At the very back of the drawer, in the shadowy corner of papers, is a small leather-bound book. Its appearance is plain, unmarked, unassuming. The first couple of pages are blank, the rest have an assortment of writing, even a few loose visual scribblings, as if trying to commit to memory something seen or observed. Most of it seems random enough - a sign, a style of clothing, vague mapping, some animals - but the most curious aspect seems to be the fact the writing part is in no known Pethian language.
Looks like reading its contents seems quite out of the question for most people, then.

Personas of Note:
The bookshop keepers - A set of twin mammalians, small ones. Very agile, very knowledgeable.
One has a fascination with the knight. Calm natures, sharp minds. ( Knows: the knight )
The armory keeper - A goddess-damned knight. Pleasant in demeanour, but careful with this one, he could figure it out if he tried hard enough.

Xentus - A pastel-toned mammalian with horns. Has a silver noodle-dragon. Amiable, helpful, calm. Speaks in third person. Does NOT take well to having their beasts messed with.
May or may not have an infatuation with the knight, but embarrassed about it (the Mansion trickery didn't help). "Kalenshaar", potentially a place of origins.

The supplies keeper - Quiet, polite, nothing too much of note. Painter.

The tailory keeper - A lady of refined tastes.

Lady Nadia - A finely-dressed woman. Nervous, sly and jestful. Nobility, but no longer landed. Resides on Miisaa Ave.
Strong suspicion of unhappy past with family. Deer-horned brooch with red gem (A crest?). Sends missives to the manor via hawk. Somewhat lightweight drinker.

The "Trader" - Mysterious, rumoured and seemingly mute. Unsure of their true motives or aspirations.
Or even what they are. Likes personal space, but gets excited at offerings. ( Knows: the knight, the courier )
The bait keeper - A goddess-damned dragon-blood. Amiable sort, shockingly. Friendly with a toothy grin. ( Knows: the courier )
Flare - A dragon-blood who is not (Best not ask, best not think too much on that). Desert-type folk. Helped train the pup some obedience. ( Knows: the courier )
The arcane trinkets trader - A human, with the sharpness of a shark. Has more going on than let on. Can play the game. Expects a returning customer. ( Knows: the courier )
Syd - A horned child, who speaks a language she really should be more mindful of. Loud, bold, reckless. Telepathic companion.
Can't tell if fled from the mainland or sent here with a purpose.. Need to keep en eye on this one. ( Knows: the courier )
