This. This was getting to be stupid. Very stupid. It took Flare's considerable reserver of willpower to not throw the crystals into the little brook that he crossed on the way back to the garden. They were pulsing with anticipation? Excitement? He had to get rid of them somehow. For the second time, he found himself walking away from the cart of the trader and with crystals somehow in hand. from the smell of his basket, there was previously fruit in it. What would he even eat now. The lump of meat barely sufficed half time and he turned to eating other things. But the board caught his eye as he wandered past, the crystals covered up so people didn't somehow want to mug him or anything. It was pink. Why? No matter, put the crystals where he could not see them and return. He did just that. Put away and return. 1 17.20

Once the cursed crystals were put away where Shabh and the creatures were going to reach them. Flare didn't wish to think about what would happen if one got to them. Brushing off the dirt on his toga, Flare headed out to the board. He did not immediately recognize the two humanoids hanging around the board. One female and... uh.... what. People top... deer bottom? Half...a deer? What is this. Who is this. "Looks like you made a full recovery." the female mentioned to him as he came closer. A slight pause. "Look healthier too. That orbaru of yours doing alright?" Who...? He nodded once. "Good. Maybe you can help us though." On closer inspection, the board wasn't just pink. It was SHOWERED in pink everything. He'd only seen this violent color of pink in desert blooms on rare occasions. Glittering mess everywhere. He pointed at it with questioning. "Ffinkuh? Whee?" 'This lizard will help us?! He barely speaks! Looks like someone's draconic went mental.' the deer halved mentioned harshly. 2 18.20

"Yes, pink." the female mentioned. "This is the month of Vakrah, the... month of love." her face wrinkles up a bit at the word. "We both have an admirer who is leaving us candy and attention getting notes and what not." the deer halved stamped a hoof in frustration. "We don't appreciate their endeavor, and want to get them to knock it off. Haven't caught them in the act. So. You-" the female points at him. "Look about and find the admirer for us. We will deal with the rest. In return, you'll get all the candy we've been given." Candy huh. Ok, Flare would be hungry soon enough but eating candy until his garden started putting off food again? He wasn't he biggest fan of sweets. but sweets did at least fill a hungry belly. He nodded. He'd help them find this. The female shot a smirk to the deer halved, almost saying 'I told you so'. 3 19.20

The month of love? In the middle of winter? Pethia had a strange idea of months. Perhaps he'd find more information later on. The female pointed him towards her shop which kitty cornered the quest board. Practically a counter in the wall. Think the student store in a high school with not much funding. Also showered in pink and shiny bits. Not a pretty look. Pink in itself wasn't a bad thing; a lot of plants produced pink flowers. Some with white or yellow on the inner layer of the petals. They caught the eye and looked nice in small batches. Wouldn't constantly be planting it, but the greenery for the plants looked good. Even cactus could bloom in bright pink. What's this. He'd stepped on a discarded note. Picking it up, Flare started to read. It had a flowy script that he didn't really understand. It was hard to read even with a basic knowledge of common. 4

And here was another. The same flowy writing that he didn't quite understand. The piece of paper, also pink, had a crinkled quality with holes on its edges. Several holes, like pinpricks with claws. Not that small though. There were multiple copies of the same piece of paper. Each one he collected had a torn portion off the top, like it had been previously set somewhere? After a bit more collection of pink paper, Flare brought them back to the female. "What'd you find." she took the papers when offered. Reading them, and wrinkling her nose again. "Can't read? I don't blame ye." She gives the paper a whipping motion and reads it to him. "Candy, confections, and more. Vakrah is the season of love, and deserves to be shown. With great love, come get all your things Vakrah..." theres no more? "Sounds like a crap ad." as she crumples up the paper and tosses it in the trash. " "Ffakrauh?" Flare finally asks her. 5 1.20

You have rolled a Success! Your QP will be added to the bank, and your prizes will be sent to you shortly. You may continue roleplaying if you wish (take the following info into consideration when continuing roleplaying ;3).
------------------
After all that hard work (including whatever you did afterward) you are given your first glimpse of whoever has been leaving those horrendous notes...
A young boy wearing a sweater and shorts was holding a little box of candies and a card when he was glimpsed sneaking suspiciously close to the building, and then when he was spotted he tried to run away! After running directly into Jolyne, he turns around, looking sheepish. A tongue lashing by Odoshi later, and the boy was trying to defend himself- "I am not trying to uh, trying to be weird or anything!" He finally shouts, the poor thing couldn't be any older than ten. "I just want to open a candy shop! We were thinking about Selling Vakrah stuff too, but I knew that we needed to uh, advertise!" He looked really sheepish. "I thought y'all would be okay with it, but I was too embarrassed to ask!" He hangs his head in shame.
Who knew that the Vakrah Incident was a misunderstanding all along? The tiny entrepreneur was let off lightly by the two prickly shop keepers all things considered, and told that he can ask any time he wished (it was better than frustrating everyone at least).
