"LET'S HELP!"
The mammalian was stoked. She was in her upswing, and in a very bad manic spell. When she seen the posting to train somebody's pet, she had to jump on it. She had an electric type Lamadidron, and she was excited to try training a different type. It was a simple creature, and fairly large. Not very many manners, but she wasn't exactly the queen of manners at the moment. She had tugged the chain, and grabbed a bag of gems that the creature might eat. Treats. She had raced most of the way here, the creature growling and whining behind her. She slammed the gate shut, sending creatures flying up from the tall grass. Luckily she had left her other pets at home, as she couldn't be all that effective with even training one. Her brain was not in a good place for training, and there was a large possibility that she was not going to succeed at training right now. But hey, it wasn't her pet and so what if she didn't do a great job training. She was going to enjoy it and have fun.
She had found a large lamp post, with tall grass growing around it. She tied the chain around the post (probably overdoing it,) and threw herself into the grass. The Lamadidron stared at her, curled into the grass himself. He was exhausted from the race here, and relaxing in the grass was ideal for him. The bag of treats she had snagged lay open on the grass, and he began to help himself to the contents. This was easier than it looked.

The snow leopard lay on her back, sprawled out and soaking up the enjoyment of the cool grass. It was long, but mostly well maintained. The grass here was thick, and she was able to sink into it without much care in the world. The creature had a thick moss growing on its stones, and was 'fuzzy' for the mammalian to enjoy. It blended in early to the grass, and had very little issue finding stones kicking around that it would eat.
"Isn't this great? The sun is high in the sky, there's a slight breeze that keeps things incredibly comfortable. The grass is green and oh so fresh. We should be so lucky to have such an incredible day just laid out ahead of us. I couldn't imagine not having a chance to live in such a beautiful world. We have to thank our creator for something like this. And to have a chance to be so in touch with ourselves. Don't even get me started on the different lifeforms..."
The mammalian dragged on in her insanity, her speech garbled and making little sense. She jumped from topic to topic, everything vaguely related to the next. Her speech had little purpose. Her brain was not in a great spot when it came to focusing on one thing, and if anyone was to look at her they would have been sure she was on some sort of drug. Ecstasy or cocaine certainly, but it was just her brain working incorrectly. The Lamadidron stretched out its front claws, and rested its head on the front of them. Not only had he been picked up by a stranger, she had raced with him to the park and now collapsed into the grass. This was quite an odd person.

He was supposed to be here to work on his manners, but that was the last thing on the mammalian's mind. A small butterfly landed on a blade of grass, and the mammalian was quickly fixated. What. Was. That. She moved quickly to catch it, but the bug was agile and easily could escape her grasp. That didn't mean anything to her of course, as she was determined to capture it. It could be a great training tool. She was up on all fours as the butterfly landed on a shrub a few feet away from her. She lept forward, clumsily knocking into the bush and sending it soaring once again. The butterfly did not see the mammalian as much of a threat, and easily escaped her reach once more. She began to run around the park, dancing and jumping into the air. She stretched her arms out, hoping to catch the small critter as it fluttered around. She wasn't interested in stalking and creeping up on it, instead she thought her strength and quick movement would work for her. Of course, it didn't.
The Lamadidron stretched out and watched the show unfold in front of him. This was much better than whatever his owner had planned for him. Being tied up on the gate post and taken to train wasn't ideal, but apparently it was necessary. How he was supposed to be learning right now, well apparently that didn't matter. The goal was capturing the butterfly.

This went on for another ten minutes, before finally the butterfly went into a treed area and disappeared from the mammalian. She slumped back on the grass next to the resting Lamadidron, who barely seemed to notice her return.
"You should have seen how close I was little dude. I was basically right there. So many times I almost had it in my fingers, and it was just barely escape. Capturing that bug would have helped so much for us in this boring training. Training is sooooo boring. I definitely understand why you don't want to do it. There's so many things that I don't want to do. I guess thats why I just don't do it. You can thank our creator for giving us the ability to make choices. Making choices can be so tough..."
Again she dragged on. Each sentence having a small amount to do with the last, but in whole her conversation never really making much sense. It certainly didn't matter. The Stonemoss couldn't understand common, and there was nobody else around. So instead, the mammalian just spoke to herself.
"And so I guess that's why it's my favourite food." She stopped speaking and turned to the Lamadidron, who had finished most of the treats he had wanted. There was a large variety of stones in the bag, and most were not of interest to him. He could get used to this training thing.

