Renathan had never been to this shop before, but figured that now he had some of those Quest-Point thingies for doing quests, that he should probably come up and check things out. He wasn't a hundred percent sure what it would be like, but when he came up to the strange cabin and glanced around, he was surprised to see the shopkeeper was... No, she wasn't Crimsii. She was perhaps a mix of mammalian and ssashirk, from what he could see. He managed not to stare; but the scare of seeing what he thought at first was a Crimsii without their mask in public was certainly a bit weird from an outside point of view without knowledge. Renathan carried his QP card with him as he glanced around, and then saw a sign about being able to turn your Quest Points in for credits. That sounded just fine by him, there were a few other interesting things, but that was definitely what he wanted. "Greetings! Could I trade in my 5 quest points for credits?" He hoped it would be a goodly amount, but ah well. He needed some more credits for a project, anyway.

Jolyne stared at the man as he entered and snorted before motioning rather brusquely for the card he had, "Yeah, give me your card and I'll run it. See what you can get." She frowned a little as she held out her hand for the card.

Renathan was certainly used to the more flower-y shopkeepers, so he was a bit surprised at this one's brusque attitude at first; but then he found it refreshing. Working in customer service was basically a nightmare and a half, and he didn't blame her. He'd rather have someone's real personality showing through, instead of a fake persona put on for customers, after all. There was a reason why that cart-guy made Renathan's skin crawl and fur stand on end, after all. "Here." He said, not dispensing with the pleasantries, but still sounding soft and non-confrontational at this time. He handed over the card so that she could run it, and then glanced around the shop for a second, getting a good look at the general vibe. He'd heard that this place had been made just recently; and he could still smell the vague cedar-y smell that logs kept for years after being used in a cabin.

Eyes narrowing a little, she snapped up the card and swiped it through her machine before nodding a little bit and shooting her hand out toward him, holding the card, "You can get 1000 credits, okay?"

Renathan nodded happily at that, taking the card back as she handed it over. "Thank you, I'd like that. That's enough for me." Ah, he had learned the thank you a long time ago; common was such a strange language. It had began to permeate him, however. He wasn't sure exactly how this hybrid mammalian would act in relation to it, but he hoped it would be at least neutral. He thought that the cabin was really nice; with all of the really neat objects laying around, but he didn't really have any need for most of them; he was a fire elemental, after all. That was why he was the most interested in the credits here. He figured every few months or so he would come back and get some more credits, the fresh influx would be nice, after all. It wasn't like quests were too hard or anything like that most of the time. Or so he heard.

Nodding, Jolyne pushed a few buttons and then grunted, "There, 1000 credits. Bye." She handed over a bag full of credits and then leaned back against the counter behind her, waiting for him to leave.

The shopkeeper did not have to wait long for him to go away; that was for sure. Renathan did a quick dip of the head, a mere quick version of the usual careful bow that he gave; his antlers just hardly dipped. Then, he took the credits with a quick "Thank you!" and then turned around to leave. He walked straight to the door, but glanced over to either side as he walked at all of the other wares... Yeah, not one of them caught his eye. He was sure that they would be desirable to lots of different folks, but he was certainly not one of them. He was glad that this shopping trip had went well thusfar, and he hoped to be able to continue to have such good shopping trips. These credits would certainly be enough to help him get started off in his job, he just knew it!
