You can have a "pet" AS a CHARACTER!
To Obtain a Pet Character
1. You must purchase a secondary account for the Pet-Character in Question.
2. You must actually own the creature in question (though your character may or may not) before you create the account.
3. The pet you wish to make into a character must have the ability 'Speak' or 'Telepathy', and intelligence of 'Sentient' or higher. (A ribbon of telepathy does not count, but a collar of speech does, given the creature's sentient.)
Rules for Pet Characters
Pet characters count as characters and follow exactly the same rules as characters except for what is listed below.
1. Pet characters are reverted to level 0 when they are made into their own character, though they still keep their loyalty to your character, if any. A pet character gains levels just like any other Character (one per ten posts) and the same bonus for the Plot Area (one per five posts) applies.
2. Pet characters can use their levels (training points) to buy moves, tricks, or abilities normally available to a creature of it's kind. They may also buy any character skill that makes sense for their anatomy. Pet characters automatically 'know' the moves and abilities in their basic stats. Pet characters do not have skill groups, attributes, or traits.
3. They cannot bond with with a Draconic, but they can have as many Draconics as they want.
4. Pet characters cannot enter themselves in tournaments, but they may enter their pets. They fight like a pet of their species, not using the player combat system.
5. Pet characters may use any items intended for pets that are usable for a normal creature of their kind. They may also use a limited range of items available to characters that will "fit" their non-human body shape.
Language Notes
'Telepathy' is considered it's own, 'universal language' that all language speaking people can understand.
A pet can communicate decently with its own species, though such communication is always limited, especially if the creature's species is not usually sentient.
