I had a question about how character levelling works- especially when you have multiple threads going at once. I know different areas have different numbers of posts for a character to level up, but what happens if you have multiple threads in each area? Like, say I'm working in the mines and training a pet. The park is a level for every ten posts, while in the mines it's a level for every 20. Do I just go back and forth between them and add a point of progress for each post in each area? Or do I pick one as my "Active levelling" thread? What happens if I get up to, say, 15 posts in the mines and then make a training post? Do I go up a level? I just want to make sure I'm not accidentally exploiting a rule or leveling my character incorrectly, that's all.

All threads your character is actively in grant you levels, regardless of area (provided they are areas that actually grant levels, that is x3) but how you count them up is entirely up to you. Some people go through a whole thread (or in case of Mines, a whole 'trip') and add together the levels after they're done. Some add levels when the respective post-count (5 for Plot, 10 for Basic, 20 for Advanced) is reached. Ultimately, it's up to you what kind of method you like to use~

Oh ok! I only asked because I wanted to crack down on some training while I go through the mines, and didn't accidentally miscount. That's a good way of doing it though- only adding on a level when you've gotten to the amount of posts that would give a level, and doing it per-thread instead of trying to figure out where you are over all threads as a whole. Thank you for the advice!