The mammalian had some odd views on how she should have to train. It wasn't as though she had never trained before. Gentle had done so much training, and had left notebooks full of training information. She had also taught Tail Strike before, but apparently it didn't really matter because her current state wasn't supportive of effective training. Amelia searched the grass and the trees bordering the park. She pulled out a dead tree. It had fallen quite some time ago, and the rain had eaten up most of the inside.
"Can you believe how nice fresh rain smells? Even this old log, I can just feel the life inside of it." The mammalian chimed excitedly as she dragged the log towards the lamp post. She threw it against the ground with a loud exclamation, and put her hands against her hips to admire her handy work. "Gosh darnit that is going to work so darn well." She was pleased with herself, for having found such an incredible gift that nature had left for her. The Lamadidron took a sniff at it, then pulled back again. His long tail wrapped loosely around his body, resting comfortably on the grass and cool ground underneath him.
"So Mr. Stonemoss," (she had never actually caught his name,) "let's get started on this training. I want you to throw your tail against the log."
Again, without knowledge of the Common language, the creature stared at her blankly.

That stonemoss is looking pretty confused! One of the other creature tamers walks by, glances for a moment, and then moves on, leading their teenage drake on an approved chain.

Well, turns out there were other people here. It wasn't like the mammalian had noticed. Turns out there were quite a few pets that needed to be trained, and the mammalian was far from the only person who was helping out. It wasn't exactly going well, but again, she wasn't really trying. The Stonemoss looked at her confused, waiting for her to actually do something useful. She was pointing at this old log and speaking aimlessly, and he waited for her to do something that he wanted to participate in.
She went to grab his tail, and he quickly got defensive. He hissed at her, snapping his jaws and moving his body away from her. The snow leopard stood back, unsure of the reaction from the pet. Had she been in a normal state, she would've understood that was the wrong approach. In her manic state, she thought she just had to try harder. She reached around the other side, this time succeeding in grabbing the creature's tail. She threw it against the log wholeheartedly, spooking the stone moss. "TAIL STRIKE!" She laughed as the stone creatures tail sloughed off some of the log. "See!! You're doing it. I knew this wasn't going to be that hard. You're a rockstar."
The Lamadidron took a few steps backwards, curling further into the lamppost. This didn't seem like a lot of fun, and he wasn't sure what her goal was. Whatever it was, she wasn't doing very well.

Try as she might, Amelia was really not on the right path with this training. The overexcitement from the mammalian was not pushing the gem creature in the right direction, and he wasn't necessarily eager for whatever it was they were doing. The snow leopard grabbing his tail again, and threw it against the log. "TAIL STRIKE!" She cackled afterwards, and the Lamididron watched the wet log slough off more bark. He pulled his tail back, and watched the woman cautiously. Whatever she was trying to do, she was actually doing it wrong. He walked to the other side of the lamppost, his lead long enough to give him some room to move around. Luckily for him, the mammalian had found a small bug crawling in the grass. That was her new focus, and she was on her four legs, (some may say hands and knees,) and crawling slowly after the creature. It was moving through the blades of grass with ease, and its movements had little to do with anything else. The bug stopped, then crawled into a hole underneath a small rock.
"NO!!" The mammalian lept to her hind legs, crying out aggressively. This was just terrible, now what was she supposed to do with her new prized possession gone? The Stonemoss looked at her, unsure of what the hell he had gotten thrown into.

The snow leopard was still in a bit of a distress, and the stone moss decided to occupy itself in other ways. It crept towards the old log, sniffing at the damp bark. What exactly was she expecting him to do with this? He looked at his tail, and back at the log. She had taken his tail and slammed it against the log against his will, he didn't really like that. He lifted his tail, and placed it on top of the log. Not with force, but going through some of the motions she had been doing. He lifted it again, and dropped it a little harder. This time a small piece of wood chipped off. Hmm. He stood back, coiling up in defence. He sniffed at the piece of wood, before taking it in his mouth and chewing at it. Hmm. No. He didn't like this taste. He dropped it and wandered towards the mammalian's bag she had brought. Of course, she had forgotten it by now, but now he was interested. Plus, she had stones hidden in there.
Amelia went for a run. She was quick, and her pelt helped streamline her as she moved. She had so much energy, and she had to find another prize. That bug, it was just so marvellous. She could really feel a connection with the small critter, now she was just at a loss.

Part of the reason the Lamididron was getting trained was his problems with chewing on furniture. He liked to bite at things, and it was a habit he hadn't broken as he had gotten older. So that was the purpose of the mammalian bringing him, was so that he would stop chewing. Yet, she was nowhere around to intervene. He grabbed one of the straps, pulling the fabric into his mouth. This was more like what he enjoyed, and what he was so terrible with. He chewed at the side of it, munching away excitedly. Whatever it was, it was tasty. He was in no rush, he had nobody here to tell him he was being bad. And plus, did it really matter if they did?
Amelia was at the edge of some bush, and she was pulling apart the ground in search. What was she looking for exactly? The mammalian didn't really know the direction she was going in. She uncovered a small beetle when she lifted a stone, but it quickly scurried away into a nook underneath a root. "Why are you leaving me!! You don't even know me and you already hate me. I hate you!" She yelled nonsense towards the beetle, who at this point was long gone. Her training was not exactly going well.
