Silver often found themselves drawn to Curious Collections, as though driven there by some unknowable force. Perhaps it was just some combination of boredom and curiosity, though they did often wonder if there wasn't something more to it. What, if anything, did the Trader even want everyone's spare junk for, anyway? It never made much sense to them, but they were there all the time poking away at strange piles of things regardless. Perhaps it was simple, and Trader had the same goal as them - to find something nice to take home.
Quin was ten times as curious as Silver, which made this one of his very favorite places in the whole world. There were so many things to chase, so many creatures to annoy, so many shiny things that thankfully wouldn't fit in his mouth. He bounced from pile to pile, pawing at one thing, then another. Eventually, he found a tiny red friend. Yes. This is what he wanted. He squawked to call Silver over and proudly presented his find.
"Alright then," Silver cooed, picking up the little creature. They had found one they liked, too, a little thing that reminded them of Quasar. As they approached the counter, they felt a humming in their soul. A crystal. They had come to know the feeling well. This one felt disquieting, as if it was asking them to run away. Why, then, did they pick it up and add it to the table?
"Ah, hello, ah, again, I'd like to trade, ah, for this... this stuff."
