, and a place to eat and drink. Five puppies were presently housed here, either resting or playing with their toys. Floppy ears, about the size of Shabh when he was younger, with a long tail. Two pups appeared to sport longer then normal fur. Labeled on their kennels by letter. One or two wake up with the sound of heavy footfalls of their caretaker, the clicking of nails of the older slim dog, and his own mismatched sounding feet and staff-cane. It really was a precaution while getting more used to his wooden limb, but his regular leg wasn't nearly as strong.
One of the curious pups rolled over when the sounds came close to them. Creamy fur with a brown mottling on their head, big hazel eyes blinked blurrily as it gave an enormous puppy yawn, needles of teeth exposed briefly before giving a bigggg stretch and shaking themselves a bit. This one had a bit longer hair, as they seem quite eager to come say hello. Flare, with a careful look at the two caretakers approached with mismatched footfalls. Allowing the pup to smell his fingers. The ears had a patterning to the fur that reminded him more of a mushroom. The pup sniffed him with interest, then licked his fingers, nuzzling at him. Smelled good. This pup... I was the letter. "I would like this puhuppy. I please." he tells the caretaker resolutely. [puppy i please] x.20

They followed Murr into the back room where the puppies were kept. Their heart rate was high and their eyes wide. They loved puppies so much! Was it really that easy? They hoped the vetting process was thorough, unlike the one at the labs. They always wanted creatures to go to good homes, especially puppies. That sweet Houluh with them wouldn't let any ruffians through, right?
There were so many puppies, and they were all so cute. Silver took a deep breath lest they make an undignified squeak. There were some white ones, some spotty ones, some brown ones and... a single grey puppy with an especially silky tail. They tilted their head at it, which stirred Quin into action. The Paogon floated down and landed next to the pup. He looked up at Silver and squawked cheerily. It was almost as if he was saying 'this one, this one!'
"Can't argue with that," Silver said. They were sure that any pup they got would be lovely, but they might as well go for the one that caught Quin's attention. Quin usually had a good eye for this kind of stuff, and weird as it was, they trusted him.
"I'll take this one, if that's alright?" they said with a smile in Murr's direction. "The tag says it's puppy J."

Flare;
The selection was made, and Cocao pointed Murr towards the pup that was selected. She quickly scoops up the wriggly little creature and then nods before being lead by Cocao out to the desk again. The papers now transcribed, Murr placed their fingers across the new paper. "Yes, Puppy I will go too Bustani ya Hatari." She said. She didn't recognize the language, but it was pretty obvious that it was a kennel name. They did the paperwork quickly, and had it transcribed. Then, they placed the puppy in a basket for the customer. "You must fulfill the training obligations to Puppy I, or it must be returned. Please inform us if you cannot fulfill your obligations to Puppy I." This was one of the silky furred ones, wasn't it? The puppy was then handed over to the new owner.

Silver;
Once the selection was made, Cocao pointed Murr's hand towards the selected puppy, and then Murr reached out to scoop up the tiny creature. At this, Cocao lead them out of the room and back to the front desk. Murr sits down, and has the papers transcribed, before reading them. Then, they filled out the new papers as well, to make sure that the records were properly taken. "Puppy J will go to Luminous City." Murr said, her voice almost a purr. "If you cannot fulfill training obligations for puppy J, please inform us." At this, the other silky puppy was placed into a basket, and then handed over to the customer. They were sure that the puppy would be well taken care of.
