There's an ad posted next to the quest board. Its... not as interesting now as the initial misspelled flyer has been replaced by a tidier, more fluent scrawl of Common, even if it has accent all through it. How can you accent handwriting? - I am looking for the crystal clusters from May's mansion. All colors
Ex:  <- not mine, example - I'm looking for the flower/plant loot items from the MANSION loot pool, like the paper flowers and the monthly in all 3 colors.
I need all: morning glory, lilac, summer berries, fern sprig, flower crown, coral, coral fan, tiny palm tree, crystal star beads, bombard apples, sour grapes, apple of discord, witchbane 2 and 3, forgetmenot 3 and papercraft rose 1 and 3
I have: all snowdrop, all aster, witchbane1, forgetmenot 1 and 2, papercraft rose 2 Willing to ...pay credits. Or produce. I have produce, at trader/herbologist price. It is signed in a scrawl in a language few can read |

Almost all the pictures are sent back in the small envelope to return address, except for the rake. Already have a rake. How much? Trader price... 4 silver coins each... 44 silver coin. Would you like produce as well? I have a bunch.

A message is returned not long afterward.
"That price would be sufficient. I am in no need of produce at the moment- but thank you very much for offering! If I ever need any in the future, I'll know where to go. I will send a courier with the items requested in two days' time, they'll make the transaction with you then if you still would like to do so."
Below it is another letter that says the same in Tumai, or as close a translation as possible. It would seem that somehow this individual had figured out who they were sending to, and somehow what script- as well as getting someone else to write it for them (it is in different handwriting and everything- still quite fancy).
Resourceful, perhaps, to have learned so much in such a short time frame.

A few pictures are sent in a small envelope to the address; written on it in Tumai. It was a different handwriting than even the last time but it seems to be from the strange individual from before.

A few pictures are sent back to the return address. The lanterns, the wreaths, the long furry arm things?, the soft thing for Shabh, the hot drink and the fireplace. Eleven items. At two silver coins each... 220c? Is my math right this time?

A note is returned fairly quickly all things considered, once again in Tumai- "If I am correct, then that is 10 regular items, and then the potted fireplace; right? If so, that's 25 x 10 = 250 + 50 (potted fireplace). So 300, by trader's usual costs. Would that be amenable? If I am incorrect on the number of regular items, do let me know!" |
