Riku finally made his way past the eager older woman who had shoved her request down his throat. He planned on helping her and was happy to be of service - in exchange for quest points - but she was rather insistent even after he had said he would accept it. He had three of her fliers in his hand, and he wondered if she had forgotten she already gave him one when she pushed the second and third into his hands....or if she was really just that eager. He looked at the one as he stepped into the building. A Nyssa....? He was a bit wary about facing up to one of those. He had only ever shared the company of one, and it was extremely friendly. Hopefully this one was just as docile - but if it was, why would she need help? He threw the other two in the trash as he walked in and put the original in his pocket.
He walked up to the desk, already knowing what he wanted. A gift for a friend who had shown interest before.

Jolyne watched as someone entered the store and threw some things away in the trash can by the entrance. She sighed, and put down her phone. A customer meant that she had to pay attention. "Hey there." She said as Riku approached. "How can I help you?" She wasn't sure if she had ever seen this person before, but judging from how he looked around the place, this was probably his first time in the store anyway.

"Hey, Jolyne." he said with a warm smile...even though she never really seemed that interested in seeing him. Sometimes he wondered if she even remembered who he was, since she often treated him like any other customter. Then again....he was just another customer. It's just..he would make sure to make people feel more important than a random face not worth recognizing. That's how he ran his service, at least.
A mental sigh, without showing his true face, he rested the palms of his hands at the edge of the glass cabinet with the device he wanted inside. Jolyne was not Riku. And that was okay. He pointed down at the item, "I just came in real fast to get one of those for Kio-" he said, stopping half way through the name of his amulet spirit. Even if she did remember seeing him, she probably didn't know him by his name. Best not to ask for more than the basics....which she only seemed to barely keep up with.

Jolyne was quick to respond to the customer's request. She was a no-nonsense sort of person- despite the homely appearance of her shop, she preferred to run her business efficiently and without haggling, handing over the rewards for people's questing adventures. "Oh, that? The panic button? Yeah, I can get you one of those. Got the QP for it?" She said, turning her chair toward the door to the backroom, implying that she'd go grab it once she had the points.

"Yes I do." he said rather chipper. He was glad this was going well and fast since he had a creature waiting outside for him still.....a certain creature he had just realized wasn't actually trained. Who knows if it was still even there? Goodness......he was so used to travelling with either someone who worshiped him, or someone who was literally attached to him through a piece of jewelry. This was like 'Did I leave the stove on', but different. Then again, Aslan did seem rather infatuated already. A loyal breed and proud. Riku didn't think he would just run off - where would he go...? Unless.....? Oh no, did he feed him today? There isn't a grocery store near here is there? Opposable thumbs!
He handed over his card for the mammalian to check in the system, and suddenly had a new appreciation for her lack of small talk. He tried not to tap his foot while he waited.

Jolyne quickly swiped the card and tapped through the system to take the points off. "Perfect, you're all set." She said, and slid the device over the counter to him. "Enjoy your thingy, dude."
