Please note...- The last date to post your introduction post is the June 18th. Without an introduction post you cannot battle. - Certain moves can't be used in the Pit because of the surroundings and other moves can affect more than one creature at the same time. After all introduction posts have been posted you will be informed whether those two apply to any of your creatures' moves. - That you have 3 days to post a response to a calculation post and/or roleplay post. The 3 day deadline is not extended if your foe posts after a calculation post. Not meeting the deadline results in an automatic disqualification. - That characters level once every 20 posts in the Fighting Pit, but pets gain levels and loyalty towards their owners normally.

There was no reason to be cocky, they both knew it, it was only round three and they had a lot more tournament to go before they were finished with this. While neither of them were cocky, it was easy to see people being so after a couple of wins. It wouldn't do for them to start that though, they both knew better. Jack and Kro walked into the arena at the same time, side by side, as partners and not owner and animal as some did. Kro didn't lead either as the powerhouse she hid behind, because she didn't. It was a show of strength, and it worked on some, didn't work on others, but they both did it because it made the most sense to them. "Knock 'em down," Jack told him with a smile, patting him on the nose. Kro simply grunted and nudged her toward the owner's booth, making her chuckle a little bit, he knew what they were there to do.

'With how our last fight ended, we really need to start changing up our stratigies.' She mutturs in her mind towards Rayak, not feeling quite as confident yet on today's fight. She doesn't know who they'll encounter soon, but in just a few minutes they'll reach the end of the hall, and if their opponent is already there.. She could start estimating on their chances of winning this particular fight. A annoyed growl from her right side made her look down in that direction, while Rayak did appear calm one could see the tension radiating from his body. 'Don't remind me, getting hit twice by that wall from a snake who can imitate the story you once told me about that Cave Vultuicus against the three little Bwee's is bad enough, I'm not even a house.' She hears him grumble back, his tail lashing out in agitation. She sighs at that, Rayak's been in a bad mood for a while now, though, it is to be expected she supposes. Losses always tends to bring that to either the one's fighting themselves, or their companions, which can hit her harder then most when it happens to him. 'It will have to happen anyway Rayak, espe-'She cuts herself of in her mind when they reach the end of the hall and see who their next opponent is. 'This one looks just like the first.[/i]' She hears him say to her in a strained voice as he carefully walks inside the pit, eyeing his opponent warily. 'A bit too much when one looks at the colors.' She couldn't help but agree as she made her way to the bleachers, sitting down in a spot that overlooks the best part of the pit. 'Goodluck Rayak.' She says to him, he will definitely need it as she eyes the opponent's Thundergug, already feeling dread coming in her lower stomach at the memory of their first fight..

Notes
- Kro can use all moves and abilities he knows.
- Rayak cannot use Climb, Stalk, Hydro Jet, Dig, or Burrow as there is nothing to climb, nothing to hide in, no water, and only a thin layer of sand in the Pit
- Rayak is under the influence of Grunty's Intimidation and has 4 Strength and 4 Dexterity for the remainder of the battle

There was a stamp of a massive foot as he saw the opponent coming into the arena with him, and while he didn't move his gaze from the Mosca, his head moved a bit toward the woman. Jack smiled a little bit and wondered what was going to happen between the two, she'd heard of this Mosca. That was alright though, she thought they could hit hard first and get this done really quickly. Even if he took to the sky, they still had a decent chance it seemed. Ah well, whatever happened, she would be happy about it at the moment. "Okay Kro, roar!" she called to him through the Ribbon, and the Thundergug lurched up onto his back feet and dropped down, opening his mouth in a massive bugle that made the walls shake. Jack laughed a little bit at the sound, it made her happy to hear it, it meant good things were coming for them.

Eyeing the beast, he couldn't help but wonder if this fight will end just like the last one, the way it felt to have his fur get burned wasn't pleasant at all to feel, growling lowly he crouches in a way to appear smaller then he actually is. He knows from last time that attacking it head on will leave vvery little damage due to the headplate it has, but maybe if he can get to its side somehow, he'll be able to leave a nice big scratch or bite wound in? Defending himself first before attacking hasn't exactly worked out so well yet for him. 'What do you think?' He couldn't help but ask her through the ribbon. 'Would either biting or rending that beast to pieces be a good option for it? I don't have to bite through a layer of fur with this one.' He certainly didn't see any fur clinging on it from this distance, but he couldn't wuite tell if he is dealing with scales either. Could be tiny ones maybe? 'I think using rend would be best if the Thndergug doesn't dodge it first.' He hears her say back, and he narrows his eyes at it. Chances are pretty big that this one would be able to react the same way unfortunaly. Just as he makes himself ready to run at it with claws out, the beast makes his first move, roaring at him in a way that freezes his muscles in place as flight or fight instincts fight for dominance.

That worked well enough for the both of them, or at least she thought it did for the moment. Jack smiled a little and looked over the arena at her Thundergug, she loved the Gug more than she probably should at the moment, they were an extension of each other it seemed. Kro stomped his foot as the trumpeting roar echoed throughout the arena, many people covering their ears, until the woman called out the next move through their Ribbon, "Rend, Kro." Kro shot forward as fast as he could and took a swipe at the Mosca with huge claws. It was impressive, she had to give him that much. Maybe a maul would have been better, just in case, but they were going to take no chances at this point. Typically the smaller creatures could move quicker than he could, it was just nice that they had gotten in with one who was still intimidated by the Gug.

It took a while before Rayak felt his muscles 'unfreeze' so to say after the initial roar of the beast, and he shakes his whole body in order to be sure about it while keeping his eyes on the Thudergug in order to make certain it wasn't ready to attack him yet. Kneeding his paws in the sand his eyes narrow on the big beast in anger, this feels to similar to the one he already faced in the first fight, and he knows with that one defense tactics only worked for a little bit till he got knocked down. He isn't certain he actually wants to keep staying on the defense, trying to attack it again might be good, and even with his instinctive wariness around the beast that distracts him from going after it with his full strength. There might still be a chance for him to be able to dodge anything thrown at him too, ain't it? 'I think we should use Dash Rayak, it seems like its preparing for something physical' He hears Twilight muttur towards him inside his mind, he flicks his ears down at that. 'No, I rather try and fight it now, even if the chance is slim I will win.' He decides, and prepares to run straight at his foe once more.

Calculations
Kro uses Rend A d10 is rolled; 2 is rolled. Kro's dexterity of 7 plus the roll of 2 = 9, Kro will deal the most damage possible. Kro's strength of 11 + damage of rend 6 = 17 17 damage - Rayak's resistance of 4 = 13 Damage to Rayak's Stamina 11 - 13 = -2
Rayak now has -2 Stamina; he hits the ground and immediately the pit team comes to heal him; it doesn't seem take long to do.
Jack and Kro get 2 levels for Kro and 3 prize points for winning. Rayak and Twilight-Claw get 1 level for Rayak and 1 pit prize point for participating.
