Morgan breathed out, and squatted a bit too look the little colt right in his pale blue eyes. "Hey boyo, how are you doing?" Morgan held the lead a bit loose, so that he could roll around more comfortably. "Aren't you a gorgeous critter? Yes, such a pretty little beastie. You've got a pretty white marking on your face, it's adorable." Morgan was just yapping at him now, attempting to get the creature used to their voice more so now than it had been before. "You're rolling in that wet grass, aren't you? Yeah boyo, that's gonna make you wet on your coat and you have really thin hair, so you're gonna be all wet to the bone... Uh-huh, and you're gonna get sick, why don't we get up?" Morgan babbled out, voice crooning to make sure that it sounded nonthreatening to the leggy colt.

Morgan was quiet for a moment as they thought. They had plans in the future for a nice little line of trick equillion, and of course it was going to take a long time to train the line; Morgan didn't want to mess up and breed a long line of equillion without training any of them, of course. They had chosen these two based off of that desire; Glim had a good background of trained parents, and of course the female they had bought, Impi, was from a nice long line of parents too. Morgan was pleased with them, though they were not meant to be each other's mates of course. Morgan didn't mind linebreeding, but did mind doing it so quickly. They would have to see how things were turned out eventually. "Yes, you are a good one. Very stately." Morgan said, pulling a little baggie out of their labcoat pocket that had apple slices in it.

At that, Glim certainly leaned up a bit from his reclined position, moving over to his belly now. He places all four hooves underneath him, but doesn't quite stand up yet. Morgan watched him curiously, wondering if he was going to behave from here on out. Morgan was so ready to get them started towards getting out of there, but they didn't want to give him too many of these. Morgan wasn't going to give in to his little demands at all since they were really not keen on making him into a little tyrant that figured that he could have anything if he only didn't act right (a bad thing to get him started on, like any stubborn creature). "Yeah, you see them apples, right?" Morgan said, waving the little pink slices around within the bag. Though Glim didn't make any noise, his eyes did follow the apples.

Morgan could almost have chuckled, if it wasn't so cold. It was getting very cold, and Morgan really didn't want to be hunkered down in the cold grass for entirely too long. They needed to be getting home soon, Morgan had not been expecting them to be out here basically fighting to go all of three steps. It was frustrating, as far as Morgan was concerned, but they could already tell that at least a little bit of work had stuck here, this was good. This meant that they really just needed to work on Impi whenever Morgan came into possession of her. It shouldn't be too many days now. Maybe she would do better out here in the mansion grounds than Glim had? She had been an old lady for a long time, which may make for better confidence, or maybe worsened. Morgan wasn't sure, they hadn't worked with a lot of anti-growthd creatures before.

However, Morgan was willing to give it a good shot, and that was what really mattered to them. They didn't mind at all if it took more time to work with them than other creatures, and they were willing to spend the time. Morgan had a ton of other creatures to work with too, which was almost too much, but they were anything if not tenacious. "Yeah, good boyo. We're gonna leave really soon, okay? We need to get home and get you cleaned and toweled off and somewhere warm. It's too cold for wet little colts right now." Morgan said, nodding to him. "Ain't that right, boyo?" Morgan said, quietly. Glim of course made no noise in return, and instead kept his eyes entirely on those apple slices, all pink and pale in the bag. These were really small applies, but man Glim seemed to love them.

Morgan didn't mind buying specialty things for their creatures like these pink apples that seemed to be preferred by this lineage of equillion, at least. "Such a good boyo, yeah, you wanna get up, don't you? Up out of that wet grass, come on Glim." Morgan said, gently trying to lead him up using the lead in a firm hand, while also shaking the apple slices in the baggie. Glim watches the apples, and as they are lifted by Morgan, who was standing up, Glim rose up with them, his eyes practically glued to them. "Yeah, such a good one." Morgan said. "Good boyo." They kept their voice calm and level, hoping to high goodness that the creature would continue being as gentle as he was right now. Morgan couldn't help but chuckle under their breath at that- "Fat chance" Was all they could come up with for that.

Glim was anything if not a little surprising. Morgan wasn't at all surprised when he jumped to his legs with a strange half-buck, almost like a rabbit's binky instead of anything they'd ever seen an equine-like beast do before. Morgan watched this strange activity for only a moment before trying to still him with the lead. It didn't work all that well, since he pulled away from the front-face pressure. Morgan frowned, but then shook the apple slices in the baggie again, and of course Glim glanced up much better now, though of course at the apples again. "You're an excitable boyo, aren't you?" Morgan asked him, trying to keep their patience. Now to try to get him to the gate... Morgan knew that it was going to be an uphill battle both ways, and they were not looking forward to it, no matter how well it COULD go if this fella actually acted right.

