> Xentus, accompanied by...
This task was an odd one to complete, but a task no less. There was never too much of a reason for him to refuse lending aid, unless of course it was something outside of his scope. This particular request was not one such thing. It was simple- find the secret admirer of the doe-legged fae and mammalian woman. Whoever they were, they were leaving sweet Vakrah candies for the ladies. Which to him, sounded like a rather cute thing to do. Perhaps it interfered with their work? Well, no matter the reason, he had an interest in taking their sweets for himself.
To help aid in his detective work, he brought along a rather brightly colored young Panilla. It wasn't exactly an inconspicuous critter, but perhaps that made for exactly the perfect guise to hide a little secret: their linked eyes. Though, this arrangement wasn't exactly the easiest to operate. Panillas had the great ability to nap wherever they pleased..

So, here was the plan Xentus had formulated: plant the colorful little creature just outside of the Jolyne's shop and observe from afar whenever someone passed by. Meanwhile, he himself would stalk about for clues. Er. Whatever clues he might be able to find, that is. He himself wasn't the most unassuming mammalian man to hang about some place. His pelt was much too bright and his frame on the larger side to easily hide in the shadows. The only option he could figure for himself was to duck away behind the shop if anyone drew too near. Or maybe pretend to be some kind of maintenance worker? He'd figure something out.
Step one, plant the Panilla. Harmony, as he affectionately called the young creature, was already busy mid-nap in his arms. She was curled into a tight little ball, her bright colors reflecting the morning light magnificently. He had no real fear of her wandering off if she woke, and besides, he could just see into her eyes to find wherever she might've gone.

He made sure this was all alright with Jolyne beforehand. Didn't want her wondering why this adorable, bright little beast was napping just before her workplace. Harmony was a harmless little sentry. Cute and unassuming, she wouldn't scare off any interested visitors. Heck, she might even draw more people in. That plush dense coat was soft to the touch, and the calm demeanor of the Panilla was rather inviting to pet.
"Keep watch for us, yes?", Xentus whispered gently to the sleepy animal as he placed her down under the awning beside the door. She silently yawned in return, blinking her little eyes open for a moment to get an understanding of this new strange place she'd been brought to. Nice time to test out their linked vision. Xentus closed his own eyes and warged to see through the creature's. The world seemed so much bigger from down here. To be on the eye level of feet and paws was such a strange feeling. And.. Oh. Right. Nap time.

Xentus's sight returned to his own. He blinked hard a couple times, trying to wear away that odd lingering feeling that was somehow like the aftertaste of a minty snack. This connection wasn't really one he utilized often. Harmony slept too often to make much use of it, and whenever he did peer through her eyes, the sight was usually something mundane like her eating or grooming. Not particularly exciting. But for once, he got the chance to do something a bit more fun. If she'd be awake enough for it, that is.
Well, that was more or less step one. Xentus went off to execute step two: sleuthing around for clues! Which was another way to say wait for the Panilla to wake up. He tried to make himself busy wandering around the premises, examining odd plants and pretending to look for footprints. This is how to detective, right? In all honesty, he didn't have much of a clue on what to do.

And now, it was time to play the waiting game. The leopard peered through a window once to see if anything had changed on the interior of the shop. Maybe any new candies among the Vakrah decor? But there was no such random luck. A few passerbys gave him the odd look as he tried to remain out of sight, but he'd just pretend to be busy doing uh.. Something. Inspecting the paint job? Yes, that worked for now. He never felt awkward in his skin, and was quite used to being stared at or talked about. As much as a mixing pot as the City was, he'd say he was among the more odd looking people. Of course, there were always stranger sights to see around here.
Xentus resigned himself to sitting behind the building, watching through the Panilla's closed eyes. Not the most exciting sight. But he was a patient person, with plenty enough time on his hands watching the lids of something else's eyes.

Time ticked away. Xentus could hear the faint chatter of bodies moving about within the shop from his spot. Activity seemed to be picking up. And still, little Harmony took her time resting, oblivious to the commotion around her. The leopard was unsure of how many people came and went, or if the perpetrator he was searching had came by already. He could only hope not..
Xentus almost drifted into a nap himself, when his linked eyes opened slowly. A slow blink, then another. Some jostling vision as the creature scratched behind her ear and shook herself awake. Another blink, before looking up to view who's legs these were. Some paws.. Attached to. Oh, Jolyne. Was she stepping out for a moment? Someone else was there too, stepping into view and bending down to pet the brightly colored creature. A nice looking human lady, who was smiling and mouthing something he couldn't read.

