The small fore corridor from the entrance hall allows access to the business room of the mortuary. Not unlike a study in and of itself, the room's furniture is of a sturdy table with chairs to either facing side, a livery cupboard, a few curio cabinets and a large patterned rug upon the floor. Outside, visible through the window a blank example of each available headstone is lined beneath the sill. Tall dark drapes hang by the windows, neatly pulled aside and bound to let in light. Should the light of the outside not suffice there are lamp lanterns upon the walls and a hooded lamp upon the desk to provide ample illumination to the room instead. Towards one corner of the room, from out of immediate view is a larger plantation pot, presently vacant, though on occasion residence to a kito. A little beyond it there is a hint of a staircase leading down into a basement.

Upon an agreement, you are presented with a list of clauses, detailing the intricate aspects of the business arrangement:
"The customer has the choice of plot to their liking, in assuming the plot has not already been filled. To avoid the latter case, a layout chart will be provided for them. In purchasing the plot the customer has free choice of whom would be buried there, whether man or beast, as well as the manner (casket or cremation). All headstone burials come complementary with the designated grave marker. In the case of cremation burials, a plaque will be added in place of a headstone. The client has the choice of wording to be placed upon the headstone, but must take into account the room available.
The client has the choice of tending to their claimed plots or designating the grounds-keeper to do so for them. This should be specified by their side during the moment of purchase. Clients are also reminded to be mindful of the graveyard’s opening times. They may discuss specific alternate entrance times with the grounds-keeper should a need for it arise.

The grounds-keeper shall thereby guarantee protection and soulful rest for the persons interred to the best of their ability."