Well, that only meant one thing. If Glim was already excitable and such, then he probably would benefit highly from lots more exercise that what he had gotten in the past. Morgan wasn't sure where he had been kept previously, but he probably wasn't allowed to run around with Shy Guy in his pen, since that was a HUGE MONSTER of an equillion for sure. Little Glim might get hurt by accident, or heck, maybe on purpose. Morgan didn't know how most stallions were around foals, even if they were theirs. Could they even smell that the critters were theirs? Morgan had no idea, and hadn't raised them before. Keeping them separate was probably a good idea if they were opposite gendered, or heck, for stallions even same gendered might be a bad idea. Morgan would have to think about this stuff later on if the did what they thought they were going to.

For now though, Morgan just had to figure out how to get the young colt back home. He hadn't been too bad on the way here, but it seemed like as soon as they got here that he was just ANGRY for some reason. Morgan would have to put that down as something odd that the mansion seemed to have caused again, at the very least. Morgan had to start collecting even information that didn't seem like it fit in with the rest of the information Morgan had grabbed from the first few trips to the mansion since it was now growing more and more apparent to the bespectacled human that maybe, just maybe, there was some kind of sentience at the very least living within the mansion, and maybe even it WAS The mansion. That was a huge and concerning prospect that Morgan had to both consider and prepare for, just in case.

For now, however, it was getting Dark. And Morgan did NOT want to be here in the mansion grounds during Vai Min Mur while it was Dark. Maybe Morgan would come out here when it was dark later on in the month, but it was not going to be with the less trained creatures. It would DEFINITELY be with Nico. Nico would probably act the best during the nighttime. Naw, Glim was going to be a big ole mess for a while at least, from what Morgan could tell, so they were going to have to avoid bringing him out here when he could get hurt. However, Nico wasn't really needing an outing quite yet. No, Morgan would need to take Impi for an outing as soon as they managed to get her, to really cement that bond. She'd been alive for a long time, after all, having been old for all this time.

Morgan couldn't imagine that! Of course, customs and offspring didn't pass, like their regular LE and normal counterparts. V1 Equillion as a whole had been deceased for a long time, but the customs and offspring (and some VSC) were decidedly not. "Good boyo Glim, this way." Morgan said as they backed up. Naw, Equillion were definitely not all extinct, though they had perhaps meant to have been. There were enough customs and offspring to overflow the Labs, it was obvious. The bespectacled human managed to back their back up to the cast iron gate, and begin to push it open so that the creature could get through. "Nice and easy, that's it boyo. Good Glim." Morgan said. With any luck, now that they were out of the gate, they would be able to get home without any issues. Morgan grabbed as many interesting things around them as they could before going.

Morgan came back the next evening, excitedly. Nico was practically galloping behind them, at the heel, ready to go on an adventure! Morgan and Nico had just been out at the park training earlier that day, and the little canine had his first swimming lesson. All was good, and Morgan was feeling more energized than they had in a long while. With any luck, Morgan thought, they should be able to go on a proper, real adventure! Morgan had taken the youngest tats out this month, and of course Glim, but because they were all so young, Morgan hadn't spent long out here. In fact, Morgan was convinced that the mansion's frightening issues this month had caused Kirbie's egg to hatch a little early. He was definitely smaller than the other tats had been when they hatched. He was doing fine though, so surely they were going to be alright?

Morgan did worry sometimes, because it really seemed like they couldn't do anything right. The only thing they felt like they hadn't been able to screw up somehow was indeed Nico. There was just something about him that made him resistant to Morgan's accidental screw ups, or at least they were convinced of it at least metaphorically. Morgan felt a bit giddy as they hung on to the cast iron gates. The front gate was resistant to being pushed on and creaked as it opened, but it wasn't near as bad as the issue they had whenever Kirbie had been with them this last time. Morgan was convinced that the mansion wasn't actually 'upset' today, if that even made sense. Morgan wasn't convinced that the mansion was 'alive' or something, but they were indeed pretty sure that something was going on here that Morgan wasn't really sure of yet. Nico didn't seem perturbed, though.

Holding the gate open with one arm now that it was 'open', Morgan looked over at the houluh, and then smiled at him, or smirked more like it. Morgan's eye glasses were pushed up with a single finger, and then Morgan nodded. "Well, boyo, I'm ready if you are!" Morgan said, and the houluh seemed excited. There was no way that the houluh understood what Morgan was thinking or speaking about, but he sometimes seemed to be able to read Morgan's body language or something a lot more easy than Morgan had even thought was possible. The human wasn't at all sure, but it seemed like he had taken to them incredibly well at the very least. "Alrighty, after you then." Morgan said, and just the playful dip of their head was enough to tip Nico off that he could indeed walk beyond Morgan's heel at the moment.
