Simple enough suggestion- it would be cool if we could use TRODs in pet breedings as a secondary idk 'caretaker' for breedings that might require two separate accounts to post with. I'll lay my reasoning out below, but basically I figure that any type of breeding where you can 'lend' a pet to a secondary account, wouldn't it be the same amount of work to just use a TROD?
Possible types of breedings you could use this for:
Conditions
Pros
Cons
Possible types of breedings you could use this for:
- 3 male pachee breedings
- Draconic breedings
- Houluh Breedings
- Others if you want more work? Orbaru, wild breedings, serum breedings, ect.
Conditions
- Your TROD is only useable in one thread at a time. This still applies here. While in a breeding thread, it may not be used in other threads or in shops.
- Any restrictions that extend to lending pets out to secondary accounts or other players applies. You could also make conditions such as only being allowed to use it once a month per species, or whatever other restrictions there might be already. I remember hearing about some restrictions for lending out pets but I can't find them.
- Additional note to the above: you can fulfill the restrictions with a secondary account OR a TROD, not both.
- Each post must be treated as if it's made by separate characters. For example, if you have 2 male pachee and 1 female played by your player character, they can ONLY roleplay those pets and react to the TROD's assigned pachee. You TROD may only RP the pets it is assigned, too.
- Additional note: any pets the TROD is playing still only gain levels, not loyalty to you or the TROD.
Pros
- Gives more function to TRODs other than just buying stuff in the shops and training other people's pets
- Don't gotta buy a secondary account and make a whole new character just to do a self breeding
- Don't gotta pester your friends just to do a self breeding where they borrow one of your pets for you
Cons
- You tell me? I'd say 'people will play by themselves instead of other players' but people already do that with their secondary accounts so I don't think it applies.
