Suggestion: "Palette Potion" for all free breedables? (A!)

I'd like to propose the following:
A potion that lets you design, or at least select the color palette for, a single baby in a breeding for the site breedables (ie Pachee, Orbaru, Draconics, Sarane, dunno if I'm forgetting anything else here but you get the gist)
With the following caveats:
- recolor only, no (new) markings that the parents don't already have
- all the colors have to come from one or the other parent, so the potion isn't just a free pass for a random rainbow baby
Reasoning:
There's already something vaguely similar in the Contest Hall prize shop, but it's Orbaru only, and I honestly think a "palette potion" for use on an in-progress breeding, for a wider variety of breedable species, would be useful for a few reasons:
1. Wider species range to encompass stat-focused breedables: With Orbaru, people are almost always breeding for looks, maybe for breed, but stats don't really come into play when picking parents. Draconics and Sarane are more likely to be bred for other reasons (ie breath, tail type, moves/abilities, stats), which sometimes lead to... difficult pairings that can be hard to make kids for, where the end result is also a little more high-stakes.
I know I've done pairings where I've felt bad about throwing them at the breeding artists, but I didn't really have better options based on what I wanted out of the kids statistically vs what I had to work with.
A palette potion is, I'm hoping, a good compromise for that kind of problem. This way, we can get one baby whose colors are what we're looking for from pairings that might be tricky.
2. Takes a little onus off the breeding artists: I think this one is fairly self explanatory, but having done a few litters here and there myself on Evelon, I'm not unfamiliar with the general process. Sometimes it's hard to make babies, or you don't feel particularly inspired, especially if you have no idea what to do with the parents or what the breeders were going for. A palette kid takes some of the thinking out of at least one baby on the breeding, right?
The item exists on Evelon, and the Evelon userbase have all been really happy with/supportive of it from the time it was launched. The Evelon version is built on the fact that users have access to flat color PSDs of the breedables, but I understand if that particular aspect isn't something we can do here. But even a color palette, with maybe suggestions as to "main body colors" and "accent colors", would be a nice option to have IMO.
It could be a Nature's Bounty item, or a Contest Hall prize or something, I don't really know - I think it would be nice to have it as something relatively affordable and easy to access, since it doesn't confer any gameplay advantages (ie better stats, more loot yield), just better odds at a baby in line with the breeder's aesthetics preferences. And if you're breeding for a specific result, I think this saves time and effort for everyone involved.