Harmony seemed particularly interested in this lady. Xentus watched on as the Panilla seemed to perk up and absorb the attention they gave her. Oh, no. Harmony, don't look up her skirt. Harmony please, no! Xentus broke the link between him and his Panilla, feeling his face flushing a bit. He had no control of where the creature placed her eyes, but it felt rather... Wrong. He was no peeping tom, and he wouldn't take to abusing this vision link in such a way. Again, he blinked to clear the afterimages that lingered in his eyes, shaking his head in a feeble attempt to speed up the process.
For now, he listened in on the idle chatter between the two women. Couldn't be sure where the Panilla was peering. He's warg into her eyes again whenever it was safe enough. Seemed like ladies were heading out for a short break? Eavesdropping wasn't something he was above doing. Plus, he had to be aware of anyone taking advantage of this opportune moment.

A few minutes were allowed to pass before the leopard returned his gaze through the eyes of the bright little beast. It was almost a surprise to see that she wasn't sleeping again. Instead, Harmony had decided to wander around a bit, getting a closer look at her surroundings. She sniffed at the decorative pottery near the door. And reached forward with her muzzle to chomp on a low hanging leaf.. Only to spit it out upon realizing it wasn't bamboo. He hoped nobody would mind the new teeth marks adorning the foliage.
The next object of interest was a little fallen paper Vakrah decoration. It was a pink heart with paisley patterning adorning its surface, and apparently a newfound plaything. It was batted about and chewed on, bits and pieces getting torn apart by the vicious panda-like being. Well, if this decoration was the perpetrator, then mission accomplished, the subject has been neutralized.

Alas, this was unlikely to be the case. Suddenly animate paper hearts would be the source of greater worry than just candies being left behind. Pondering whatever kind of papermancy would've been going on and the potential uses of such was silly to think about, but amusing nonetheless to the leopard as he watched the Panilla play from his first person view. Before long, there were only scraps of the paper decoration left behind, scattered among the storefront like confetti. Uh.. He'd have to go clean that up.
Blinking back into his own eyes, the leopard stood up and dusted his pants off, then moved towards the mess his pet made. He tried to act quickly, but the little bits of paper were a but tough for his clawed fingers to get a grasp on. Harmony greeted him by rubbing her cheeks on his foot, dark round eyes seeming to plead for something to eat.

Right. Aside from sleeping, the fuzzy little Panilla was well known for spending their time eating whenever they were awake. Luckily, he had come prepared with some pocket carrots. The crunchy orange veggies were more of a treat than a meal admittedly, but they were much more portable than bamboo stalks. Harmony didn't seem to mind, however, and was quick to begin nibbling on the offered snack. Xentus finished cleaning the scrap bits of paper, shoving them into a pocket for now, and left a couple more treats for his pet before returning to his post.
And so the waiting game resumed. Watching through the eyes of the Panilla in his little stakeout was oddly fun. He'd always been a fan of knowing bringing himself to an animal's level to gain a better understanding of their mind, and sharing senses was an interesting way to go about that. Even if this particular case had a habit of sleeping for most of the day. He'd take advantage of peering through the world in a different set of eyes for as long as it would last. And just maybe, he'd catch a glimpse of the culprit behind this candy conundrum.

You have rolled a Success! Your QP will be added to the bank, and your prizes will be sent to you shortly. You may continue roleplaying if you wish (take the following info into consideration when continuing roleplaying ;3).
------------------
After all that hard work (including whatever you did afterward) you are given your first glimpse of whoever has been leaving those horrendous notes...
A young boy wearing a sweater and shorts was holding a little box of candies and a card when he was glimpsed sneaking suspiciously close to the building, and then when he was spotted he tried to run away! After running directly into Jolyne, he turns around, looking sheepish. A tongue lashing by Odoshi later, and the boy was trying to defend himself- "I am not trying to uh, trying to be weird or anything!" He finally shouts, the poor thing couldn't be any older than ten. "I just want to open a candy shop! We were thinking about Selling Vakrah stuff too, but I knew that we needed to uh, advertise!" He looked really sheepish. "I thought y'all would be okay with it, but I was too embarrassed to ask!" He hangs his head in shame.
Who knew that the Vakrah Incident was a misunderstanding all along? The tiny entrepreneur was let off lightly by the two prickly shop keepers all things considered, and told that he can ask any time he wished (it was better than frustrating everyone at least).
