Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is 72 hours from this post. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 72 hours to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 72 hour deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

Well, the last run had gone pretty much as well as expected, but Dunkin had done a little damage from what she remembered. Shrugging to herself, she walked up into the stands and waited for Dunkin to come out. They were the first ones there, it seemed, and she couldn't do much from what she thought, but at least she was there to watch her unbroken, untrained Drake fight for a little while, though it had only really been to ensure the tournament had run after all. Pushing her hair back, she smiled a little and wondered what was going to happen with this fight, who would they face anyway? Ah well, it didn't matter at the moment, and the woman smiled a little and then watched as Dunkin exploded into the arena, mouth frothing and eyes raging red, though he was probably the only one who saw it. She heard him, of course, but chose not to listen, just in case, for her own sanity.

Ashe arrived shortly after; he let the Pit staff shuttle the unbroken drake into the arena while he went to the stands to watch. The last match had gone as planned; as soon as Ashe had seen the large dappled Drake, he knew Sushi didn't stand a chance. One hit and he was knocked out, though Ashe would like to note it hadn't even been an elemental attack, or anything elaborate. The bigger drake had just bashed into him and knocked him right out, one blow. Hadn't killed him, thank goodness, or else Sushi might have been withdrawn and fed early on. Weak enough to be taken out so easily...
As he looked over the pit, at first he thought Sushi had already been released, but then the doors opened and a second Brown sarane rushed in, jaws snapping, wings flapping. Ah, there was Sushi. This must be his opponent! Quite similar in appearance. Too late, he saw Jack on the other side of the arena. He lifted a hand in greeting.

Jack smiled and waved across the arena at Ashe. So he'd entered a normal Brown as well, huh? Well, it only made sense, she figured, they had both won several tournaments and things were going well for them both. Settling back a little, she yawned as she watched her Drake (she thought it was her Drake) circle the other one. It would be hard to cheer for hers, not that she really would, when she couldn't pick him out of a lineup of any other Brown. Sure some of them were a little scarred, but that was about it. Pushing her hair back, she hoped that this would go rather well after awhile. If she was lucky this would end pretty quickly, no matter which one won, not like she really cared. Smiling a bit, she just hoped she wasn't going to yawn too much, putting a Brown in was pretty boring after awhile.

Ashe was surprised Jack wasn't entering one of her more well trained sarane. He knew it wasn't for lack of something besides brown, she had a ton of drakes, and hens if she felt like using a higher tier, more aggressive female. But here she was, with the other brown sarane... wait a minute. A glint caught Ashe's eve and he spotted something on the other brown. It was one of those amulet things, something he personally used to help boost his pet's speed. He didn't have one on Sushi because, well, he was a brown. And not a fighter. Leave it to Jack to have an ace up her sleeve.
The drakes circled each other, taking turns posturing. The tension was building, Ashe could feel it even up here in the stands. Any minute now, one would attack and the battle would begin. And then it would be over, as most battles didn't last too long without skill behind it.

Calculations
Dunkin uses Fly! Dunkin's Dexterity is now 10
Sushi uses Gash! Sushi's Dexterity of 4 + 8 = 12 vs. the 10 Dexterity of Dunkin Sushi will deal the most damage possible! Sushi's Strength of 7 + 4 damage of Gash = 11 damage 11 - 5 Resistance of Dunkin = 6 Dunkin's Stamina is now 1

Oof, Jack thought as she watched the other Drake (she assumed since he didn't have a trinket on him) tear into Dunkin with his claws. Well then, that would probably be it, she didn't think Dunkin could come back from that, even though he was still flying. He gushed blood onto the sands of the Pit but kept flying unsteadily and roared his defiance, though not a proper roar at that, there would be no fear cast into the heart of the other Sarane at this point, which was fine. The only way they could possibly win was if the other Drake either missed or started to fly as well, though she didn't think that was going to happen. Oh well, that was fine at the same time, and the woman gave a little shrug before smiling over at where she knew Ashe was sitting. Things couldn't be much better right now, and that was perfectly fine.

Sushi saw the other drake start to flap his wings and he was filled with such an intense rage. How dare he try to get away from their fight! How dare he r ake to the sky like that! Sushi made a split second decision to attack and he lunged with everything he had, reaching out with claws and teeth, whatever he could use to grab him and drag him back down. And, by some miracle, he managed to grab a hold of him! With claws. They sunk into flesh, dragging great rips down the thigh of his opponent. It didn't stop him from flying away, though the upward motion seemed to have made the wound worse, visibly, since they went in opposite directions. But he flew on, weight off the injured limb. Sushi prowler around to the side, neck craned to keep an eye on him, make sure he didnt do anything sneaky. Ashe's eyes were on the drakes, darting from one to the other, watching as blood dripped onto the sand.

Calculations
Dunkin uses Gash! Dunkin's Dexterity of 10 + 6 rolled by staff = 16 vs. the 4 Dexterity of Sushi Dunkin will deal the most damage possible! Dunkin's Strength of 7 + 4 damage of Gash = 11 damage 11 - 5 Resistance of Sushi = 6 Sushi's Stamina is now 1
Sushi uses Bite! Staff rolls a 10, Sushi's attack automatically hits! Sushi's Strength of 7 + 3 damage of Bite = 10 damage 10 - 5 Resistance of Dunkin = 5 Dunkin's Stamina is now -4
Try as he might to get out of the way, Dunkin goes down with a sickening thud out of the air, the Pit crew rush out to the severely wounded Drakes.
Rewards Sushi gets 2 levels and Ashe gets 5 pit prize points Dunkin gets 1 level and Jack gets 3 pit prize points
