A little plastic card. That is what the Questing Inquisitor had given me upon the successful completion of my first quest. It felt impossibly light in my claws, like it could not possibly be worth anything. I was told I could exchange it for real, tangible goods, which sounded like more than a fair deal to me. It felt like a very odd way to contain value, but then again, many things the people did seemed strange to me.
The shop itself contained many mundane things, but there were also a handful of magical trinkets. I rubbed the card in my claws again. I doubted I had enough for more than one, so I would have to choose carefully. I could tell already that I would be spending a lot of time here. Though that would require the completion of more requests from the quest board. How I loathed acting as a petty courier or hired muscle for some obnoxious person with more coin than sense.
"Greetings. I would like to purchase this," I said, gently setting a charm and my card on the table.

Jolyne almost had an issue with the customer when she walked in. As it stood, peoples' pets didn't react well to her- not that she cared, but apparently it was an issue sometimes. The tat-lung didn't seem to respond to her strangeness though, and as it turned around a few times, she caught sight of a collar of speech around its neck. Ah, it was one of those. She settled back down as Star slid her card and a luck charm across the counter. "Nice. These are pretty popular. Best of luck with it." She said, her voice flat but not unfriendly.
