It wasn't as though she thought to enter a salonne with such an unmannered houluh, especially how different of caliber they felt than other shows. How much could an unknown kennel's name be tarnished by bringing in an unruly, borderline neurotic dog to a show? They'd have to find out! It wasn't a matter of showing off this time, but more that Gold needed to get out and do something novel. She was downright destructive when she was bored, and lately, she'd been bored. Exposure to crowds and activity couldn't ever be a bad thing, especially when Gold seemed bothered by so little. Though the houluh had been groomed to gleaming just before leaving to ensure she didn't have time to muss it up in the pasture, Gold still took it upon herself to give herself a last 'sprinkling' of the dirt road. The red dirt dulled and stood out on her shining blue-black coat, and Lethalia was still trying to brush the last of it out just outside of the show hall. With all of the attention, God was happy to oblige with a happily thumping tail and a nose to the air to take in all the activity. This smelled a lot like other houluh; awesome!

Aubrey didn't really expect to find himself at another Houluh Salonne so soon, but Loki had gotten restless right around the time that news first began circulating about it, and Aubrey had taught him a couple of fighting moves in hopes that it would work off his excess energy... And then it had been a matter of, why not? It wasn't like there was a fee to register. Aubrey might have felt out of place, but Loki walked into the building like he owned it, paying no one any mind and stopping at the sign-up desk with a decidedly businesslike mien. Aubrey smiled a little awkwardly at the staff and fumbled his way through yet more paperwork; there was, he was learning, a lot of paperwork involved when it came to Houluh. But, well, if Loki thought it would go well, then maybe it would. Lyra had done alright, hadn't she?

So another Salonne was going, right? Well, might as well enter one of her Houluh again, if only for the point needed to get more stuff from the Contest Hall. Jack chuckled a little to herself as she walked with Snow to the Contest Hall, wondering if they would even place. She hadn't placed with Arvest the Salonne before, but that was alright, she really hadn't expected to anyway, she was just happy he'd gotten a little experience from the whole thing. As they entered the Hall, she filled out the form and handed it over before standing with the rest of the people who had entered, wondering what they were up against. A Strength Salonne... it would be interesting, and she knew that Snow was rather aggressive for a Houluh, so maybe he had a shot, she really didn't know at this point. Whatever, this would be fine in the long run, she knew, as she rested a hand on Snow's head.

Well, there was another salone going on and, with all of the houluh he'd trained already, Kadin couldn't think of a good reason not to enter this one, too. What's more, the salonne seemed to be able to strength and he had one houluh in particular that had been trained in just that! So Kadin headed over to the contest hall, finding the desk for registering his pets easier each time he showed up. He quickly filled out the forms and handed them over, Cookie impatient where she was waiting for him. He'd won the last salonne he'd entered, but that didn't necessarily mean that he'd win this one, too. Still, it wouldn't hurt to only enter. He handed over the forms with a nod and headed out, ready to wait and see what the actual day of would bring. Would he win again? Unlikely. But it wouldn't hurt to try to place, at least.

Nadia hadn't been back to the contest hall for a while, on account of her previous failings. It had been nothing catastrophic - they hadn't been thrown out or disqualified, god forbid - but life had gotten in the way, and she had missed the show ring of her last salonne. This time, she was adamant that no such thing would happen. Indie had been groomed extensively that morning in preparation, with a sweet-smelling shampoo giving her fur a glossy shine, and was quite tired of seeing Nadia's comb. Even so, it descended on her once again. It may be a strength salonne, but it was no excuse to not look their best! She offered a soft greeting to the staff and set about signing them up, well accustomed to the hall's paperwork. It looked like there were plenty of other participants! The thought was exciting, but nervewracking, because there were more unfamiliar faces than not.
